Long story short, I bought a computer online, which I thought was new as it was not listed otherwise. However, it was an older unused computer that had been souped up with more storage and memory. Pro tip: Do not buy a computer online. Go into a store, so you can ask questions. Not sure if this refurbished computer is the cause of the crack in security or something else. Have you ever accidentally viewed something online or clicked a link, only to receive that dreaded warning: "Your antivirus software has expired, and your computer is being loaded with viruses"? Really? Seriously? I checked my computer's antivirus system, and no viruses were detected. It was clearly a quintessential scam. Then came a loud screeching sound that made it seem as if my computer were about to blow up. The fake antivirus company even displayed a screen asking me to enter my credit card information. OMG...I knew it was a scam, but I could not figure out how to make the screen disappear. I tried using Ctrl+Alt+Delete to shut down the computer, but that did not work. The warning screen kept coming back, so I finally took my computer to Best Buy's Geek Squad. Fortunately, they cleared the error message by emptying my cache. It only took a few minutes, and everything was back to normal. I truly appreciated the Geek Squad's quick service. This cost of this service was covered through my service agreement.

I "bricked" a Dell laptop when a BIOS update went bad causing the laptop to no longer boot up at…read moreall, just beeped an error code for a bad BIOS. Before the BIOS update, the laptop was in perfect working order passing ALL the Dell diagnostics & booted into a fresh install of Windows. I sent it to Parts-People for just a reflash, even if it was back to the original version A10. I figured they could revert back to A10 that was working. They re-flashed the BIOS to version A12 from another motherboard and everything was told it was booting and working in Windows. Then they retried to update the BIOS to A15 and got an error code for a bad CPU when done. Why is that when it was working perfectly before the update, you would think that A15 was a bad update and revert back to A12. I argued the point and told them I would have been happy with that but they insisted that I needed a new motherboard. My dumb ass let them replace the motherboard instead of arguing the point, which I should have done. They replaced the board and updated the BIOS to A15 with everything working fine and booting into Windows. It didn't stop there. When I got the laptop back, booted into Windows, I was shocked to see a 2 inch by 1/2 inch black spot on my screen! I have no idea how that got there but I was not happy. I called to dispute the issue & was told that it was there when they got it to boot up the first time. Their resolution was that I had to purchase the screen for about $60 and they would eat the shipping both ways and the labor to install it. That was it, I got pissed off and told them how I really felt about the service I got & hung up. This was my FIRST time and is my LAST time they will get ANY more repairs from me. I just will not update a BIOS on any system if it's working & testing fine.

He was very familiar with their advantages but it was too much for me to process at one time. We ordered the Das Keyboard 4C Professional Mechanical Keyboard with Greetech Brown switches. It is compact and the perfect size; we are not gamers and I do not type 200 wpm but we feel as if we have gone from a Model T to the Jetsons so fast is the responsiveness and I love the tactile nature of the keyboard. I do not find the product at all pricey. In fact I find it not only competitively priced but somewhat of a bargain considering the build quality. It is the finishing and crowning touch to our new system. In short we are so grateful that the builder brought this brand (previously unknown to me) to our attention. Highly recommended. In the same way that a performance car can make a better driver out of you, this keyboard will improve your experience adding confidence and that is not hype!

We were promised before the end of June, and here it is in july. Calls to the company and tickets yield little to no information. Perhaps whomever owns it has turned into a scammer, until or if they get this issue worked out I would avoid this company like the plague. 7/10/2014 update. Das has just announced that there will be an additional 3-4 week wait time on top of the first 3-4 week wait time. Two extra months to deliver a keyboard, and no compensation other than a refund is being offered. So if you would like someone to just hold 200 bucks for you for an indeterminate amount of time, this is a good option.

Half way thru day I have to reboot as it bogs down badly. Fan is very load as it is on front of machine facing you while working. I am an architect and run Autocadd, outlook and occasionally Sketchup. If it didnt take so long to install autocadd etc and setup software I would replace it. Also my IT reviewed it and said they didnt even overclock it. Which he said would be a bad idea anyway so I never bothered.

I also like that it is their design that customers are never separated from employees by a counter. You are always side by side, making the interaction personal by eliminating barriers. It's a subtle thing, but once you notice it and compare to other places, you can't unsee it. Furthermore, no one handling a customer disappears and goes in back, leaving the customer to stand there alone waiting. It's always a third person bringing a product out from in back to the two of you. Another subtle but important touch. My event today was picking up an ordered iMac (I had a QR code in my Apple Wallet), handing in my older iMac for a trade-in, and getting the Genius Bar (another QR code) to handle the free data transfer. The agent just inside opened the door for me, scanned my QRs, sent me and my old iMac to a back table, where someone else was expecting me. My new one was brought out, the condition of my trade-in was verified, zip-zap-done, and I'm directed to a middle table, where a Genius comes to greet me, generates a work order (another QR code I have now) for the data transfer and lets me know they'll reach out when it's done. My ONLY complaint about the Domain store is common to a lot of Domain stores. If you have anything heavy, there is literally no temporary parking out front to load. The employees had no way of knowing whether I was just there to try it or was a potential buyer, and that's what bothered me most. What if Apple just lost a sale simply because no one seemed interested in helping? I'm still interested in the product, but the experience was disappointing and definitely not the level of customer service I've come to expect from Apple.
