I don't know how I'm the first person to add/review this business on Yelp considering where and how…read moreI stumbled across Dave. I was coming out of one of the Cisco buildings in RTP and saw Dave waiting to return car keys to somebody in the building. I was in a bit of a hurry so I couldn't chat long but I asked for a card. The next day I hopped online and did what you're probably doing... research. I was surprised that I couldn't find any reviews since he has a comment section on his website and a majority are from tech people. Since I was already on Yelp I called around some of the local brake and auto shops to get an idea of what this was going to cost. I knew I needed new brakes and some rotor work because of the pulsing when braking. I then filled out the quote request form on Dave's site and was contacted later that night. His price was very competitive and considering the convenience factor I decided to give it a shot. Dave showed up around noon on the day we had agreed on and I met him in the parking lot to give him my key fob. I won't lie, it was a little unnerving giving a stranger my key but that's part of the deal. Fast forward a few hours and Dave called me to let me know that my car was done and to come down to get my key. I was expecting the price to be a little higher than what he quoted since that seems to be standard practice in this industry but it wasn't! After paying, I headed to my car and the first thing I noticed was that he put my "heat shield" window visor back up after doing my brakes. I know this has nothing to do with a brake job but it does say something about the man doing the job. I waited a week before writing this review to make sure everything was still functioning properly and I still have no complaints. Details: 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe | new brakes and turned the rotors. The brakes also have a lifetime warranty. Give Dave a call. You won't be disappointed.

I went to his shop to pick up my truck and supposedly he fixed it, but when I started to drive back the truck stopped out of nowhere! It almost got me killed. When I went to check on my truck to see what happened, nothing got done! There was no spar-plug or oil change, the fuses never were replaced and an addition to that my truck almost got on fire. He was paid over $700 for his services plus I had to pay $400 to tow it back to my house. He also makes YouTube videos (that don't help at all) for publicity to make money off of the less fortunate. Please do not trust him for the sake of your vehicle and wallet!

He gave me the full range of what I could scrape by with to what he would recommend I do- and didn't apply any pressure when I opted for the scrape by option for my high mileage years old vehicle. He took the time to educate me on what was damaged and what the potential implications would be for choosing to or not to replace/repair. As it was I needed a good chunk of work done, but I was happier paying for that- and felt every dollar was well spent- than I ever have at a mechanic. From a total non-car person (get me where I need to go, and that's all I look for in a car) I felt like I got a great deal and superior service. Chads tutorial on my car and its problems/possible solutions made me confident that even if I were a car person, this was someone I could trust to do the job not only right, but well. Communication was timely and informational, and always came with with estimated costs. And the bill didn't exceed, in fact was less than, those estimated costs. For someone on a budget this was a crucial point. I'll definitely go back.
