Terrible ,terrible ,terrible service. I am so unhappy with their service and not helping us the proper way. My daughter went for her eye exam. They charged her way too much money for her lenses. We tried to cancel. They wouldn't cancel the order even though we did call 20 minutes after she went(she went for her appointment by herself) so horrible horrible service ,she said the nurse was very rude to her and I have nothing but bad to say about them, and I'm very disappointed. We're still waiting for our money to be refunded and it's not a little amount. It's a big amount I would not recommended anyone to go there. Everyone at MyEyeDr was extremely helpful, from reception, to the young lady doing the pre-exam tests, to the optometrist who did the actual exam. But I have to give extra thanks to Holly who helped me find frames for my new prescription reading glasses. She is very knowledgeable and friendly, and made the entire process a breeze. I spoke to the manager regarding a concern about my daughter's treatment and she was extremely rude and disrespectful. I went to My eye doctor on Elm St in Manchester N H To get an eye exam, The exam went well. I ordered glasses to help with my long range vision and close up vision. When I go my glasses the close up vision did not work. I went back to get it corrected. I was told it would be another 75 dollars. I went in to pick up my glasses and when I put them on it was as if they were just pulled from the rack - They were blurry as can be like when I tried them on. The frames were even too big - like when I tried them on. Normally they should have checked the strength - I don't believe he did, the lenses where also supposed to be ultra-thin _ they were not - He was also too quick in asking if I wanted my money back - Something was so fishy there. I chose another frame which was cheaper (wasn't given a credit). All he did was put a dot on the lenses again as they are progressive lenses and said they would be ready in 14 days. When I pick them up, I am definitely going to request someone else to help me try them on. This time they better be right! I only give it a 2 because the other staff were very friendly. I have had multiple problems with this place. Kept going because they were covienen. When into get bifocals guy helping me said I should consider progressives. He went on to talk about progressives have a wider field of vision,etc. Talked about his glasses were progressives. I agreed to it based on the quote he gave me. Went to pick them up and was seen by same guy. The lenses were not progressives but bifocals. I said i agreed to progressives he just says they would cost a lot more. No knowledge of our previous discussion. On top of this I have updated my phone and email with them 4 times. I only knew my glasses were ready be cause I checked an old email account. read more

I've come to this location for contacts for the last few years and had good experiences, but after attempting to buy glasses I will not return here. The appointments run a little slow, but no big deal. I got my eyes measured and ordered frames/glasses last month. When the glasses arrived they had very noticeable markings on the lenses, right in my line of sight (see picture). I brought them back here and an eyewear technician said he'd never seen anything like that, but it was likely because they were uncoated. He offered to get them remade with a coating, which I would pay extra for. I declined because the lenses were faulty, and I don't wear my glasses frequently enough to warrant paying extra for that. I then spoke with the manager, Anita, who gave me the same story about needing to get the glasses coated (which I would pay for). She said that because my insurance required use of a specific lab, glasses I buy anywhere would end up with the same markings. She was very insistent upon the fact that I would not get "unmarked" glasses anywhere. Well, I returned those and instead ordered through my insurance company. The new glasses, which are still uncoated, are perfect (and less than half the cost). Beware of these uninformed people trying to upsell you and give inferior products. read more

I have never been asked to sign a waiver when having new lenses placed into existing frames. The day after my appointment they called and asked me to sign a waiver. I hesitated, but I thought their only job is to make lenses and put them in frames. Two days later they called to tell me they broke my $300 frames. Instead of replacing them, they're offering me 50 percent off a pair of their own frames. It's beyond idiotic. Or maybe it's a business strategy. Maybe these chuckleheads deliberately break frames to make sales. DO NOT GO TO MY EYE DR. Do not trust their labs. read more

I should have known better the second they called to confirm my appointment. Over the phone the reception stated what the possible cost of my appointment was going to be. Who discusses payment before you even come in. When she stated how much, I was like wow how that's higher than normal. This is when her attitude kicked in and was like well it's an eye appointment like I was the idiot... Fast forward to my appointment. Check in seemed well and fine waited for maybe 5-10 minutes. A girl came and got me did my initial eye checks, put me in a room and said the doctor would be in at some point. When she said at some point kind of thought back at What do you mean at some point. Waited in the room for probably 15 minutes doctor comes in looks at me and goes oh you're not who I thought you were and left the room. The girl then came back and took me out to the lobby. I should have prefaced this with they had another woman leave her room to go sit in the lobby. So now I'm in the lobby for another 5 minutes and she comes back and puts me in another room. I'm in there for probably another 5 minutes The doctor finally comes in and when he's in he tells me he's probably going to get interrupted to go deal with something else. I'm very pleasant through my whole visit but internally I am annoyed. My visit seems to take forever The office seemed to be chaotic and unorganized. Then when I get home I look at my prescription I noticed it's very similar if not the same as 4 years ago but as of 2 years ago it had changed from 4 years ago (I know confusing). The point of this is I called the office to speak with the doctor Not the receptionist who had no idea she even worked at an eye doctor. Back and forth conversation on three different phone calls got me absolutely nowhere they refuse to let me talk to a doctor. I'm still unsure if my prescription is correct. I don't know if it's just this location or what because I've been going to these people at different locations and I haven't had any problem. do not go..my 1st appt.i was 9 minutes late,due to an accident blocking their driveway..i was informed i missed my appt..after contacting my insurance,i got a call from a manager urging me to reschedule..i conceded,but should not have.appt.#2 ,i arrived at 3pm..i was shown in within 5 minutes...i was then left in the exam room alone until 4:15..unacceptable..i was loud and irate and was totally justified for my actions...these people think their time is more important than yours..try concord eye read more

Dropped a pair of my sons glasses for repair on 3/18. They were purchased here last than 6 mo ago. Was told to expect them back in 10 days. As of 4/5 I was told that they had become lost somewhere in the process. Ok, things happen. Where I was scratching my head is that I was told that the warranty on the glasses only covers 50% of the loss. EVEN THOUGH THEY LOST THEM. After much debate they did agree to cover the entire loss, but customers beware...this is their policy. I spoke to the main number and it was confirmed. Lesson...never drop your glasses here for repairs. If they lose them you eat the cost. Not sure how that is even legal, they don't assume liability while they are in possession of your glasses. horrible!!! I went for the exam and the Dr was nice. I picked up my glasses and the frame broke after two weeks. The tech tried to get the lenses in a new frame and they didn't fit. she had to send them out for a new pair to be made, she taped my frame together but it didn't last. She tried. I go to pick up my glasses today and they want the old ones back. I don't have them. They're broken. I would need to repay for the glasses. when I asked what they were going to do with them, just throw them away? she said probably send them back to the lab. yeah just in case someone with my prescription and frame taste is the same‍. Never again! Come to find out they are the same people under a new company name that I was not pleased with a few years ago in Merrimack( an hour late without telling me and upselling frames without even knowing if I needed a prescription) I asked for a printout and my prescription. my credit card company is on it. read more

My doctor appointment went well and that's where any actual customer service went away. I ordered contacts and told the person "helping" me that I was looking for new glasses as well. I was pointed to where the men's glasses were, she never got up. After looking at and trying on numerous frames with no assistance I decided on Oakley frames and proceeded with my order. After agreeing to over a $900.00 retail set of frames and lenses I was told it would be about 2 weeks to receive my new glasses. A little over 2 weeks later I received a voicemail that my glasses were in. I showed up to pick them up, was handed a case and told thank you. Nobody offered any help with fitment or even inspection of my new glasses. The glasses were never even cleaned. The sticky adhesive residue from the price tag was still on the left arm. I would recommend the doctor but I had much better service at Walmart when I purchased my previous pair of glasses that were less than 1/4 the amount of money(the obviously weren't Oakley) these cost. The 2 star rating is because the doctor and his assistant were very good but I don't think he's with them any longer. read more
