As always, she is fabulous!!! Wonderful with color, highlights, root touch-ups, cuts and a blow-dry. She always listens to what I need and want, but also has great ideas and solutions if I am looking to change it up. Ultimately though, it's always up to me--she wants her clients to be happy. She is personable, professional and fun to talk to. I cannot say enough good things about her, and I always feel wonderful when I leave there. I so look forward to my once a month appointments with her. She is the best!!! As for the salon itself, I found it very clean and nicely decorated. It's an upbeat and relaxing atmosphere. The owner seems nice. Of the negative reviews, I can say that the female stylist Nova is no longer there. It's discouraging to read others have had bad experiences but I think the owner has taken some steps to improve the quality of service. I only see Jen, but I have met the owner and seen him working with other clients, both men and women, and it's all been good from what I can tell so I feel comfortable recommending the place. On-street parking can be a bit tricky in this busy little spot, but I have always found something out front or across the street. If you haven't tried this place and are local and looking, give them a try! And book an appointment with Jen!

Without the text, which I'm happy to have anyone go through my phone, I also didn't receive any call that I was running late. I'm always punctual, I always call if I'm even 2 minutes behind. If they had called 5-10 after my appointment, I would have hopped in the car and made it there. Instead, I was charged automatically 25 minutes in while simultaneously getting a you missed an appointment email. The reception claimed the email was the reaching out yet I was Charged that very minute. I'm a loyal customer. I really would appreciate the refund so I can actually get my hair done. I think it's poor service for a receptionist yesterday to tell me to call back this morning and th manger in Norwood to really not care and say she can't do a thing about it. Which is untrue because when my hairs been messed up before by a new stylist , I've been given a redo for free as I looked a tiger one time. I know it's possible but the manager honestly sounded so apathetic and unwilling to even say a call could have been made before charging. I would love for a refund of $88.50 because I genuinely like the hair stylist I've used now for years.

So my wife had made a follow up appointment with the owner to finish her coloring and hair style appointment. 1st error owner doesn't provide a hair book, 2nd error owner doesn't remember what she had done previously, 3rd error owner spent over two hours putting foil on hair 4th error owner starts panicking because the color or what ever she is doing is not working 5th error owner is on phone asking what to do and phone goes on speaker by accident and automatic hangs up then proceed to ask my wife "who dye her hair last, what color did they used" my wife proceeded to tell her that it was her(owner) 6th error owner proceeded to tell my wife "oh your hair is is turning sea green color , let me fix it, oh sorry now it's a blueish gray oh and by the way (I'M GOING TO CHARGE YOU FOR ALL THE COLOR AND FOIL AND CRAP THAT I USED TO FIX/TRY TO FIX MY ERROR) the prices is ($300 for a horrible horrible hair coloring job and not even a hair cut just color) -So by this time after hearing the total price my wife is in shock trying to hold her anger and tears and doesn't know what to say so she pays and leave because she didn't want her hair to fall. -So now I'm in the process of getting the money that she had to over pay for someone else mistake.
