Vision exams with United health are not supposed to cost more than $10 yet this company charges fees here and there. Not good. How can you trust a dr adding extra fees with made up billing codes? Its dishonest they create bogus charges such as "wellness assessment" what's the whole point of a visit? Gonna escalate this to Oregon attorney general. These types of fees need to be stopped and this place needs to be investigated for fraud. read more

So sad I wanted a great relationship with this company. Three strikes and you are out! First issue:Had a eye exam .Doc said besides reading glasses ,a prescription for things like driven would be good. So I said ok let's do driving sunglasses! So we did that. When I got the new glasses ,I could not see things near me in my car. My screen, text, etc. So I said I think prescription wrong. Went in and they said we will check with the doc. Doc said told you that would happen. Uummmm no you did not. I wrote a owner /manager ,she said we believe our doc not you....Two:bought brand new Oakley glasses and they brought out with a cheap Nike plastic glass holder. The first time I got a nice Oakley case. I emailed and said my second appointment went really well but cheap case can I get a Oakley case? Unfortunately no response. Third: Oakley glasses had a issue with the ear sleeves wearing out. I called and asked if I can buy parts needed. A guy answered and said sir your parts are all under warranty. If parts not available you get new frames!I was excited about the great service ...... never got another callback for parts three months later. So sad . read more

My actual visit was good. My issues surround all of the communication before and after my visit. I was scheduled an appointment without being contacted by the office. I called the week before the appointment and told the receptionist that I wasn't able to make the appointment, as I would be at work. I received multiple text messages after that to confirm the cancelled appointment. I called again to confirm that I would not be at the appointment and was told that the appointment didn't show in their system, and that she believed it was an automated program that continued to contact me. I rescheduled for the following week and had a good appointment. After I left, I noticed a few days later that the contact lens samples and my prescription didn't match. I called on a Monday morning, spoke with the receptionist and was told that I would receive a call from the optical technician. I called again Tuesday morning and was told again by the receptionist that I would be getting a call back from the tech. As of today, I have never received a call from the office. I still have glasses to pick up from them and I hope that goes smoother. read more

After three incorrect prescriptions in as many months I finally was able to see, thanks to Dr. Wyner and her team. Not only is my prescription finally correct, their process set a new bar for getting my eyes checked. She is very thorough, patient, and meticulous with her care. Who likes going to the eye doctor really? Not me. I don't like the glaucoma test, I don't like all the weird things you have to look at and I don't like having my eyes dilated. Lucky for me, none of that had to happen. I did pay extra for the fancy machine instead of the glaucoma test, and IMO, it was worth while. I was in and out of there fast and got a super cute pair of glasses that arrived quickly. My only complaint was that the first girl who took me back, clearly had NO clue about what she was doing. She took my BP and it was CRAZY high (both #'s) so when someone else replaced her, I asked that they retake it and it was normal. The doctor was as nice as he needed to be and the rest of the staff was friendly. No complaints here, definitely an easy spot to get your eye care needs sorted. read more

I walked in with two pair of expensive glasses from the same brand and style purchased elsewhere. One of them had a broken arm piece -- essentially useless. The guy who helped me exchanged one arm piece for another, essentially making my most recent prescription like new. For free. In ten minutes. With good humor. I wanted to update this review as I spoke with Brooke, the Practice Manager, who was able to get me a refund for the difference and assured me that there were changes in the work for training at this location. I chose three stars due to the lack of selection for my prescription, disappointment in my actual glasses, and the hours of the office - the only days I can make it in are Fridays/Saturday/Sunday, but they are closed weekends and only open until 11am Fridays. I appreciate Brooke's help very much though, and how fast the refund check got to me. read more

I've been going to MSVC for nearly 10 years now because they are always there to help me when my glasses inevitably have issues or my daughter breaks them, or I simply want to move on to a new pair. If I could give 0 stars I would. Never have I had an eye doctor tell me I'm wrong when I say the new vision prescription isn't right. I've also never had an eye doctor change my prescription without re-examining my eyes to make sure the prescription is right. I've seen all three eye doctors at this location and had the same treatment from all 3. Now I have to go pay for another eye exam out of pocket so that I can see! In addition, both front and back office staff seem to be quite confused. Back office ordered wrong contacts. Front office called me multiple times for the same appointment and couldn't seem to remember that they had already called me. Whole place is a mess. Update: it is incorrect that my contact prescription remained unchanged at every visit - I was given two different prescriptions. It is also untrue that I left satisfied at the last visit. I mentioned that the vision in my left eye was incorrect and I was told that it was good enough. I don't see how any future will be helpful since this office could not get anything right in 3 visits. Each visit my concerns about the new prescriptions being not quite right were brushed off and I was told I was wrong. Still not going back and will never recommend this place. read more

I've needed glasses for more years than I care to discuss, so I've had my share of good and not-quite-as-good experiences. My experiences at Murray Schools have been excellent! Hannah took good care of all the arrangements including insurance, etc. Megan did a great job helping me with the pre-testing, glasses themselves, fit, etc. And Dr. Kari Cline is thorough, competent, and friendly. The whole operation was smooth, on-time, and more fun than one would expect from an eye exam :-) A great experience overall, and one which I recommend wholeheartedly. read more

Definitely go here! The customer service is great. I had Hannah do all the pre-exam stuff and she was knowledgeable about the tests that were done, and I asked plenty of questions. My prescription had changed majorly and I wanted to get back into contacts but was worried because I get stys frequently. Dr. Keri Cline had the brilliant idea to have me try dailies. Oh my gosh such a change, in a great way! And their frame selection is so awesome! I had my heart set on a pair but Hannah made sure I tried on plenty of other frames to make sure I was getting the perfect ones. For someone who doesn't really put much thought into what's current or what truly looks good on my face Hannah was my own hero! read more

She spent over an hour with me and helped me identify frames that not only would look flattering, but work well for my tricky prescription. Terrible experience. Waited for 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment before checking in with staff. Never updated me on running behind. Had to leave and don't plan on returning. Not the same since Dr. Kari left. She wouldn't have allowed that to happen. This office needs some training on Customer Service. read more

I was impressed with Murray Scholls Vision center because they were quick, they were organized, and they helped me pick out perfect frames for my face. Dr. P was great. He didn't make me feel awkward and I thought he was really good. My glasses came to me really fast. They said 7-10 days, but I got them in 5. The clinic itself is also very nice and clean. There isn't a lot of clutter or mess around. They took so much time with me and my dad picking out just the right frames (like about 1 1/2 hours). My dad gave a price range he was willing to pay out of pocket, and they did a great job of just showing me the frames in his price range. Overall, I think this is a great place to get your eyes done. read more

This place is so awesome! If you have a kid who wears glasses, you know you are constantly in need of adjustment and minor repairs and many times they happen when you least expect. My son has complicated vision problems and sees a pediatric ophthalmologist and the associated optical store across the town. It is not possible to run to them everytime we need to. We have never purchased glasses at Murray Scholls Vision Center but they have been always super helpful when we walk in with crooked or broken glasses. They are excellent in customer service and never limit their services to only those who have purchased from them. I am thankful that we have such an awesome business right in our neighborhood. read more
