This particular Sunrail Station is conveniently located in downtown Winter Park, Florida by the park and close to all the shops and restaurants. SunRail is a great option for travel and all in all, it was a positive experience.

This Sunrail station is located in Winter Park off Park Ave! What's great about this stop is the proximity to local businesses and because it is attached to the Amtrak station there are bathrooms. (Applause) There are usually attendants to help you purchase tickets to the Sunrail. It's a perfect activity for the family but keep in mind that it's only open on weekdays and select weekends. Bonus is kids 6 and under ride for free! We have taken the train up to Lake Mary and back before and it makes for a few nice hours of fun. Here is wishing the Sunrail rides to the airport one day!

I love this station. Located in Central Park it looks quintessential Winter Park. The first Winter Park railway station was built in 1882 by the South Florida Railroad. The Atlantic Coast Line Railroad built a newer station in 1913. This depot was used until 1982 when it was purchased by the city. They restored the rail depot and now it hosts the farmers market every Saturday morning. The Atlantic Coast Railroad built a new station in 1962 in Central Park, one block from Park Avenue. In 2013 Pillar Construction Group of Clermont Fl started construction on a 1.2 million new station building replacing the old one that was torn down. It was designed in a Craftsman style to match the architecture of Winter Park. The new station was opened on March 3, 2014. Tthe design of this station looks like something from another era. Even though it is new it looks historic. Today Amtrak and Sunrail operate trains out of this station. The train deposits riders right in the middle of town down Winter Park where there are many restaurants, shops, and museums within walking distance.

This is the only station I have been at. I have never ridden the SunRail but have walked around this station when visiting Winter Park for shopping. Plenty of parking not only for the station but also to walk around the shopping and parks in the area.

This is a very cute, quaint station. It is compact but that means there's no chance of getting lost, right? There seems to be plenty of parking in the adjoining lot and the bustling retail/restaurant area in this part of Winter Park is just a couple of blocks away. That means, if you are not burdened by luggage, you can easily roam and, within a radius of just a few blocks, enjoy a craft beer, specialty coffee, fine wine, get a to go snack or pick up whatever you may need for your trip. Bench seating is provided indoors and a few benches outdoors are available. I used an outlet to get a last minute charge for my phone, found the bathrooms well maintained and checked in with the station attendant immediately upon arrival without a wait. This welcoming and charming station has a somewhat unreal feel about it, like it was designed for a movie or has a Disney-like Imagineers made this quality to it. How appropriate, considering it is within driving distance of Disney World.

This is your typical Sun Rail station only nicer because it is in Winter Park. Lots of room, and seat available for you to sit and wait for the train. Lovely view of the park adjacent to the station. Schedules are posted conveniently all around the station so you know when the trains are arriving. Ticket vending machines are also readily available clearly marked. Also the tap on, tap off stations are nearby. The only improvement I can recommend, is some sort of GPS monitoring system so you know exactly where the train is and how far away. Had a great evening riding the Sun Rail.

Beautiful station with art work, a flower garden, and access to shops on Park Avenue. This is the only station where you can get off and actually go somewhere without finding a ride for the last mile. . . well, maybe except for the Florida health station that has access to the hospital and museums and parks. This station also serves Amtrack, so there is an inside waiting area which is nice in the event of super hot weather or rain. Listening to find out which train is coming has to be done since both Amtrack and Sunrail stop here.

The southbound side has woods and a neighborhood behind it as well as an apartment complex that shares the main parking area. Sitting with my back towards the woods with the kids was a little uneasy as no one was there until about 10-15 mins before the train when I saw an employee area across the track. We love taking the SunRail to visit family and friends as well as just for something to do after school. Adult tickets round trip are only $5.50 and kids under 7 ride free ( what a great deal )! We normally take the SunRail from the winter park location where we literally know all the staff lol as we've been taking it for over a year ! I will definitely stick with the WP location although this station is the same distance from us because they are busier and have a restroom near by with vending machines. This location did not have any amenities, BUT I did see the Lynx shuttle which is a perk for anyone needing to utilize a ride from the station. Now we just need the SunRail to run on weekends !!!! First time riding the sun rail!…read more I love taking trains and trams when I travel abroad, so tiding the local station was a no-brainer! I was in the area of the Altamonte station and decided to take it to Church Street for the Solar Bears game the night I went. The train is comfortable and has a good amount of seating. There are attendants on the train to keep everyone safe and to check tickets. The ride is a bit shifty and bumpy (compared to European counterparts), but it got the job done! Definitely beats being stuck in traffic and finding parking Downtown! I can see using the SunRail again! It's sad they don't offer rides o. The weekends though.

Outstanding Service Every Time!…read more We have used Nick's Airport Shuttle several times now for roundtrips from Palm Coast to both Jacksonville and Orlando airports, and every experience has been excellent. Most recently, we booked them to pick up our daughter from Orlando, and they'll soon be taking our large group to the airport for our trip to Alaska. No matter the occasion, Nick's team always delivers. Using Nick's shuttle feels like having your own personal driver. The vehicles are spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The drivers are professional, punctual, and friendly, and Nick himself is a great guy--a fellow Navy veteran who takes pride in his business and his customers. His attention to detail and reliability make travel so much easier. Update - October 2025: We recently traveled to Canada and returned on a one-way cruise to Miami. Nick's shuttle took us to Jacksonville for our flight, and two weeks later, he was right there in Miami to pick us up after the cruise. That seamless coordination made our vacation stress-free from start to finish. We love using Nick's service because it truly takes the hassle out of travel and lets us focus on enjoying the journey. We will continue to use Nick's Airport Shuttle for all our future trips. If you want peace of mind, professionalism, and a friendly face to get you where you need to go, Nick's is the best choice. One thing you might want to know about Church Street: unlike other stations (that I've used), the platforms for northbound and southbound are not directly opposite each other. The southbound platform is south of South Street, while the northbound platform is a little further north, NORTH of South Street. (I know that sounds confusing - it isn't if you read it carefully.) This is a useful fact lest you "go back to the same place" where you got off. If you're cutting it close, it might cost you 30 minutes until the next train (or 2 hours, or the next day!) I'm surprised and disappointed that GoogleMaps doesn't show this. Yes, I've submitted a "correction" request to them on 1/26/17, but it might take time for them to react and correct.

Going from Melbourne Florida to Orlando can be difficult on occasion and getting flights directly…read moreinto Melbourne is always a challenge. This last trip rather than trying to juggle everyone's schedule I looked into Executive Livery to go to the Orlando Airport. That was a great decision that I highly recommend. When I went on the site I was a bit surprised that I needed to enter my contact info and I believe it was a Sunday. But I received a call back within 15 minutes at the most! The whole process was an absolute breeze. I spoke with Jeffrey Kabool, the owner, who discussed itinerary and needs with me. Everything was set up that day for a very reasonable price. I was informed who my driver would be the day before my trip and when he arrived in the compound he asked where I preferred for him to park (below ground or above). Of course he loaded the luggage and the vehicle was stocked , in case I was thirsty. The trip was comfortable and went by quickly. So rather than either trying to get connecting flights and switching planes to get a direct flight into Melbourne Florida, or inconvenience family or friends to have them pick you up or drop you off to or from Orlando, by all means give Executive Livery Service a try.
