I stopped in here to buy a few boxes, so I can't give much on the storage aspect but I can say that service was friendly and professional.

Let me start by saying that Max, the owner, has a real attitude. How do you run a business and you are arrogant? Max? You lost business. I will never return or suggest your storage facility just based on your pompous attitude. I would suggest putting someone that has a personality behind the desk and you stay in the back. read more

I agree with the reviewer who warns of the owners' attitude. They do not aim to please. They run a low budget business. Be careful where you park. If you park in "their" parking spot (unmarked) they will box you in with their truck and when you come to the office to ask them to move so you can leave they will threaten you to "Never park there again." I searched and this was the cheapest and they were very friendly. It is 24 hour access. They let you use a box truck with a lift gate free when you move in! I feel like my stuff is safe. There are cameras and they have a very nice couple living on site in an apartment for security. Not much else to say, it's a storage unit. read more

This is one of the best storage facility in this area. Very clean, secure with easy access to local businesses. Linda who manages the store on the weekend offered several discounted plans and is very accommodating and very pleasant to work with. read more

I've had a wonderful experience with these guys, the couple running the storage sight is always helpful to our needs. The prices are the best in town and when I needed a smaller unit they were fast and friendly with their services. I'm always on time but one time I was late they knocked off the late fee for my loyal service to their business! I would recommend this location to anyone who is in need of storage! read more

Terrible experience due to the incompetence of the assistant-to-the-manager, Linda. I was told multiple times that an on-site promotional box truck could be used to "move-in" within the first 14 days of renting a storage unit. It was a great bonus and the only reason I rented a unit here over one of the 5 other nearby competitors. I explained very clearly that I was MOVING IN to my new apartment on Jan 7th, 15 days from the start of the storage rental and the truck would be ideal to use for that day since it was only used for "moving in" and not "moving out" of my current apartment. Linda said don't worry about it and would sign me up to use the truck in hopes she wouldn't get in trouble. Linda came off a bit like she was trying to impress me and even got me a discounted price. Cool, whatever, everyone's happy. I moved all of my belongings over to the storage unit over the course of the following week, Linda even came over and politely greeted me and my family and friends as we hauled in car loads of stuff. Then came the 7th, move in day to my new apartment. I called ahead around 2PM to confirm that the truck was available to me still. Linda answered the phone, said nobody was on the schedule for the day and that I couldn't have the truck anyway because I needed to pick it up by 2PM to have it back by 6PM. After quickly explaining who I was and that I only needed the truck for about 1.5hrs, Linda replied with a very friendly "oh yes of course I remember you! okay come in and get the truck, but I need it back by 5:30-6" I said sure no problem, I'll be there soon. I arrive with my wife and friend to sign out the truck. I provide valid insurance and a CC deposit. We all talk about the struggles of moving in and that we're almost done and this one trip with the truck is all we need and we'll bring it back and sign out of the unit altogether. Linda goes over the details of the truck, hands me the keys and off we go. My wife, my friend and I quickly begin loading the truck so we make sure to get in and out and have the truck back in time for Linda. While I'm in the unit sorting through boxes, an employee named Craig, rudely approached my wife and friend and told them that they couldn't use the truck and without an explanation left. 2 minutes later, Linda comes back to our unit and is very adamant that we can NOT use the truck to move our belongings and that THE TRUCK IS ONLY USED TO MOVE IN TO THE STORAGE UNIT. After a brief moment of confusion I go over all of the previous conversations I've had with Linda, and she completely goes back on everything she told me initially. Then she started lying to get herself out of it saying that I had just said I would only briefly use the truck so I could move ONE piece of big furniture and that was it, not my whole apartment. My wife and friend were in the office during this conversation and at this point we all realized Linda had gotten caught saying and doing things that she wasn't supposed to say/do and a full blown argument ensued. As we were arguing, I was still loading items into the half packed truck and she told me if I continued, she would call the police. We ended up unpacking the truck and leaving everything outside, going down the street to rent a U-haul for $60 and then we were packed and out of the storage unit by 5PM. On my way out I asked for a receipt to prove that I was no longer using the unit and that everything was as it should be. Linda stated that they don't give receipts. I told her based on her lies that I did not trust a word she said and I wouldn't leave until she signed something stating the I had moved out of the unit. At any point during our conversations had Linda said "No, the truck is only to MOVE-IN TO THE STORAGE UNIT", I would have done just that instead of driving back and forth with carloads of stuff 12 times. Gee Linda, since I was so memorable to you, wouldn't it have been nice if when you saw me moving stuff in with my car to say "hey didn't you sign up to use the truck to "move-in"?" Waste of time and money. read more

Place is awesome! Customer service is spectacular! Didn't expect to get amazing customer service at a storage unit place. Jason was awesome!

DON'T EVER GO HERE!! Two weeks ago a car drove through the unit next to ours and created a massive hole in the side of our unit. The night this happened it poured and the manager refused to cover our units in a timely manner and even lied about it. Our storage has not been secured for two weeks and nothing has been done. Not to mention when we have called to speak to management...they hung up on us. If you value your storage, do not use this facility!!! read more

Rented a unit for 6 months while deployed, really impressed and had great experience. Staff went above and beyond to help and really cared about my needs. They Let you borrow a truck for free during business hours, and move out was simple. Staff were all nice and courteous, and seemed to actually care. Manager/staff walking property during every time I visited, and stopped and always waved or said hi. Managers live on property, and are aware of what's going on. Good security system/ keypad entry also. I'd go back if I needed to store things again. read more

After searching many places I would like to say that "Security Self Storage" tops the competition. It is by far the most cheapest place in town offering great deals and prices for anyone seeking storage space. The staff is also very helpful. They are all around friendly, courteous and answered all my questions. I wanted to take this time to thank Mr. Max Anderson "Manager" he was very professional, kind, and took the time to make sure I was happy with my unit. I also liked the fact that they provided a free moving truck to handle my moving needs to my unit. Max was very kind in explaining everything I need to have at hand to borrow the truck and I liked the fact that on moving day I was driving away in less than 10 minutes. Once again thank you Mr. Max and staff you guys are awesome. I have already been recommending all my friends to you. On a final note I highly recommend this place no one else compares.
