I prefer using the monorail over the ferry because it is just a lot faster. During busy times there will be a way to go, but the staff is trying to make it as smooth as possible. My favorite part is the amazing view of the grand Floridian.

The Magic Kingdom Monorail is a part of the Walt Disney Resort Transportation. When you park at the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can take the Magic Kingdom Monorail to the theme park. The Walt Disney World Monorail system does have a variety of stops with round-trip express services. One of the Walt Disney World trips my family and I had, we ended up staying at the Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The Magic Kingdom Monorail would stop by this resort, pick us up, and then take us to the Magic Kingdom theme park! There are a variety of other stops too with the Magic Kingdom Monorail Disney's Contemporary Resort Disney's Grand Floridian Resort It's round trip, so it will bring you back to the Transportation and Ticket center if you parked your vehicle there. If you're staying at one of the resorts on the Magic Kingdom Monorail route, you can take the monorail back to the hotel. I enjoyed taking the Magic Kingdom Monorail. It's nice to sit down and enjoy the ride. You get to see all of the beautiful scenery on your way to the theme park. It can get relatively busy after the fireworks though!

The monorail is a means of transportation throughout certain sections of the Disney World theme parks. For ticketing, EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, there are designated rail lines for each. The monorail is a smooth ride that makes multiple stops along the way for passengers. It's important to know what line to get on before to ensure you get to where you are going.

The monorail is a fantastic way to get around the Disney World resort. The station at Magic Kingdom gives you access to the park itself and it also gives you a view of the park as it goes to and through the magic Kingdom area.

Did not smell like urine, but my monoral did look like it a bit. It did make me feel like I needed to go however. Driver waved to me and management was not asleep at the wheel. Don't listen to Bridget M. She left a review on the wrong page.

Magic kingdom monorail system works like any airport monorail or train system that takes you from your parking lot in the magic kingdom to the front entrance of the famed Disney theme park. Monorail also can take you over to Epcot theme park if you hop on the opposite monorail. The system itself is included wit your price of parking that you've already paid and has workers guiding traffic. It can get very crowded and tight depending on times of travel. This can also determine whether you get to sit or stand on the monorail. Overall it os a pretty sufficient and easy to use system to get to and from your parking spot to the main Disney theme park.

We were the monorail round a few times, exploring different, Disney parks and resorts, and it was fun riding around and getting explore take a break from walking for a little while and see you and everything

Depending on time it's a pretty quick moving line, but when it's hot out it marks it harder to wait....for me anyway. Once on it's a quick ride to the ticket booths. We did have to ge a wheel chair to and from the park/lots because it's too much of a walk for my 80 year old dad. Wheelchairs are easily accessible thank goodness near all the lot areas.

When we arrived there was a very long line to get to the magic kingdom monorail. The line did move rather quickly. The only thing was directing individuals with strollers and wheel chairs ( there seemed to be some confusion with what line they should enter). Other than that that !! A much better experience than I anticipated!

Best way to get to Magic Kingdom from TTC. Check out my tip for better insight on how to make monorail work best in the early morning.

Always love riding the monorail even if not staying on property. The feel is classic Disney. Never gets old!

Ask the Community - Magic Kingdom Monorail

    Does this train have wifi?

I don't think the train specifically has wifi, but there is wifi located throughout the entire park! I believe I was able to access the Disney wifi while I was on the train.

The top speed for the Disney monorail system is 45 MPH and you will only go that speed if you take the Monorail from Epcot to TTC.

The service started some years back, then stopped during COVID and was re-launched in June 2022. I have utilized Minnie Vans multiple times throughout my visits and have always had a positive experience. Disney partners with Lyft to execute the Minnie Vans; if you're on property, Minnie Vans will be a vehicle option to choose once you open the app and input your destination. When it launched there was one set price no matter where you were going, though recently I noticed that the price varies based on your destination. Minnie Van has a number of features that sets it apart from a typical Lyft. First and foremost, the drivers are Disney Cast Members, not Lyft employees, so the customer service is at a different level. They are also very sociable and will engage you in conversation during your ride. The cars are consistently clean, can seat up to seven, and offer extra features like a car seat and charging plugs for a variety of phone types. I've never had to wait too long for a car - maybe 10 to 12 minutes at the most during the busy periods. The only drawback (if you can call it one) is the price. Minnie Vans are a premium service and charge a premium price. In a way it's a little ridiculous - the prices are 3 to 4 times more than a typical Lyft to the same destination, and for that reason I would only utilize it if I have money to spend and it would be a big inconvenience for me to get to my destination otherwise (like going from resort to resort). The ride is a great experience, it's just really expensive. Overall, Minnie Vans is a great service - there are many features that elevate it above a typical rideshare, and it has that Disney touch that adds to the experience. The price will keep me from using it regularly while on property, but I'm glad that the option is there.
