The staff was absolutely amazing and friendly--they made me feel comfortable (I've never needed to see an eye doctor before). Dr. Malof was able to remove the debris from my eye quickly and painlessly. Hopefully I don't need glasses in the near future, but if I ever do I'm definitely going here!

The process takes time to be able to access the patient's insurance, verify benefits etc. For that reason, eyecare professionals, expressly, optometric experts, require insurances in advance so that the process doesn't interfere with their patient flow. I know I hate to be held up for my appointment because someone was ill prepared for theirs. Insurance should have been taken and given when the appointment was made. I always have my insurance cards at hand when making any medical or vision appointments. That being said, I have never encountered any lack of professionalism at this location. They do their jobs well and are very friendly. Sounds to me like the patient that complained was having a bad day and has a bad attitude. Furthermore, I thought it was a nice touch that Clarkson threw their own staff under the bus with their response. Shameful!!! Maybe the higher ups do not know what roles their own callcenter, precertification, and offices play. I also find it interesting that five star reviews for the Milford Clarkson are hidden and not counted in their scoring. I found at least one that was They get five stars in my book, even if yelp hides it!

Since I respect his opinions I went in to their Eastgate Mall optometry inside Lenscrafters and really enjoyed my whole eye care experience. They were friendly and professional and after going through a painless eye exam I was given an overall outlook about the health of my eyes as well as getting some great advice on which eyeglasses would fit me best. They have a very nice clinic and the atmosphere there is great, really friendly and courteous. Their prices are reasonable and I got out with 2 pairs of eyeglasses instead of one. Dr…read more Maryam Naqvi performed routine cataract surgery on my husband in May, 2025 at the Kenwood office. It was anything but routine, as she inserted another patient's lens into his eye, which was discovered during his 1week follow-up visit. She completed the replacement procedure for the wrong lens, but his cornea was scratched & iris torn during the process. A Midwest Eye Center Director performed emergency surgery later that day to avoid infection of the eye; and was under the Director's care for the next few weeks to monitor his eye healing. My husband is currently under care with different eye specialists as he slowly recovers. As Dr. Naqvi smiles confidently from the front cover of Cincinnati Magazine's 'Cincinnati Top Doctors' and on its pages. One has to wonder how she can be deemed "the best" having compromised her patient's well-being through a poorly mismanaged process of care.
