THE WORST SERVICE EVER! They dropped our piano off the back of the truck and couldn't lift it back up by themselves. This company - MANAGER CHARLES - dropped my wife's 100 year old heirloom piano off of the back of their truck. When we called to schedule the house move - CHARLES promised that they move pianos all the time. We have a regular piano mover that we typically use - but we were assured there would be no need to hire two sets of movers since we were moving the rest of our furniture too. My wife reiterated on the initial phone call, "this piano is like my 4th child. If you're not confident then please let me know, I'm happy to have our normal guy out." The reply - by CHARLES - was that they do it all the time. They DROPPED OUR PIANO OFF THE BACK OF THE TRUCK! I have video of CHARLES talking over my wife, who was in tears, that we were notified in writing ahead of time that this could happen, and while he couldn't confirm which piano we had - because he WOULDN'T come to the site - and because it is a century old hand crafted piece - he would pay 60 cents per pound for it to be repaired - up to 450lbs. UNBELIEVABLE! I asked him to come to the site to verify the damage - get a quote from my trusted piano repair man - and then I would pay the difference towards the move. More than fair in my opinion as a business owner myself. He replied, "I'm not coming out there. If you don't pay... I'll file suit." NEVER EVER EVER use this company. Used four COWS (containers on wheels), they stored them for 2-4 weeks before moving in to our new house since closing of new house was delayed while old house closing was not. I utilized their labor to pack up all heavy furniture and the old house and unload 3 of the four containers upon arrival at the new house. Considering the jumping through hoops and having to store the containers, the costs were contained and the reliability, service, and cost were very good. Hired 3 guys on 1/27 to help me unload a truck from out of town.These movers were fast, friendly, and professional. They were generous with regard to the start time and even offered to help me set up beds when they were done unloading well before the 2 hour minimum was over. There were some crazy angles in my house and they carefully navigated everything with no damage. I was beyond impressed with the care that they took to not damage our personal items or the property itself. I wish I could give 1000 stars. I inquired with four different moving companies to move some furniture for us. They were the first ones to call me back and immediately sent a quote to my email when we got off the phone. I was able to book their services via email with ease. They gave me an arrival time between 8-9am so having dealt with other companies in the past I assumed I'd be sitting around till 9. Nope. They called me exactly at 8am and told me they'd be there in 10 minutes and then there they were right on time! Ryan and Jose were so funny and nice and really paid attention to make sure everything was moved safely out and properly secured within the truck. They even moved some heavy non-furniture items I sprung on them without question or complaint. I can't rave enough about their services and am so happy to have used them! Quick review on the QUOTE portion of the process only. I gave these guys a call to get a quote for a Sanford to Deland small quantity move (bed frame, Tempurpedic mattress). My call was answered by a VERY pleasant guy. asked if he could call me back in less than five mins and apologized for the wait. I received a call back within five mins. Awesome. It's the little things like this which make a difference in customer service. Unfortunately for me these guys have a minimum time/cost for the move, but I kinda expected that. I'm still giving these guys a high rating for the front side, pre-move portion: -courteous -timely call back -pleasant -answered all my questions -website (nice that they have one) Now it's back to trying to find a small local mover... Charles and Joe with AAA Insta-Move have been nothing short of amazing for us during our move. They are incredibly responsive, and great communicators (I called often!). They took care of our needs in a timely manner and Joe called each time when he was on his way with our 3 COWS (Container on wheels, same concept as a POD). We had one COW for about 8 months & two others for a month's time. Being in Fl, we were concerned about the what ifs; what if there were bugs, what if furniture got warped from weather conditions & what if items moved in transport and got damaged. I assure you, that with the exception of one carpenter ant none of those things happened. We were incredibly happy with the service and product. The guys were a pleasure to work with during a very stressful time of moving. They were more than accommodating, even delivering us a COW at 8:30 PM on Memorial Day. The clock started only after all fees (previously explained and agreed to when appt was made) were re-confirmed. Worst moving service ever. Took way too long to get my stuff out of storage. They priced me 700 for coming out one day and not doing any work they knew I would be late and asked for afternoon. ******MOVING MADE EASY******NO GIMMICKS, I reached out to 2 other moving companies to get quotes prior to finding AAA Insta-Move. Since these are my words, I will tell it like it is. The other two companies: Two Men and a Truck and All My Sons BOTH had a story-line you could tell they were trying to sell you something rather than provide a service. Starting out with the "Once Upon a Time..." lines, about how their licensed and bonded...blah blah blah... everyone is drug and background checked.. Well, I knew that was a flat out lie because I know of people that work for them and that is the total opposite. Anyhow, those misguided "truths" along with the exorbitant pricing and hiding fees drove me right to AAA Insta Move. I thank the Lord they did me a favour. Ryan and Terrance were DYNAMIC to say the least. Most People don't know what you're going through out of life and what type of move your making but this company gets it! HANDS DOWN! Though the 3 guys came on time and set up and dismantled the furniture and beds it seemed like they didn't have any pep in their step. They were sluggish and they did not move everything that needed to be moved. They left my water cooler. It took them 9 1/2 hours to move a 3 bedroom house filled with things and they didn't even move everything upstairs. My brother in-law came over to help the last 2 hours because they were just taking too long. It would have taken them 12+ hours if we had them put the things away. Will not use them again. The company is paid by the hour, yet these guys were doing things in our best interest. They were very careful with our belongings. They knew how to wrap things and stack things. They made the most of my storage unit as well! I was so impressed I had to do a review on Yelp! They also refused to pick up their phones while on my job, even though it was another job opportunity calling that these guys need to get first come first serve....My move was the priority! Booking our move was a breeze. I was quoted by phone, the move was confirmed by email. The company also called the day before to confirm our move. The two men arrived on time. While the guys were friendly, they broke multiple items (bed, table, cabinet that went in bathroom), gouged my front door and when I called to see how the issues could be resolved, I was given a claim form that requires original receipts for broken items which I no longer have for those items. I used this company to move from one apartment to another. They finished the move in 2 1/2 hours which included disassembling and reassembling my bed, taking heavy items to the dumpster for and the approximately 20 mile drive between the two apartment complexes. They arrived early, went over the contract, billing, etc. They were very professional and courteous. Joe and Lewis were my movers and I booked everything with Stanley. Stanley was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. They are also one of the few companies that does not charge a travel fee or for the time it takes for them to get to the location you are moving from. They also have a reasonable hourly rate. I would definitely recommend them and would be happy to use them again. Moving is stressful enough so it was wonderful using a company that performed so well. Great company! read more

We moved from a two story home in Orlando to a small one level in Lakeland. What could have been very stressful was a piece of cake. The two movers were extremely careful, capable, and caring. Not one item was even slightly damaged nor were any walls ever even bumped. Even more impressive was the good natured attitude and pleasant conversation throughout. Filed claim per their instructions, on their form, included pictures. 90 days later and it is still not resolved. Every time we call the office, we get the run-around. This is the worst moving company I hired. The team was disrespectful, unprofessional, lazy, cared more about smoking than moving your things, and I had nothing but complaints the entire time. The first thing they did was quote me a price and then tried to charge me more. After getting that issue straightened out they proceeded with the move. The men did not always exercise good judgment during the process and caused damage to 2 refrigerators needlessly. They tried to force them through an opening that was too small. They were to lazy to go to the back door where the opening was wide enough. They concealed damage done to the grandfather clock, and trunk. They did not wrap the bedding and put there sweaty dirty faces, heads and bodies against the bedding. Gross, nasty and hardly professional. To make matters worse they drug my clean white bedding across the dirty ground. Hard to believe isn't it. I have given them every opportunity to step up and correct the situation. I am tired of communicating with them. They don't even apologize for what they put you through. They have offered a settlement for less than half of the repairs and claim they are protected by there contract and insurance requirements. I made no insurance claims as it wasn't accidental it was negligent care of my property. You may want to consider alternate companies for your moving needs. read more

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from AAA Insta-Move. They were the first ones to provide me with a quote. I couldn't decide if they were really that good or if maybe they had such a lack of business that they had an abundance of time on their hands, so I waited until all of the quotes came in. Theirs was the lowest quote which also made me suspect that I would get the old bait and switch routine. In an attempt to avoid this, I provided a list of every item to be moved. They adjusted their quote slightly but were still the lowest of all the companies. I was overwhelmed with who to go with since I received so many quotes, so I decided to go with the company that was most local. I am so grateful that I did. Nelson and Jose arrived right on time, worked efficiently and carefully, and didn't try to sell me any extra packing that I didn't need. They never took a break, loaded a huge amount of large pieces of furniture and even some extra pieces that weren't on the list. They did not damage any of my property. They were friendly and worked from 9 in the morning until 9:30 at night (including the drive) without getting grumpy for even a minute. They worked for a total of 8 hours loading and unloading without ever slowing down. I never thought it could all be done in one day. They took apart and put back together my beds, china cabinets, dressers with mirrors, etc. in an expert fashion. They weren't enormous brutes, but they had the right equipment and they knew how to use it. They didn't grumble when it started to rain, they allowed me to go into their truck and wipe my furniture dry always saying, "excuse me" when I got in THEIR way! They had to move furniture from my house into my rental house to make room for furniture to go from the move out house into my house which I never warned them about and they did it cheerfully. I never thought they were going to be able to fit that quantity of furniture into their medium sized truck, but they had room to spare. They are packing geniuses! Despite the extra furniture and the shuffling of extra furniture from one house to another at the drop off location, they still came in right at their estimated quote. I am simply amazed and wouldn't consider EVER using another company for my moving needs. If you don't go with them, your making a mistake. read more

Dealing with Stan S. at the office to book the move was very pleasant. He was a good listener, and answered all of my questions honestly and efficiently. Their prices are very competitive, and frankly, I booked the move because I liked dealing with Stan. However, the actual movers I was sent the day of the move (Joe & Matt) were a different story. They arrived 30 mins late for a 1st move of the day and I had to rearrange the schedule for friends who were coming to help. After I explained I had a 40-year-old bedroom set which had to be handled nicely, one of the men broke a drawer. That was in the first 5 mins. (It was glued back together and seemed ok but I was not happy about it.) Then I had to convince them that breaking down my platform bed in steps was the way to do it - they said they knew how to do it, and their way was to simply cart it out in one piece which would have broken the base where the drawers fit. After that I watched them and their attitude was not very friendly. At one point, after not seeing either men for almost 10 mins during the unload, I found both men in the truck - one laying down on top of my dresser with his feet on my furniture, talking on the cell phone, and the other chit-chatting on his phone. They both jumped up when I asked what was going on! I did not like having to tell them to go back to work and reminded them I was paying by the hour. I spoke to the owner, Charlie, and explained what happened. I hope that he'll consider training his movers to be better professionals, to understand that the person moving is already under a lot of stress, and know that they need to be sensitive to that, and not create more tension. read more
