It had been years since I was there, and even then, I had only been once every two years or so. It was really nice to be put at ease with a courteous, personal and kind staff. The paperwork was just one double sided piece of paper, the wait was short and the exam itself moved quickly. My eyes aren't very bad at all, and so maybe other's experience will be different, but in under 30 minutes I was in and out with new contacts and an updated prescription. Also, the team there is 100% honest. Each procedure was clearly explained to me, and the fees associated with things my insurance would not cover was discussed before getting any work done. So not like they don't tell you lies honest, but they genuinely took the time to explain each procedure and not up-charge me just because I'm ignorant to the medical world of eyes. I typically go the cheap Chinese direct glasses (because I break a pair every 3 months or so) - but when I had them in the past, I was able to get my glasses that same day. I'm sure depending on your prescription and frame choice - that's not always going to be the case, but they are on top of their stuff, and as quickly as it can be done - it is. Anyways - I would never think to go anywhere else to have my eyes checked out as I actually look forward to the friendly staff here.

I especially appreciated that she was transparent about what costs I could potentially expect based on my appointment. I was seen less than 5 minutes of waiting, right on time for my 6:15pm appointment (love that they offer evening appointments on Thursdays). I was "triaged" by a woman whose name I didn't catch but she was also just as friendly and professional. The equipment used to measure my eyes was all wiped down by the woman right before use, which was very comforting to know it was properly sanitized. The rest of my appointment with Dr. P was absolutely phenomenal. She was thorough with my routine eye exam, very good at explaining everything to me slowly and so I could understand, and she showed empathy and patience throughout the appointment. All the staff worked to pull strings to get me in right then and there. The DO I had was very nice and informative, listened to what I had to say and showed me some cool stuff (the base of my brain) as well. Then I met Jamie the Branch Manager. First of all she is a saint! The fact that she was patient as I tried on about 50 pairs of frames before we finally found the right ones (pair number 49). She made me feel like I was the only customer of the day, took in account my dislikes and likes (even I admit some are absolutely ridiculous) and found me the perfect pair. Then we got to the pricing. I already knew what my Co-Pay was with insurance ($60) but was not expecting how amazing the price for a year supply of contacts and a pair of glasses. After all the discounts I walked out only paying $610.78. I was expecting to pay at least a grand! Working with Jamie was like talking to an old friend! It was just a great experience and I will not go anywhere else! I 100% recommend for all your eye care needs!

I left Concord Eye Care a few years ago because the office is so hard to work with. I had to wait…read morean hour for appointments and it was near impossible to get through to the front desk. I returned recently because my insurance plan left me no other option in Concord. It's worse. While all my other medical providers have an online option to reschedule or communicate with the team, Concord Eye Care puts on you hold for sometimes more than 5 minutes. If you get lucky, the call does not get dropped. Checking in for an appointment is no better. The line is usually four or five people deep and moves so slowly because the front desk seems to have to print out multiple forms and re-ask a dozen questions each time you visit, even when its been a month between appointments. My doctor there - Dr. Gould - is fantastic but I'm not sure I can put up with the hassle of seeing her.
