I gave them another chance yesterday evening. We were seated quickly, but our order of pan-fried pork buns arrived with a fruit fly stuck to one of the buns. When I pointed this out, the server offered to remake it and brought a new order shortly after. The bigger issue was that the pork filling inside the new batch was almost completely raw. We told them to take it away, left the rest of our noodles, paid, and walked out. Both my boyfriend and I had already taken a bite of the raw meat, which was disgusting, and the whole experience completely ruined our evening. I rarely write reviews, but I am sharing this so other customers can be careful. * When I called the server over after noticing the raw meat, they took the buns away immediately, so I couldn't get a proper photo of the whole dish. I was only able to snap a picture of the piece I had already bitten into--the pinkish parts show where the meat was still raw.

The restaurant is large, with plenty of seating (we came with a party of 8 around dinner time on a weekday). The menu has a variety of options, ranging from pho, lomo saltado, to drinks. I ordered the Lomo Saltado - I thought it was okay overall (but I might not be a fan of this dish in general). The fries were tasty and filling, but the garlic noodles didn't hit the mark for me - I was missing a lot of the garlic flavor. Meat was plentiful, but tough in texture. A lot of my group had leftovers to take home though, so big portions!

They have a wide variety of noodles that are chewy and fresh! The beef itself is very tender and flavorful. Dont get me started on how big the serving size is! I love their appetizers and small dishes like fried tofu, scallion pancake, and beef roll. The service is super friendly and attentive, they give you bibs- great if you are wearing white! I love how you can see your noodles being made thru the kitchen as well.

After that I had a conversation with Sergio and Rocio about the incident with the "chef", Sergio the manager apologized and expressed his discontentment with the way the "chef" had handled the situation. The noodles had a great chewy texture, and the star of the dish was definitely the sauce. It had that classic Vietnamese-Cantonese flavor, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, coating every bite of noodles without being too heavy. The BBQ pork was quite dry, the wontons were generously filled, and the soup on the side was clean and comforting. The steamed wontons with soy sauce were also delicious and packed with flavor. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and everything tasted fresh. I'd happily order this again.

Mind you, they don't close until a few hours later. Went in to order takeout and there were a few dishes we wanted that they didn't have available; oxtail noodle soup and pork knuckle noodle soup. They came to tell us twice for each individual item. We had to opt for other noodle dishes which weren't bad. They were actually good. But not what we went for. Instead we got the beef stew noodle soup for my son which smelled really flavorful and he said was good. I got some sort of Taiwanese noodle soup that was on the front page of the menu that looked good and tasted great as well. It came with a bunch of assorted proteins such as hard boiled egg, tendon, tripe, stewed meats. It was a spicy noodle dish which I loved. I will most likely get it again next time. Their chili oil sate is actually really spicy and has that kick so I appreciated that since most places are not spicy. The portions were also pretty big; each order was good enough for 2 bowls. We enjoyed our noodle soups but still want to go back what we anticipated.
