Using several moving companies throughout my life. My moving company is by far the best! They were the cheapest by far, and that concerned me. However, they were punctual, friendly, and clean. What surprised me was how efficient they were. They packed everything with care, and quickly. I was like "they're already done?" I never right reviews, either good or bad. Sometimes you have to give credit where credit is do. Credit is definitely due here! Thank you guys so much for everything! If I could give him zero stars I Would. This moving company took advantage of a single mom trying to move. The owner, Blake yarbrough used to be a fellow classmate. So I automatically thought that I would support a fellow classmate and their own business. Boy was I wrong. I made a deposit of $100 that was supposed to be refundable. The day of the move his crew did not show up and I could not contact anyone including Blake. I left numerous voicemails and received no answer. Later that evening after I had to hire another moving company, Blake reached out. I explained to him that his crew did not show up and would like my money refunded. He stated that I needed to send him proof that I hired a new moving company and he would refund my money. I sent him an invoice from the new moving company And the owner, Blake yarbrough, refused to refund my money. I beg you not to hire this company. I contacted My Moving Company through the referral service porch.com. I needed a washer and dryer moved from one house to another about 2 mi. apart. My Moving Company had expressed an interest in taking care of my move. I followed the instructions from porch.com to call My Moving Company on July, 11, 2018. The man who took the call said he had nearly reached his destination and that he would call be back in 5 to 10 min. Here it is July 16, 2018, and I still have not received a return phone call from My Moving Company. I have already used another company who took care of our move. My Moving Company cannot be trusted. The guys were super nice and friendly, however a one day moving experience turned into a 2 day move. They did have extenuating circumstances on the first day and a wreck the next day that slowed down everything. Day of they were 5 hours late and the second day they were 3 hours late. The second day I wouldn't have minded had they kept in touch but they went 3 hours with out responding to me so I had no idea where my stuff was. Then after getting everything situated I had several things broken and anything made of wood was scratched. Needless to say it was the most frustrating move I've had. read more

Blake and Jay came to our rescue after another moving company bailed on us the morning of our move. They were able accommodate us later that same day which saved us a huge hassle. They worked very efficiently and had an incredibly good attitude throughout the whole move despite the fact they had already moved several other people that day and worked tirelessly until after 9:30PM. They wrapped and padded everything extremely well so our furniture was very well-cared for throughout the process. Terrible experience Blake promised 4 movers and a truck and talked a good game and took my deposit. I called to confirm the week of move and was informed I was on the schedule. This moving company was nothing but professional from beginning to end. They made a point to contact me when they were running late due to traffic, wrapped and padded all my furniture, were timely, and worked tirelessly until my new place was set up. I had a TON of things to move so it was a long process. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost at the end of the move... It was completely affordable, even on my school teacher's salary! Blake and his crew were absolutely amazing. At no point was I ever worried about my belongings. One thing I was so impressed with was the politeness of all three men. They all 3 immediately introduced themselves to not only me but a friend of mine who was there helping me move. They made the move to our 3 story townhome a lot less painful! *He threatened me and told me to take my review down on FB. YELP it is!* Not even wanting to get into it. I wasn't going to say a word but my friends said something to him. Now Blake attacks my family and makes up lies about someone helping me with the move. If you have kids ( sorry I'm a mom and have a 2 & 5 year old ) or animals or want a FAST job done, DO NOT USE HIM!!! He also doesn't have a big enough truck. We only had a 2200 sq ft home. We had to rent our OWN truck and take trips back and forth because they were dragging their butts. It was a SHIT SHOW and he can blame us and CURSE and YELL at my husband all he wants. It's a business. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If you get a three man crew and only ONE is busting their ass, yea I guess it takes that much time. He brought a sick worker with him who was in the bathroom or on his phone the whole time. I saw him wrap a piece of furniture or two. My mother saw him on the phone as well. GET OFF YOUR PHONE WHEN IM BEING CHARGED $100/HR! If you're sick, don't come and put my children's health at risk either. I'm appalled he cursed and yelled at my husband at the top of his lungs. When you OWN your own company, you are to be professional no matter what && LEARN TO PUT A FRIDGE BACK TOGETHER SO SOMEONE DOESNT PAY YOU $100 an hour to YouTube!!! I could go on and Blake will probably bad mouth us bc that's how unprofessional he is. Sorry I have a 2 and 5 year old. These movers were fantastic! First off their prices were the best out of the 18 moving companies I contacted. They didn't charge more for me being on a 3rd floor apartment or have any other weird charges. They worked fast (which was great since I paid by the hour), they were friendly and they were completely professional. I had absolutely no problems with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving. I will be using them in the future for my next move! read more

He will even call you day before confirming your appointment BUT HE WONT SHOW UP. I had appointment couple of days back with him, when I called him 15 mins before the appointment he picked up the call and saying that he wont be able to come untill 3 hrs late of my actual appointment time. he seems sleepy and drunk. From start to finish Blake could not have been more accommodating and helpful. His fees were very clear and fair and they did a great job. Extremely professional and kind. They helped me with anything asked, Blake even helped me hook up my cable and WiFi even though we had been moving for four hours! Four hours and 15 mins to be exact and I had to insist he charge me for those 15 mins! Since when does a moving company do that??! Privately owed ones do! After having set up my move 4 weeks prior to the actual move day, I called twice, left a voicemail and sent an email the morning of the move. 2 hours after they were supposed to be there, I got a text message saying the truck was broke down and he was cancelling my move. I was pleased that this company is licensed by the state of Texas. That is pretty hard to find in a moving company. I did quite a bit of research on them and found out they have no complaints from previous customers that I could find. The communication I received was very professional. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner. I was aware of the pricing and scheduling by the end of the first call. They moved my things from a 3rd floor apartment in the summer time to my house without a scratch on anything! They were very nice and careful with the things being moved. They are very affordable and thorough with the paperwork and process which is nice. Are you kidding me? Your excuse is not the truth. You refused to accept my phone call on the day prior to our move or respond to my text message. You say your car accident was coincidentally the morning of my move. What is your excuse for the day prior? There is nothing you can say to explain your lack of professionalism and disrespect for me as a customer. Because of you I had to pay an additional $1,000 to another company who agreed at the last minute to call in a extra crew and worked late in the night to complete our move. We had to be out on the day we schedule with you so there was no option to wait a day or two. Not only did you ignore my phone call, text message, email,and Facebook message but, you never returned any of my attempts to contact you. You didn't even have the decency to contact me after you received any of these messages to apologize. Now 15 months later you decide to respond to my Yelp review obviously in an effort to make the Yelp community think there was an explanation that justified your actions. Blake, there is no justification and no excuse. For whatever reason you claim, you did not show up for our scheduled move and this caused me a great deal of stress and cost me a considerable amount of money that I had not expected to pay. I am not the first and I'm sure I won't be the last to have a complaint about your company. I am however one who chose to share my experience truthfully with anyone interested in reading about it. You chose not to communicate with me the day before, the day of, and for 15 months after my scheduled move. You never offered to reimburse me for the additional expense incurred as a result of your failure to show up for my move that had the terms clearly defined in our agreement. You say you "wish nothing but the best to me and my family" but never tried to make right the wrong caused.
