I have been getting my threading services with Renu for over 10 years. She's been doing my eyebrows since middle school! Since that time I have moved out of, and back into Tustin and throughout all that time I still only come here to get my eyebrows done. That is because not only is she great at what she does, but she will listen to what you want and execute your vision perfectly. Throughout the years I have liked my brows done differently, she always gets it right. On the off chance I really need my brows done when Renu is not working, I have gotten them done with Nita as well and she is also really great. This location is unprofessional. I called since I was interested in getting myself an eyelash perm done the associate said they do the eyelash perm and that I could go now to get it done. I asked if they would be able to share photos of their work to see if it would be worth going or not. The employee said she would ask her manager. I called back 15 mins later and associate said she didn't text her manager bc she checked for the product needed for the perm and said they don't even have the product needed to get the work done. THREADING I really like Daxa. She was skilled and knew what she was doing. My eyebrows are nicely shaped with minimal pain. She also gives a short cooling eyebrow massage after. I think she is one of the best I've ever had. WAXING Pretty fast and clean. Daxa is also good at this. She doesn't double dip and gets the job done fairly fast. Brazilians are normally $35 but if you do threading at the same time, i think they have specials that take down the price quite a bit. read more

I'm most definitely a regular here. The ladies here really know how to treat my brows right. They're all sweet and give you a little eyebrow/forehead massage afterwards. I always purchase their booklet which includes 12 eyebrow threading sessions and a few other wax treatments for $48. If you use the booklet for the eyebrow threading only, you end up only spending $4 each time for a threading. Definitely a steal! Regular pricing for eyebrow threading is $7. Being a San Diego resident, I always make sure to stop by this threading studio on my way back down from the OC. Never head home without a visit to my friends at Divine. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I recently went in on Sunday to get my brows done. It was empty, which I love because then I don't have to wait. I would wait though, that's how amazing this place is. I remember when they first opened! I used to live down the street and have moved to two different states since then. I felt so special though, because the lady at the front did remember me from YEARS ago. So sweet. I was in town visiting and where I live, the place that threaded my brows last, messed them up SO BAD. I prefer thick brows and it's not hard to see my original shape. I came in here and told my girl exactly what I wanted and she delivered!! She fixed them with a basic clean up and showed me my first brow before she moved onto my second one. Pretty disappointing place! My first time coming here I made a wax appointment. The day of my appointment they call me to push back my time. I said ok but in my head I'm thinking I hope it's not going to be a habit. Met with the owner Daxa. She did a good job. Before I left I made another appointment a month later to get another wax job. This is where I feel this place is unprofessional. I get a call from Daxa on Friday trying to change my schedule to come that day, Wednesday or if I still come the day of my appointment (Tuesday), I could see someone else. I told her I made an appointment a month prior why would I change my schedule or want to have someone else do the wax. I told her if she didn't want my business I can go somewhere else. She said no the appointment will stay the way it is. Fast forward to today. I get another call from this place asking to confirm my appointment again. The lady stressed Daxa just wants to confirm the appointment because it's her day off. It's pretty disappointing that I thought I already confirmed the appointment on Friday but at this point I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and will take my business elsewhere. What's the point of making an appointment knowing damn well if the Owner herself knows she doesn't work on Tuesdays but booked it herself. Now I understand why she tried changing my appointment herself on Friday but didn't have the nerve to let me know she's off on Tuesday's. read more

Again I found myself in need of some TLC for my eyebrows. When I told my sister I was looking for a threading studio in her area, she let me know that she had seen a coupon for a newer place that had recently opened. A few days later I found myself at Divine Threading Studio. The place itself is on the smaller side but it was bright and clean. There was one person ahead of me and I only needed to wait for a few minutes. The woman who did my threading was quite friendly and gentle handed. I was done in a few minutes and was quite happy with the results. Clean angles and nicely trimmed. Eyebrow threading was $7 but I had a $2 off coupon. I also noticed that they had various discounts for students and for treatments done on certain days. The gal at the cashier let me know of a special they were running. 2 Eyebrow Threading sessions for $7---now that's a deal! My eyebrows are quite happy now. :) read more

Two stars for the friendly staff & because I have a soft spot when it comes to writing reviews. Two stars also because I have been coming here for years due to the fact it is located right next to my house and they typically do an OK job. It's usually a pretty rushed process which is fine as long as my eye brows at least look even after- which was not the case last time I went in (a few days ago). I like to keep my eye brows thick due to the fact they are very light before I fill them in. I hadn't gotten my eye brows done for over a month because I was growing them out! Sad to say all that wasted time of bushy eye brows led to an extremely bad threading job. She did it in about a minute- no wonder they came out like this. Really upsetting that I'm going to have to fill my eye brows in until it grows back evenly. Here's to another 2 months of the grueling growing-out-your-eyebrows process. Ps. A co-worker told me about this place. She has been coming here, to the eyebrow artist Daxa to be exact, for years. The ladies in the studio were so nice. I didn't feel rushed ( like another threading studio across the street from South Coast Plaza). When it was my turn, Daxa took her time and sculpted each eyebrow. It was a nice change. Although this studio is a little out of the way for me, I like the atmosphere and the service a lot. Though the studio is small, it is accommodating and welcoming. She takes her time with you and listens to your needs, converses with you and shows a great deal of care. By far the best threading salon in Tustin. Lots of additional services they offer, which I ran into Harshi (also another awesome lady) that did my henna for the first time today. I am in LOVE! She did an amazing job on my henna. Eyebrow threading on Tuesday up until 3 pm are only $5 (Not sure if this promo is still going on). It's $6 with a student ID. Results are very inconsistent to say the least. Some employees are very good at what they do & do a very thorough job, making sure my eyebrows are shaped nicely and evenly. Sometimes I come in & they do such a quick job & only take a few minutes, and sure enough my eyebrows always come out looking uneven when they take such a short time on my eyebrows. I really want to like this place. I do. Unfortunately, I will have to go elsewhere for my Brazilian waxes. I've gotten my waxes done here two separate times with two different ladies. My first time, I thought it went really well and the place was OK clean. She put the TV on and a fan to ease the stress of this painful journey aka the dreaded waxing season. The second time, (yesterday) I went into the stark white room and noticed that it wasn't so clean. The bed/chair looked disgusting and the lady told me to change into this weird white skirt. Sanitary? I don't know about you, but instantly I just thought about when was the last time this skirt thing was used. Is it washed frequently? The velcro on the skirt told me no. There was hair in there and I was just grossed out. Now onto the waxing... not sure if they double dip wax and it took about 30-40 minutes finish. Lastly, the lady wasn't confident enough to finish "sensitive areas" so she asked another coworker to do it. Talk about awkward. The nice thing about this place is that the ladies are very sweet and nice! Hence the 3 stars. If you're looking for a cheap $35 wax, this might be a place you want to consider but if you want something more clean and professional I'd look somewhere else! read more

I came here after getting a groupon for a brazilian wax and eyebrow thread for $20!!! I made an appointment with them ahead of time just in case it got packed by the time I came in for my services. When I got there, it was very empty and it seemed like I didn't even need my appointment. The lady who did my eyebrows was very nice. It was ok. I like my eyebrows more defined and arched but they left it a little on the thicker side and round but hey, at least my eyebrows don't look like two caterpillar friends just chilling on my face. After my eyebrows, they took me back to get my wax. One thing I really liked about their wax room is that they have a TV up on the wall with a bunch of Indian music videos playing. HAHA seriously, this was a first for me. All waxing places should have a tv in their room! It definitely distracts you from the pain! The girl who was did my wax was good. She was super fast at waxing me down there! Literally she was done in like 10-15 minutes! She didn't clean it up too much with the plucking but to be honest, the plucking part hurts the most so I'm kinda glad she didn't. They also turn on this cooling fan while they're waxing you which is a really nice touch bc I always end up sweating a little from the nervousness of the waxing. It definitely cooled me down during the entire process. My eyebrows and waxing took me less than 30 minutes. These ladies are fast! I got in at 2:30 left at 3:00! If i'm in a hurry, definitely will come back. It's way better than sitting around waiting at Vinita's for 30 minutes! The regular prices here are 7 dollars for eyebrow threading but if you go on a tuesday it's $5 and the brazilian wax is $35. read more
