My experience at My Bridal Alterations was a dream from start to finish. I had already received 3 quotes for alterations that blew my mind so when I found My Bridal Alterations, I figured they would be in the same ballpark but I was pleasantly surprised. Christina was welcoming and so sweet, and they were the only shop that actually pinned me to see what alterations would be needed, listened to what I wanted, and provided their professional recommendations. Each appointment was easy to schedule and left me feeling relieved and relaxed that my dress would fit like a glove. I was so comfortable and confident on my wedding day, all thanks to My Bridal Alterations!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Tina is a fairy godmother that makes all your dreams come true. I gained a lot of weight between the time I purchased my wedding dress and my wedding date, and really needed a miracle to happen. Before I went to Tina, another seamstress said it was impossible and that I needed to find a new dress. As you can imagine my mood was completely shot. From the second I contacted Tina, she was so warm, professional, and enthusiastic, which gave me hope. We set up an appointment to consult her about the dress in person and I brought my mom and grandma to the appointment. The space was so beautiful, elegantly decorated, and warm. Tina made us all feel very very welcome. I was really nervous because of the last seamstress, and Tina took all of my nerves away. She was incredibly honest and told me all the things necessary to make my dress fit again. Trust her, she really does know what she is talking about. She added a beautiful and classy corset that made my dress absolutely stunning and fit! In a super timely manner, we set up the second appointment to do the first dress fitting with the alterations. Again Tina made us feel comfortable and helped put the dress on with the corset while also teaching my mom how to help me on my wedding day. She really listens to every bride's concerns (and family members), and makes it all work. When I looked in the mirror it felt like the first time I put the dress on and fell in love with it. It was absolutely stunning and more. Tina made a miracle happen and made me feel so beautiful. She gave me the feeling that every bride craves. Thank you so much Tina. You really are a fairy godmother. To all brides out there... trust Tina, she really will make you feel more beautiful than you could ever dream on your very special day.
Tina was a delight!! I am so happy she was recommended to me from Posh Brides & Grooms. Her shop Is so beautifully decorated and she is a lovely person. She did an incredible job adding a bustle to my beautiful dress. She also helped trim any excess thread and pressed my dress and prepped it for my big day. I couldn't recommend her more! Big fan! Thanks again Tina!
Tina is the fairy godmother you always needed, but never thought you would find! Tina was able to do what other seamstresses had told me was impossible! I was frantic looking for a seamstress when my dress arrived, I had lost more of the baby weight than anticipated and suddenly had a dress far too big. Another seamstress I had taken my dress to alter literally told me I was better off buying a new dress, because the alterations would cost more than the dress itself and would require being completely dismantled with its intricate lace. Another seamstress was going to only lift the dress at the sleeves and bunch it at the top! Then I found Tina, she didn't take any shortcuts and she did what the others had sworn was impossible. My dress fit me like a glove and her immaculate, intricate, and deft handiwork transformed a dress that slumped off my shoulders to the perfect gown to be married. She custom designed a cathedral veil with lace that perfectly complemented my dress. She also created two custom sashes, designs all her own and perfectly bringing to life what I had imagined. I told her the things I wanted and the details I dreamt of and she brought it to life. She found the perfect fabrics and they were everything I asked for. I cannot stress enough the knowledge and expertise she possesses and that with her you are certain to have the very best! On top of all that, she is simply the dearest human being and just the salt of the earth! The bottom line is, she did what no one else could and she didn't take any shortcuts. She completely reconstructed my dress and stitch by stitch made it perfect.
Tina is beyond amazing! I was so worried when I received my dress because it was way too big and did not fit on my waist, chest, and absolutely all over. I also had no idea how much it would be to alter a dress especially once I started calling and taking in my dress for quotes. I did not realize it had so many layers and details that needed to be adjusted. Tina on the other hand, was absolutely the best person to work with. She was so sweet, helpful, and able to work within my budget. I am so happy and lucky I found her. The overall quality of her work was beyond amazing especially considering the detail and I am so lucky and happy to have found such a great seamstress. Because of her, my wedding dress fit perfect and was beyond beautiful! Thank you Tina!!
Highly recommend!! Tina did a great job adding a bustle and performing some adjustments to the top part of my dress. She adjusted the dress exactly how I wanted. She does the adjustments timely and her craftsmanship is top notch. Her studio is so cute and I had a very nice time each time I went in for an appointment. She is such a sweet person and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Tina for your bridal alterations.
I am so happy I was referred to Tina by Roxie Couture. I needed my dress altered bigtime and my wedding was only a month away. Roxie didn't have enough time so she sent me to Tina because she knew Tina would do an awesome job. I can't say enough about how sweet Tina is! Such a kind and welcoming woman who assured me she could make my dress fit perfect. In a few weeks, she was finished. It needed a second round of alterations and she had it done a week later. My dress is all lace and sheer fabric which is not easy to work with. I also wanted her to change the shape of my dress. She had no problems and made it fit amazing and changed the shape into exactly what I envisioned. She also fitted my husband's vest and was done with it in a few days. Since he was nervous about the time crunch she finished it a day early for him. I would definitely recommend Tina for any type of alterations, and you can trust her to do an amazingly quick job at a very reasonable cost. Can't find a better deal with this quality of work anywhere! She also makes amazing wedding dresses. There was one on a form in her shop and it was gorgeous!
I am so glad we found Tina! I took my wedding dress to get altered at a tailor down the street (I used them for a bridesmaid dress and thought it would be great), and it was like they didn't even alter it at all. It was far too long. It was less than a month out from my wedding, and I was definitely in panic mode, but my mom found Tina! Tina was aware of my situation and was so so so nice and calming. She was so friendly. Easy to talk to, and really cared about me and my upcoming wedding. Really, really wanted me to be comfortable in my dress. Even made sure she was playing some relaxing music when I was in her shop! She was very easy to communicate with and also offered suggestions on how we should do the bustle at my request. I can't believe what an awesome job she did! My dress turned out absolutely perfect for the wedding day. It was the perfect length, and also comfortable! If you are looking to get a dress altered, or even a custom dress made, I could not recommend Tina enough!
OMG Tina is BEYOND the best, she's a totally professional and really knows what she's doing, I feel like all the brides to be in California should work with her, she's got a human sense out of this world and super patient and super sweet and hold on best part of all of this... you're gonna be super amazed by the quality, you're gonna see how much she cares about you seeing how much time and effort she puts in every detail of your dress, I FEEL SUPER GRATEFUL I GOT TO MEET SUCH AN EXPERIENCED WOMAN AND HUMAN BEING. I would give her more stars if I could because I was mega happy with my dress and how much I end up loving even more my dress after the alterations Ps: no worries if you have doubts or concerns about your dress or anything, she will come up with a perfect solution that will let you sleep well at night
Someone else said it perfect before, this seamstress is an absolute fairy godmother. Honestly, I was a little short on time. My wedding date snuck up on me and when I started contacting alteration salons, I kept being denied (everyone was already booked - September 2019 is a popular time to get married). I went in and was automatically blown away by how adorable the salon is. I was immediately put at ease. I felt completely taken care of. My dress was beautiful and the alterations were absolutely perfect. I am going to recommend My Bridal Alterations to every bride I know!
I am so glad I was referred to Tina. I needed my dress to be bustled and I only had like 3 weeks until my wedding. Tina never hesitated to help and never once stated that the timeline was too short. She was so sweet everytime we spoke and had my dress done and steamed in perfect time for my wedding. I highly recomend Tina!

The ladies at this beautiful location have given me the most amazing, detail oriented and personal experience I could imagine. It's a mother and her two daughters, and you can tell his is something they are all passionate about. BUT the expertise and experience they possess speaks for itself. They gave me alterations I didn't even know I needed and it's made my dress FIT MY BODY LIKE A GLOVE. I can say with confidence that if you go here for your alterations YOU WILL HE TAKEN CARE OF AND MADE TO FEEL LIKE A QUEEN!!! I didn't buy my dress from them, because I didn't know about their store when I bought mine, but they have an AMAZING selection of dresses!!! The boutique is stunning, classy, clean, and just makes you feel excited to be there. Thank you beautiful and talented ladies of Natty Bella Bridal Boutique read more

I purchased my dress from Grace Loves Lace and a friend recommended me to My Bridal Alterations. I didn't know what to expect honestly but I was so well taken care of! They are a lovely family run business & really make you feel warm and welcome. I also brought my mom's vintage 1980s wedding dress to alter and wear for my rehearsal! Both turned out beautifully! It was about 10 weeks from drop off to pick up. So be sure to plan ahead. They do have Saturday appointments available which is so nice for a working woman. It's hard enough planning a wedding but trying to squeeze in all the appointments. Any north county gals this should be your go-to! Christina and Tina are amazing!! read more

I'm so happy with My Bridal Alterations! Tina is very talented and such a sweetheart! In addition to taking my dress in three times due to weight loss and Covid cancelations, I had several extras I wanted with my gown which included intricate beading, lace work and added accessories. At one point, I had lost so much weight, she had to cut my dress (which is terrifying to any bride) and do her magic to sew it all back together. It was Perfectly done!! Tina is Amazing!! Her work and attention to detail was Impeccable. Not to mention, She made me feel like a Princess! She was so sweet and patient every step of the way. She helped with teaching how to get in and out of the gown properly, how to bustle, how to sit, hair suggestions, jewelry decisions and so much more. I highly recommend using My Bridal Alterations to get the look of your dreams! Thank you Tina! Bless you! read more

Thank you so much. The dress was taken from a bridal size 10 to an 8, was gemmed and had cups addded. I brought it to her about a month and a hallie away from my wedding day and she had it done very quick. I went to have it measured, to see the alterations and repairs and then a final time aftter any final changes were made. Everything came out beautiful. Thanks for making my wedding day magical read more

Tina did such a beautiful job altering our dresses for my daughter's wedding! She altered the bride's dress and created a beautiful bustle for dancing. She also altered the maid of honor's dress, a bridesmaid, and the mother of the bride. She made certain to have enough return appointments to do them each correctly. She's been doing this for years, and has educated herself properly to do it well! I am also a difficult fit as mother of the bride. I am only 5'1" and very curvy. She altered my dress very well, and I still had a slight train, which I wanted, as did the maid of honor. All of our dresses were long and the ceremony was on grass, so we wanted to look nice without tripping. From the start, Tina's personality was sweet, welcoming, professional, informative, and complimentary. She met all deadlines, and though I had many return visits to get it just right, she kept her original price. We highly recommend Tina! She's amazing!! We love you, Tina! read more
