Everyone we meet from O'Boys is very knowledgeable, friendly, honest and efficient. Ray provided us with instruction on the new furnace and thermostat. O'Boys is a relatively new company with great employees, excellent products, and a service-oriented business model that will contribute to their continued success. He had me sign something to pay $250, before he checked what was wrong. He did not have equipment with him, he wanted to use my hose. Then he told me I needed to buy a new air conditioner that he said would cost $7000-10,000, but he is not a sales person. I paid him $250, even though I was told on the phone it would be $79. He ran and got in his truck and did not give a receipt and did not clean up the mess he made. I think he was very dishonest. He said his Dad taught him. It is still very Hot in my house. I had the pleasure to work with Paul Johnston at Stars and Pipes Plumbing to install two new chair…read moreheight toilets for a client who just bought a home. The home owner needed to use a wheel chair and the shorter toilet height was not ideal to use. Paul was very communicative about when he would arrive at the property. He had all the tools and quickly reviewed the job site and started working removing the two toilets. I had bought to new toilets only and I was not sure about if I needed to replace the water angle stop or supply line. He has the parts to do that, but after inspecting the valve and line confirmed we did not need to replace them if I did not want to. He expertly drained the toilet and was able to take it out of the home with no leaking water. Once the toilets were removed, he inspected the toilet ring flange and confirmed if the new toilet would be able to be securely installed. He scraped old caulking from the previous toilets and then started to install the new bolts and wax rings. Once the toilets were placed and tightened down, he checked the fit and if the toilets were "rocking" or not. One toilet did not have a flat surface, so he shimmed it for a solid fit. He didn't just stop there. Then he caulked around the base of the toilet and floor to make sure that any sewer gas would be contained if the wax ring had ever lost its seal. The caulking also made the finished toilet install look professional and finished. He then made sure to test out the toilets with a few flushes to make sure nothing was astray. This may sound like a long description, however I have never seen a plumber be so fast, clean and efficient. I have to say I never thought installing a toilet could be such a pleasant experience and I will definitely call him again for my plumbing needs.

The cost was very reasonable and didn't feel like they were overcharging for their services. This week with the cold snap in MN our furnace was having issues with keeping the house warm. Kevin had it fixed in a couple of hours, the pressure switches also had gotten wet and needed to be replace. Which if we didn't have the best furnace these may have been cheaper but with the pump and switches the price that they billed us was still very reasonable. I know that when we have our A/C unit replaced that I will be calling them to provide the services. They are awesome, come out when called, the work is always good and Kevin is great!

Its past 2pm at this point best case scenario if I don't use your service is I can maybe get another company out the next day. Frankly, its very dishonest. Nobody would use your service if you quoted this price up front. Then on top of it there was zero effort to keep a clean work space in my home.
