Gave 1 star because I can't give zero stars. Masters at wasting your time!! They pro-rate charged me for services when I first signed with them, but did not pick up for 3 weeks. I have been trying to get a credit for 4 months. Their tactic is to say they will call back, but never do so. Unprofessional, rude, & zero customer service from the administration staff. I left a bad review on their site (which of course isn't seen as they have the site set to only show 5 stars). They reached out asking for details which I submitted, but they ignored that, too. I will be leaving this company on the 1st day that I am legally out of this contract. Pitiful service. I left a negative review on their website. They reached out by email saying someone from the local office would contact me, but no one did. Months later I left another negative review on Google. Same response...a standard format email saying someone would contact me, but no contact. They are not going to contact me. Their entire customer service platform is to ignore the problem & hope it goes away. I have stopped trying to get a resolution as they are not interested in resolving my issue. I will continue to find platforms to warn the public, however, with my reviews. read more

They have it half right... "WASTE" We all have the big green cans, right? larger than life. Stevie Wonder could spot these things on the side of the street. yet 2 times every month they pass it on by. either these guys are smoking crack or hi on something else because there's no way to miss these cans sitting at the curb. it's not every week but come on people it's RIGHT THERE! We just moved here from Tampa last month and I'll tell you what those guys never missed a pickup in the 12 years we were there. Every time we call waste pro to tell them what happened, we get that big OH WERE SO SORRY let me get someone over there. well guess what waste pro you had somebody here and they do the same crap twice a month almost like clockwork. Like others mentioned reviewing a garbage company unfortunately yes. We have two services in Deltona on Monday s trash pickup and on Tuesdays brush pick up. This review is about the crew that does the brush pickup. On Tuesday I had one small bundle of brush next to the street and my neighbor who is an elderly widow had three palm leaves which I picked up and dragged over next to my pile to make it easier for the trash collector. I did have a neat stacked bundle but it wasn't tied with string. I used to tie it but my neighbors told me a couple years back that it wasn't necessary just to stack in small neat bundles. I never had any issues with my brush being picked up. Anyway our brush wasn't picked up and I figured when the truck went by in the late afternoon that it was full and they would pick it up later. Today when I got up I saw that it was still by the street. Again I figured they would be by to pick it up. Finally while working on the AC on top of my RV I saw the truck come by. Due to being on top of my truck I didn't go and offer help to pick it up. After a few minutes the truck drove off and I assume it was picked up. When I got down from my vehicle I went to look to see if they left anything and saw it was all there even my neighbors palm leaves. I saw a note on the stack and read that it wasn't picked up because it needed to be tied. I called customer service and the nice lady on the phone and told her my story. She said Deltona requires it to have string around the bundle. I told her I would do it now if she could let the driver know. She said she couldn't do it. While talking to customer service the truck actually pass by but the driver turned his head so he wouldn't see me waving. Another part of the story palm leaves are not required to be tied and he didn't even pick up my neighbors brush. Well the bundles are now tied up for next week. Very disappointed. read more

Why am I reviewing a garbage truck company you ask? Because for one, my one year old loves making friends with every single driver that comes through our street and they go out of their way to give him a wave, honk, fist bump or high five each time. We even had one guy let him push the buttons on the side of the truck one day. Thank you for your service and kindness! Even more of a reason to review this company is because they have a hidden gem... a GARBAGE TRUCK MUSEUM! You can log on to the waste pro website and contact them to schedule a private tour to go see TONS of garbage trucks. They had 3 rooms filled with different types of trucks used over the years... some the kids were allowed to climb in and "drive" and push buttons. They also had a scavenger hunt for the kids to participate in as we went through the tour. The guide was friendly and filled us in on lots of garbage truck history and at the end gave a surprise toy truck and coloring book to each child. Thank you waste pro! read more

I'm having trouble with my google account and was unable to scan the QR code. I sent a message earlier but it appears you didn't get it as I'm getting paper requests in my trash receptacle on several occasions. i'm now sending through your website hoping you'll receive it. I am very happy with the service provided by Carey (Driver) and Junet (Helper) on Truck#1664. They never leave trash on the ground when they leave and recycling bins are not thrown around like you see in other areas. They always have a pleasant demeanor, smile, waive and they do such a great job taking care of us. I know how difficult this neighborhood can be ha ha). We have been using Waste Pro for over 20 years. Yesterday they didn't pick up my recycle or my neighbors. They picked up everyone else's recycling in my street except ours and my neighbors. My neighbor called them yesterday and they said they would be out to pick it up. Long story short, I have made numerous phone calls and they still haven't picked up our recycling. I've been very happy with Waste Pro. Roger and Dominick are so friendly. They always wave and watch for cars as I drive by. I've never had an issue. My ONLY Waste Pro issue is that I requested online, a new can, only to be told if it wasn't damaged (it's extremely stained, dirty etc) I can't get one. My neighbor on the other hand, got a replacement just because he asked (no damage to his old can). Please advise. read more

As mentioned by other reviewers, sometimes Waste Pro does not pick up recycling on the scheduled date. This doesn't happen frequently, but it has happened more than once here. It happened to me and a few neighbors this week when Waste Pro inexplicably skipped a section of our neighborhood. I notified Seminole County Solid Waste Management, which submitted a "request" to Waste Pro to return to empty the bins the next day. The next day came and went without any sign of Waste Pro. I followed up with the county, which "escalated" the request, but that also seems to have been ignored since the the bins remained uncollected yet another day. I'll continue to report to the county each until they are, but I expect the bins to remain filled by the curb until the next normal pickup day next week. Hopefully, they'll be collected then. In the meantime, I feel I have to give Waste Pro poor marks for reliability and contract performance, but mainly for failure to address and redress reports of poor performance. read more

Our driver Ketwan and his helper Pedro are fantastic. They come consistently at the same time and are efficient and professional. Not only that but they are two very kind and truly amazing gentlemen. They will often bring our recycle bins into our garage if we are out there when they come, saving us some time and effort. When they don't bring the bins into the garage, they put them down right where they found them. In the past, we had the men place the bins on the lawn which ultimately led to the grass becomIng damaged. We are truly grateful and appreciative to have them. read more

Manny and Don from truck 133095 are amazing. First and foremost, I was military and I have moved many times. I've dealt with countless trash service ranging from amazing to terrible. They are as good as it comes. I cross paths with them leaving for work almost every trash day and they are friendly as can be. Not only that but we do a lot of animal rehab and care and our trash can be... interesting. Between animal food and substrate we have a lot. They never complain and they are so, so kind. A company with an exclusive contract for the City of Sanford that they probably got out of political corruption that uses their monopoly within the city to provide poor service to the public and take no responsibility when they don't follow their own rules. The city should really kick this sad excuse of a company to the curb and get something better. It's 2020, almost all other companies have evolved and operate in a way that is both efficient and consumer friendly, not Waste Pro. They would rather do what they want, when they want, and how they want. We can and should have a better company serving our public waste management around the city. One that doesn't show up whenever they want to collect garbage and one that doesn't spill litter everywhere because they carry containers sideways. One could hope that we could find a business that would passionately serve our community, right? The Waste Pro attitude is "We're good enough, no need to improve and better serve people. Let's just shoot down every idea and get defensive when someone criticizes us." No way should a company like this be in charge of an important community role. They're horrible. read more

Waste Pro Garbage truck keeps running into our stucco wall at the entrance to our subdivision, we have paid to fix it a half a dozen times. He clips it with the back of his truck almost every week. The company won't do anything about it, say we need to have it on camera. I wish the City of Casselberry would re evaluate who they contract with. Maybe we should put some spikes there so it blows out his tires when he hits it. read more

Be careful...this place will rip you off. They overcharged for a container of yard waste stating that it weighed much more than it possibly could have and refused to budge even after several landscape companies agreed that the weight they recorded couldn't possibly be accurate. Update: After a 6 month ordeal of getting nowhere (no one at Wastepro seemed to have enough common sense to realize that the weight they reported couldn't possibly be correct), I finally wrote to the VP of WastePro in the southeast. He determined that the weight of the truck wasn't subtracted when the container was weighed and sent me a refund of $600. On one hand I'm thrilled that I finally got through to someone with some sense, but it shouldn't have been this difficult of a process. read more
