Compared to other threading studios around the area, this place is really cheap!! However, you do get what you pay for. Eyebrow threading on Tuesday up until 3 pm are only $5 (Not sure if this promo is still going on). It's $6 with a student ID. Results are very inconsistent to say the least. Some employees are very good at what they do & do a very thorough job, making sure my eyebrows are shaped nicely and evenly. Sometimes I come in & they do such a quick job & only take a few minutes, and sure enough my eyebrows always come out looking uneven when they take such a short time on my eyebrows. I really want to like this place. I do. Unfortunately, I will have to go elsewhere for my Brazilian waxes. I've gotten my waxes done here two separate times with two different ladies. My first time, I thought it went really well and the place was OK clean. She put the TV on and a fan to ease the stress of this painful journey aka the dreaded waxing season. The second time, (yesterday) I went into the stark white room and noticed that it wasn't so clean. The bed/chair looked disgusting and the lady told me to change into this weird white skirt. Sanitary? I don't know about you, but instantly I just thought about when was the last time this skirt thing was used. Is it washed frequently? The velcro on the skirt told me no. There was hair in there and I was just grossed out. Now onto the waxing... not sure if they double dip wax and it took about 30-40 minutes finish. Lastly, the lady wasn't confident enough to finish "sensitive areas" so she asked another coworker to do it. Talk about awkward. The nice thing about this place is that the ladies are very sweet and nice! Hence the 3 stars. If you're looking for a cheap $35 wax, this might be a place you want to consider but if you want something more clean and professional I'd look somewhere else! read more

I came here after getting a groupon for a brazilian wax and eyebrow thread for $20!!! I made an appointment with them ahead of time just in case it got packed by the time I came in for my services. When I got there, it was very empty and it seemed like I didn't even need my appointment. The lady who did my eyebrows was very nice. It was ok. I like my eyebrows more defined and arched but they left it a little on the thicker side and round but hey, at least my eyebrows don't look like two caterpillar friends just chilling on my face. After my eyebrows, they took me back to get my wax. One thing I really liked about their wax room is that they have a TV up on the wall with a bunch of Indian music videos playing. HAHA seriously, this was a first for me. All waxing places should have a tv in their room! It definitely distracts you from the pain! The girl who was did my wax was good. She was super fast at waxing me down there! Literally she was done in like 10-15 minutes! She didn't clean it up too much with the plucking but to be honest, the plucking part hurts the most so I'm kinda glad she didn't. They also turn on this cooling fan while they're waxing you which is a really nice touch bc I always end up sweating a little from the nervousness of the waxing. It definitely cooled me down during the entire process. My eyebrows and waxing took me less than 30 minutes. These ladies are fast! I got in at 2:30 left at 3:00! If i'm in a hurry, definitely will come back. It's way better than sitting around waiting at Vinita's for 30 minutes! The regular prices here are 7 dollars for eyebrow threading but if you go on a tuesday it's $5 and the brazilian wax is $35. read more

Mistakenly check in to this place-- I'm not too happy with the service for the following reasons: 1. Spoke to me in Spanish for additional charge --I told her I'm not Spanish 2. My brows were uneven --her technique is different--she does one side of the lip and one side of the brow-- interesting --I never experience this before --normally the left and the right side of the lips will be done 1st and the same with the brows left side and then the right side-- and not all right sides for brows and lip and all left sides for brows and lip; 3. Didn't clean the hair residue on my eyes area 4. Worst threading EVER! I came in on a whim, having looked at the previous reviews and thought "Hey, why not?" It was a Tuesday and they have a $6 threading special! Bonus!...but no. Got in quickly and things looked to be kept clean. The girl took maybe hmmmmmm 30 seconds on my brows. At any other time, this hastiness would be great but the outcome...HORRIBLE. Granted they were thin to begin with but she managed to make them ridiculously thin AND miss tons of outlying hairs. How does that happen??? Customer service-- non-existent. Barely said two words to me except try to sell me on an upper lip threading. Didn't even offer me a mirror after. I come here all the time and sometimes good and sometimes ok, but this time she did a disgusting job. This wasnt the first time she messed up my eyebrows; If she doesnt know how to just clean then she should have directed me to someone else! I noticed my huge bald spot over my left eyebrow and let her know, instead of excusing herself she continued to argue with me. It was my second visit to Divine Threading Studio, and I must say I am satisfied and proud to say I'm a regular. I used to go to Vinita's located in Tustin, but their threading was inconsistent, and getting service from the same person, I was not fully satisfied. Upon first walking in, I was greeting by the receptionist and was told to write my name on the paper attached to the clipboard. I did not have to wait because the people who were there before me was finished, so I was able to walk in and out for my threading service. First, when I sat down on the chair, the threader asked type of eyebrows I wanted and she would point out where and what she would do before threading anywhere, which is a sign of good service :) Overall: people should definately try this place. I bought the Groupon of the eyebrow and brazilian wax for $20 or $25 and it was a great experience. I'm 26 and have never had a brazilian or bikini NOTHING! I tried to do it myself and that was the most PAINFUL DISASTER EVERY. My eyebrows were immaculant. Thank goodness b/c I tweeze my own and I'm very good but they did a great job. Perfectly even and shaped. Now the brazillian....OMG...2nd worst pain IN LIFE. But she was soo good and had me laughing like 5 times. LOL. She was so quick and talked me through the whole time. 'Be strong! You can be strong. You can do it.' And I surely did. My gf's were right...it does look SO much better down there. lol. TMI for Yelp? Well ladies know what I mean! lol. They threaded my eyebrows and i'm pretty disappointed to see that there's still hairs that the lady didn't thread. She didn't take her time threading my eyebrows. She did it really fast. Didn't wipe off all the loose hairs I had on my eyebrows from all the threading and only applied a little bit of aloe Vera, massaged for like 5 seconds and that was it. I only came here cause I had a $2 off coupon. I am not coming here again and i'm just going to stick to my go-to threading place. Where it is also $7 to get a eyebrow threading sesh and my eyebrow lady takes her time to make sure my eyebrows are perfect!!! I've been going here for almost 6 years and I first used to only go Tuesdays from 10am-3pm because of the $5 eyebrow deal and then I started purchasing the package that was $48 which has 12 eyebrow tickets and other discounts for waxing. I think this is a great deal if you go consistently and it becomes cheaper overall. Wait isn't too long in the mornings and that's when I normally go just to get it out of the way. The waxing services are also really good. Prices are reasonable. Full arms are $30 and full legs are $40. I've only gotten them done once but I definitely plan on coming back in the near future. read more

Prior to my most recent visit, I would give this place 4-5 stars. Every person that I had to thread my eyebrows was SOLID. (and yes, i am one of those people who are SOOO particular about their eyebrows and only trust a few places/people) Today I go in and see a lady who I do not recognize at all. Every visit before, for the past 3 years, I have sat at a chair on the right side (when facing the back of this studio). This unfamiliar lady had her station/chair on the left side, directly behind the register. I was worried at first because the girl prior to me getting her eyebrows down had a lot of comments "can you fix this etc." I took my chances (idiot, I am) Lo and behold, my eyebrows are disgusting. They were pretty damn bushy too, so she def had a lot of hair to work with. She took too much in despite me saying to keep both sides long. They just seriously looked BAD..and MESSY. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN AFTER EYEBROW THREADING?! I leave..upset as ever..continue to get more upset...and more upset..and more upset.. I am scarred. I dont think I will ever thread my eyebrows EVER AGAIN. And will probably convert to getting them waxed. I've had so many good experiences at this location but this one was just too traumatizing. I know I sound like I am crazy overreacting, but ladies, you feel me. it is ALL about the brows.. So what I am saying is..dont go to her on the left side. When asking how come I have never seen her here before, she said she mostly worked at the other location. Can't say that I am a fan. I discovered this place because of Groupon and thought I'd try it out and was sadly disappointed. The woman who did my wax was nice but the dinky little room felt suffocating and after signing 2 waivers and seeing everything in that room wrapped cheaply with tin foil I was turned off. I decided that I would just redeem my Groupon and be on my way. This store is not the most updated, modern place and I didn't get a particularly friendly greeting but what did I care? I was getting my brows threaded and would be in and out in 5 minutes. I got Nena (sp?) and she did an ok job. I told her I just wanted to clean up my unkempt brows and she went to work. She seemed to take her time, wasn't too rough, and didn't make my brows too small. However, she didn't shape them well and, although I saw her using scissors to trim my brows, when I looked at them at home I noticed some hair were still really long and totally sticking out. Seemed like a sloppy job, so I'm not impressed. Maybe I'll go back and request Draxa. $7, not too bad! read more

Just got my brows done here today. They were quick and it didn't hurt as much as another place I've gotten threaded at before. They're not as detailed as the other place but if you tell them to do specific things they have no problems going back and touching up until you're happy. I have to say you can't beat the prices. $5-7 for eyebrows depending if you have a coupon, school ID or come in during their special promotion days/times. Will be back for sure. read more

Renu is the girl who does wonders on my brows and when I say wonders I mean wonders!! She is so precise and will not let you leave until your happy! Which isn't hard to do because she is awesome!!! My mom and sister always waxed before I introduce them to threading! Another great service they provide is henna and lash perm which my mom loves!! They literally perm your lashes and they stay curled for almost a month! So pretty if you have natural long lashes and don't want to curl them every day and apply mascara!
