    Mussles and more restaurant
    Alex N.

Mussels and more restaurant is so good. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it is well worth it. I love the food here. They have a wide variety of Mussels on the menu , and in my opinion, are all very good. I usually get the lobster bisque Mussels. The portions are hefty. They also have good pizza. I have tried n the past the seafood and shrimp pizza. Both are very fresh and tasty. The margarita pizza is no exception. They have live bands playing here out on the sidewalk in the warmer weather seasons. The outdoor seating is a plus. The staff is welcoming and very kind. Sometimes, the owner himself serves us the food. I would recommend stopping by if you want a good time and good food in a nice neighborhood.

Decided to give this place a try after seeing some reviews online. Tried their classic and clams mussels pot, along with baked clams, oysters and clams on the half shell, and chicken parm. The mussel pot was a bit watery and not rich in flavor enough. Came out more like a chicken stock instead of a garlic wine sauce. The baked clams were on point. The chicken parm was not good. The chicken was done to perfect temperature but the problem lies in the tomato sauce which came straight from the can. Could use some work.

Phenomenal customer service. They made me feel so homey. Cesar Salad- Just the taste I was hoping for. Crunchy, refreshing, and plentiful. ($12) Fried Calamari- Large pieces, perfectly crispy, and great texture. ($15) Fra Diavolo Mussels- Spicy, but so amazing. We even asked to pack the leftover sauce so we can use it again for pasta at home. ($18) Linguini Seafood with White Wine- Great quality. ($21) Black Forest Cake- It was good. I think if you like chocolate with cherry filling, you'll love this.($9) Every single dish was delicious and huge. You definitely get your money's worth.

I always enjoy my dinners at Mussels and More. This weekend I had the shrimp cocktail and some broccoli rabe. I was pleasantly surprised when they lit a beautiful sparkler on my slice of birthday cake! The atmosphere is peaceful and you can have an actual conversation with your friends.

Fra diavolo mussels and vodka pie Pardon the quality (it's a still from a boomerang)

One of my favorite restaurants in bay ridge! The pots of mussels are so delicious. I've been here twice during COVID and ate outside both times. The food here is so good. The mozzarella and tomato salad is always solid and the fried calamari is everything you could ask for. The mussels (fra diavolo and Maine) are super delicious. The mussels are sweet and the broth is delicious. The mussels go great with the spaghetti and also with the fries. The vodka pie was super delicious. As a New Yorker, the crust is not quite what I expected but it's so much better. The crust is super buttery and perfectly thin. I definitely recommend ordering a pie. I always look forward to it. The wait staff seems a bit overworked - everyone is very nice but we did have to wait a long time to get our servers attention. Definitely a solid Italian restaurant in the area especially if you're looking for mussels and pizza!

Mussels in white wine sauce. Do you need to know any more? Ok here we go, came on Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary and owner Jim greeted us and sat us down in dining room. Tables were removed to accommodate social distancing and staff all wore masks. We had Baked Clams and Calamari appetizers and Original Mussels in white wine sauce and Penne with Cajun shrimp and Chicken. Mussels were perfectly seasoned with sauce and portion generous enough to take some home. Same with Penne it had just enough heat but not overwhelming in a cream sauce it was excellent. Yeah I took some of that home too. They have added a pizza oven and have a bunch of varieties to choose from like lobster pizza, margarita and a dozen more. Great choice for our special occasion. Worth a try in. Bay Ridge.

Penne a la Vodka, Fresh Guacamole and Chips, French Fries, and bread!

The food is AMAZING! My drink was delicious. There is a wide variety of food on the menu. I got my food/apps/drinks so quickly. They're very nice and attentive. I would 100% come back. Prices are so reasonable!!

I've been craving mussels for a while, I'm so happy that I was in the area and stopped in again after an eternity. I was immediately greeted and seated. I had the pleasure of interacting with Joaquin and Nikkita. Extremely professional, warm and welcoming. The food phenomenal and I asked for a slight alteration and it was taken care of no questions asked. The owner checked in on everyone which is such an amazing touch. By far a great experience and am looking forward to returning to again!!

Portions are pretty big, food has a lot of flavor. Their soup of the day was seafood bisque, it was my favorite of the items ordered. Nice open space and not crowded when I went. Servers were friendly and attentive.

We started with two perfect oysters which had ikura, ramps, Thai chili oil and coriander flowers. Then sugar snap peas cooked perfectly with a hint of sesame - oil some special kind. But the superstar starter was the leek custard, with a mound of Osetra caviar atop a little dot of wasabi sprinkled with Alyssum flowers. $55 but worth it! Then we moved on to the seafood risotto which was the most toothsome risotto made with Japanese rice - seafood broth - and a mound of fresh red shrimp, razor clams, scallops hint of chili and a bit of mint. Perfection The charred white asparagus with sable fish with Shiro miso and green garlic was a complete surprise - delicious. Another superstar was the soft egg sitting in a sea of blue crab meat - in a brown butter garam salt bath. Served with a crusty baguette that we used to lap up all the amazingly tasty sauce. Unique - unsurpassed in flavor. We ending the savory courses with a lovely steelhead trout surrounded by thinly sliced fresh asparagus and fava beans with this basil and almond. Despite eating every last drop we made room for strawberry rhubarb pavlova. So well prepared. Little bits of crunchy raw rhubarb and nuts added a nice contrast to this often soft dessert. The wines are incredible and we had a Portuguese blend with a Cortes to cema (sp?) Service was beyond excellent. Friendly professional and even fun. Wine knowledge is first class. Hip and cool. The room is small. Getting a reservation is better than winning the lottery but just as challenging ! We love this place!

The atmosphere was super intimate and cozy, and the service was paced really well throughout the night. Some of the dishes definitely could've had a little more flavor or seasoning, especially compared to how hyped up the restaurant is, but there were still a few standout plates that made the meal memorable. My favorites were the clams, the tuna, and the rice dish, all three were so simple but done really well. The tuna especially tasted incredibly fresh and balanced, and the clams had such a light, clean flavor that worked perfectly with the wine. You can tell this is one of those places focused on quality ingredients and a more understated approach to food rather than overly heavy flavors. Overall, really glad we went and it's definitely worth trying at least once, especially if you love sharing plates and trying a bunch of different dishes throughout the night.
