This review is for the brazilian wax. You and I should know by now that a threading place is not the place to go to for a brazilian. I've learned this the hard way, one threading place at a time. Oh naivete. I would do it for the affordability factor, but after a handful of experiences I've finally accepted that you truly get what you pay for. Here's why I give it 2 stars. The first time I went in for the brazilian, the girl was not ready. I called in for an appointment ahead of time, and even so, she had me half nakee on the table cutting up strips for the wax. This has happened on both occasions that I've come in. Awkward. Also, while she was waxing me her colleague kept coming in and out of the room, THROUGHOUT the wax. As the lady was waxing me she said "Oh don't worry, she does brazilian waxing too." Um. I don't care if the other person waxes a thousand vajays, all day, everyday, it's just not professional. The final service/result itself just wasn't good. She didn't do a complete job...knowingly so. She left a patch unwaxed and asked if I had a bf or husband. I said no. And so then she said, so you don't care right? [if this patch of hair is still here] I just blinked. i have no idea what to say. Would you? I came here twice with the same level of service. The girl was nice, but even so, at the end of the day you are paying for a service and just wasn't thorough or good. This is a brow place, so I'm sure it's good for that. But I could NEVER EVER recommend this place for a brazilian. Brazilian or brows, I ain't comin back. read more

Grrr-eat place! First time getting my eyebrows threaded! Boyyyyyy. Girls weren't lying when they said it hurt! Lol, but it's nothing too bad, and Annie, my threader, was super friendly and talked to me throughout the process. Then .. I decided to get my armpit wax! Wooooo! I don't have a lot of hair in that area so Annie suggested threading! And it didn't hurt as bad, and it left my armpit feeling so smooooooth! Looks beautiful! ;p (i should be an armpit model,hehe) She also suggested Brazilian wax, I def will come back and try it ;o EDIT- Lol, I came back to this place today. You know unannounced with no appointment.. haha I was able to get served in five minutes, and guess who it was? Annie! Yay. always sweet and charming.. perfect brows for real. I told her this was my second time here with her, and she recognized me from Yelp! Lol. I'm so impressed when businesses actually take their time to read our reviews. It shows a more human side to a business that you don't often see. This place is a little far for me, but I def. don't mind taking the trip for perfection(: It's like going to your favorite restaurant and ordering your favorite dish! You know exactly what you're getting! .. People are always like, find some place closer! Threading's the same any where . This last visit wasn't as good as the first. The service was good and my brows were cleaned to perfection; however, I used my entire 1 hour lunch to get my eyebrows threaded. The salon only staffs two people, and one person was in the back doing a facial so a line began to form for brow services. This was a shame, because this is a great place but I shouldn't have to wait 35 minutes for a brow threading. Please employ more people during the lunch rush! read more

This is my first time experiencing threading eyebrows. Since I haven't been to any other places, I don't know how other places are, but I highly recommend this place. I went there on Tuesday morning and it wasn't busy yet. Since I have 3 month old baby, I was worried to take her with me. While Pooja (I think she is the owner) was doing my brows, one of the workers played with my baby and I felt super comfortable! Pooja did a great job and my brows look sooo good. STILL the best place to get nicely shaped brows! Despite straying away to other places due to sheer convenience, I'd travel the extra miles just to get the satisfaction, not to mention, fierce brows, that the ladies at this place deliver ;) Don't forget to get a stamp card (you'll be needing it) because after your 10th visit, your brows are free! Also, I believe there is a $7 brow threading offer if you check in. A brazillian wax at this place is also a steal. It's $30 the first time, and the subsequent visits, assuming you'll go monthly, is only $25. I don't think it gets any better than that. read more

I used to think I had a high pain tolerance, and then I got my eyebrows threaded and I cried like a small child. Okay, I didn't literally cry, but my eyes were definitely watering. Anyways, on to the review. I highly recommend this place. I walked in, without an appointment, and didn't have to wait to get my eyebrows threaded. It's definitely a weird experience if you've never had your eyebrows threaded. I'm used to getting my eyebrows waxed, where they take you into a room and put on soothing music. But here, you sit in a hair salon like chair and hold your skin taught, so they can thread your eyebrows. Maryam is awesome! I used to get my eyebrows done at a location over at the Outlets of Orange until my go to eyebrow left. I decided to use someone else there and they completely jacked up my eyebrows. One was way thicker than the other so I decided to check Perfect Brows out on Chapman. I told Maryam what I did not like about my eyebrows and how I wanted them fixed on my very first visit she was able to fix the previous guy made and since then I have continued to go to her. I came in for a lash lift, tint, & brow enhancement. Don't recommend. I'm blonde, but my eyebrows came out basically black. My lashes aren't lifted at all -- I'm not sure if the product was bad or what happened, but this is super frustrating after the process took 1.5 hours (which is longer than any other lash lift I've had). The only positive thing I can say is that my eyelashes were tinted the correct color. I would probably only come here for eyebrow threading -- no other services. read more

This is my definite go to place for "perfect brows." I really like Annie and there was one other person I tried last time that I also liked, but I didn't get her name. Annie is my first choice though. There was one person who I didn't particularly like because she made my eyebrows too thin, too high and seemed in a rush so I don't like going to her. Everyone else is very accommodating though and the wait time is usually pretty good. Most of the workers take their time and listen to you so they don't mess it up. I also went to a different threading salon and had my skin ripped off and so I really appreciate the care that perfect brows put into their customers. read more

I'm going back to Karina! (my old brow lady) the past few times I've gone to thread my brows they've done a shitty job. If you go while they're busy the ladies will not be thorough in threading your eyebrows. I feel like they're priority is to get to every client quickly rather than do a good job on their current client's eyebrows!!!! Also, it seems to me like the ladies don't really know how to "shape" brows. I don't know if it's just me but all they really do is clean up any stray hairs. Perfect Brows was my first experience with eyebrow threading. I heard that threading took longer and was more painful than waxing, but for $8 I had to give it a try. These ladies live up to the store name and now I don't go anywhere else. Nadia, Ripal, and Malti are so patient and friendly. I do not recommend waxing here. I saw Patel. She's great at threading and nice but my experience with waxing was so horrible I won't be coming back. They use wax that is not with sterile wax paper.... so they have to touch your face a lot more... especially after ripping the hair out to calm the skin down. It's the type of wax that peels off your skin without paper. They should be using gloves and new sticks each time they get the wax to prevent bacteria getting in your pores. I ended up with the worse rash on my cheeks and lip and now they look like pimples. It still itches and burns and I don't want it happening to anyone else. read more

Ive been here twice for a Brazilian wax. The first time, i met Mitra. She and I had very entertaining conversation which helped me get through the waxing. She moves swiftly and very important, she does not double dip into the wax! The result is very nice! :D The second time I met Mitra, after my wax, she threaded my eyebrows. I've been a loyal customer for over 2 years. This is the only place I go to for eyebrow threading and Brazilian Wax. I try to catch Pooja when I can, but if not I usually have Farzana do my eyebrows. Pooja takes her time and cares about the results of her service. The shop is clean, has friendly workers, and the price for waxing is fair and eyebrows are just $9. This is by far the greatest place to get your brows done! I never thought i could find anywhere comparable to Threads Beauty Bar in Dublin, CA... I'm actually happy to be wrong this time around. I get my brows threaded by Pooja. She is remarkable at what she does. She shapes my brows beautifully and she doesn't thin them out. I always leave very satisfied with the threading service she provides. I deducted one star because if I'm judging the salon as a whole, then they could use a little sprucing up in their salon. It's very clean, but some wall art or some decor would help give it some character. It's a bit too bare in there for my taste. All and all, a great place for threading, staff is very friendly, and it's VERY affordable. Give it a try and you'll see! read more

I've only been once, but I am definitely a fan of this place. I don't live in the area but was on my way to visit my lover, and wanted nice brows before I saw him. Due to my ethnicity I have thick brows, but it often leads threaders to over pluck, but I am not down with the chola look. I actually like my thick brows I simply want a clean up and places seem to always take too much off, nor shape them well enough. This place kept them the thickness I liked and gave me a nice shape. It's not particularly a friendly place. I walked in and no one greeted me, and I just waited. Overall they know what they're doing with brows and do it well. Sorry Perfect Brows. I've been a loyal customer for almost a year, but we need to part ways now. You guys keep making my eyebrows thinner and thinner with every visit. At this rate, I will look like end up looking like an Asian Marilyn Manson. My eyebrows are already thin (not bushy) to begin with, and now my left eyebrow is maybe 4 hairs thick in the middle. This thinness also means that my scar is more visible than ever. MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE!!! After my experience at Vinita's, I was a bit worried about getting threaded again. After I explained my experience to Anny, she did everything to make sure I was comfortable with threading. She shaped my eye brows perfectly and took her time! At the end of it, my face wasn't red and I wasn't left with harsh bumps on my eyebrows/forehead. That is what I LOVED about this place! They both listen carefully to how you want your eyebrows, and mine simply turn out perfect every time I come here! When I went there for the first time, I have had raj and the second time I had pooja do my braxilian wax, they both made me feel comfortable and both was so sweet! I thought it was going to be awkward, but they were kind and made me feel relaxed and the outcome was amazing. Waxing the full bikini area is sexy and its clean and no ugly razor bumps. I live near this place & always wanted to try threading...based on the reviews here, I decided to go today. I asked for Pooja & she was AMAZING. Sweet, fast, didn't hurt me and she shaped them very nicely! I've never had threading done before. It's faster than waxing and doesn't hurt as much, although they're a bit swollen right now. I think the worst part is that you can hear the hairs coming out. Mondays & Tuesdays, it's only $6 so you can't beat it. And don't let the price fool you. You won't feel like you're being rushed in and out of system like a very popular threading salon that will go unnamed in Costa Mesa and LA. Coming here the experience felt similiar to getting a haircut rather than the usual mowing of my brows. Pooja, the owner, took her time and put thought into shaping my eyebrows. Since it was my first time with her, she did the first brow then showed me the result in the mirror. I was very happy with her shaping and the fact that she asked, which has never happened at said comeptition! I went on a Monday because I had read about a $6 special for the service, typically it's $7. Even better, Pooja did the service for free since I was new to her salon! Just be sure to mention it's your first time there to get in on the deal. Located in one of the better strip malls on Chapman, the salon is clean and modern with a touch of chic. It's been open open for six months. The owner used to be a threader in a salon in Tustin, she said. I went around 5:15 p.m. on Monday and there was no line! There was another threader working on someone else, but it was pretty empty. This place is closer to home and definitely cheaper than the $13 with tip that I pay for getting my eyebrows done. Great place to go, EXCEPT they never take you at the time you set an appt. Every time I have come here and set an appt (because their always busy) I end up waiting AT LEAST 15 minutes, which is ridiculous.
