Aside from that, you DONT EVEN GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! The building is exceptionally humid inside, I'm specifically paying for a climate controlled unit, but it's hotter inside the building than it is outside! How is that climate controlled? How much irreparable damage is being done to potentially irreplaceable belongings of hundreds of people and families? What's worse than all this so far is the "support" or lack thereof for any issues you may have. Want to speak to the person manning the front desk at the unit location? Good. Luck. They're never there and when they are, they either have no common sense, no brain, or no ability to care about your issue, I'm not going to name people here but she knows who she is. May the gods help whomever tries to contact their phone support because it's absolutely atrocious, they have no ability to help and always refer you to the "district manager" who then refers you to the "regional" manager, who then you never speak to them and I'm all but sure they're just a fake chain of command set up to dissuade you from calling again. If I wasn't a nerd/collector I would just get rid of all my excess material possessions and never step within 1000 feet of another Public Storage ever again. She walked me through the whole way to make sure I was taken care of. The layout seemed a bit tricky with the halls and doors at first, but with the tour Christine gave I was able to get the hang of it. I even got lost once I was one my own for the first time and she paid attention enough to notice and come looking for me to help. I had a bunch of questions, as anyone renting for the first time might have, and she never made me feel like a bother or like it was too much. All together I left my first visit feeling satisfied and taken care of. Christine is definitely a great person to interact with after a long day of packing and moving boxes.

After 3 months at this Orlando location, we received a letter saying our unit price was more than DOUBLING from $78 to $150 with a 30 day notice. We called and were told there was nothing they could do about the price increase and also told us they do rate increases every 3-9 months meaning in another few months there will 100% be another rate increase. We've been using storage units for years and have never had this problem. We are now having to move all of our stuff to another storage unit because of this company.
