I will never come here again for an appointment. The ladies at reception were great and the woman who ultimately helped me with choosing my frames was a doll - loved her - but the Dr. was shockingly rude. I chose not to be dilated because I had no one to drive me home after the appointment, and he said to me in a bizarre manner, "Next time, I WILL dilate you." I asked, "Why is that?" Do not go here! Yesterday I tried to stop by before work and order more of my regular contacts. Quick and easy, right? I have only been here one other time to get glasses and it went smoothly. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk and a lady sitting at one of the eyeglass stations waved me over. I told her I needed to get more contacts and she started typing on her computer without even saying hello or asking me for any of my information. I recently got new insurance so I pulled up that information for her on my phone and told her what it was. STILL without saying ANYTHING the lady just grabs my phone and takes it with her to the front desk. She makes no gesture for me to follow her and still says nothing so I just stayed sitting at the eyeglass station. Five to ten minutes later an older gentleman comes to her aid and they are obviously both confused and they keep asking each other questions. Still no one had communicated anything to me so I just walked over to the front desk to see what they are doing(The woman still has my phone too). Neither of them even look at me or say a word. For five ish minutes I just try and observe what they are doing because its taking much longer than I expected it to at this point. The lady finally gave me my phone back. They printed out a couple of papers that I assumed were for me and when I glanced at them, they had MY birthday and the name GRACE WALTERS. They hadn't even asked me my name still??? I said "does that say Grace?" And the gentleman looked at me for the first time and said "yeah grace". I had to explain to them my name was not Grace and this seemed to confuse them. Without STILL asking me any questions about myself or telling me what they were doing, they just keep typing on the computer. I finally call my mother because she takes care of my insurance and when I tried to give the gentleman the phone he didnt even look at me or the phone and acted like I didnt exist. I put my mom on speaker and they told her that they cannot bill me if they cannot find me in the system. My mother asked how they could not find me since I gave them my insurance number and everything else. They said they were just looking up my last name and they could not find me. My mom said "well look up the insurance number", and the gentleman said "We're gonna try that". At this point I was frustrated and on track to be late for work, so I stepped out side to talk to my mother for a quick minute. I told them both I would be right back. I walked back inside and the gentleman and lady had stopped whatever they were doing on the computer and were both just staring off into the distance. Neither even looked at me when I walked back in. I told them I was going to take a different route to get contacts and I said thank you. Neither of them said a word they just stared. It was so weird. I've never had an interaction like this in my life, especially with employees of healthcare. I still don't understand how it was so difficult for me to reorder contacts for an existing prescription it should have been a 10 minute ordeal. And the lack of hospitality at this place is sad. Thinking back, I do not think that either of the times I have been to this establishment, I've even been smiled at by anyone. Very cold environment. Will not be returning. read more

I had an appointment schedule for a week and a very cold sounding woman called 3 hours before my appointment and said we have to reschedule your appointment. I just hung up on her my time is just as valuable as the eye doctor. Terrible service! read more

UPDATE: The Dr called me himself and we worked it all out. I'm happy with the outcome but it could have been much better with better communication from the front office to the doctor. Robyn at the front desk was very nice when I came back in. So this is the hard thing with moving from one state to another. Having to find all new doctors and going through the pains of finding one that it is sympathetic, professional, and understanding of the patients needs as well as all members of the staff being on the same page. At this time, I'm Not very happy with the service. We wanted to stay with an existing prescription brand and the doctor wanted to switch to a different one. We agreed at first as they gave her five days of a trial before we ordered but now we want to go back to our original brand and having a very hard time getting the prescription changed since they did not issue the original prescription but I did give him a copy of it from our previous doctor. They want her to come back for a recheck but she's already gone back to college so she won't be able to come for an appointment until School gets out in May. Which is why I was trying to get all of this done early last week before she left yesterday. And she needs her new prescription since it changed and her vision got worse. Otherwise we would just order the same prescription we had before. Will update with new information as this gets resolved or not. But at this point this is why I'm giving one star. read more

I do not recommend this business. They billed the incorrect insurance after I explained several times which insurance should be billed. My insurance has a contact lens allowance of $250 but they only gave me an allowance of $124.80. I called my Insurance company to make sure my allowance had not changed and the insurance confirmed it was still $250. I was told I would receive a call back from MyEyeDoctor with the corrected billing information. After waiting a day and a half, I called the office. The first person I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said yes. When the manager got on the phone she explained that she credited my insurance account part of the overcharge but couldn't credit my bank card with the rest. She said corporate would be sending me a check. When I told how unhappy I was with the whole situation starting with them losing my internet appointment and finishing up with overcharging me she got very rude. This person clearly does not deal well with customer service. She told me she didn't have to deal with me anymore and then hung up. Please go somewhere else where they treat customers with courtesy when they question something. read more
