I've been seeing Dr. Nguyen for well over 6 years, and I refuse to see anyone else! (I won't even…read moresee his partner) I have absolute trust and confidence in Dr. Nguyen, as he's the only eye doctor I've ever had that doesn't overcorrect my vision! Everyone in the office is friendly, nice and patient, and really welcoming! I had a bit of an issue with the new Retina camera (I have sensory issues) as it emits a very high pitched noise (think camera flash charging, but the sound never stops and it's really loud) and they were sooo gracious and patient with me. Incredibly understanding! They let me husband in with some earplugs for me, and I was good to go! They had no issues with understanding this and letting him bring them in for me. I'm also a contact lens wearer, and have gotten many fittings here, and just ordered my first boxes of contacts from them last year as well, and it was great! I got my first pair of glasses done by them last year, and omg I'm in LOVE with them. As a previous patient of Costco, you couldn't pay me to go back there, or anywhere else (they've messed up my glasses so bad, they're unwearable, so I wasted a lot of money) With Comfort Vision, you get what you pay for, and that a very high quality care of your eyes and eye health! They're incredibly detailed, and through, and they really want to make sure you understand what your benefits pay for, etc. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and staff for all that you do, and taking care of your patients so well!

Illegally asking her for a "Kaiser medical insurance" despite having a separate and valid vision insurance is illegal and just stupid. If they can do this to a 7-month pregnant woman , I can't imagine how they treat others.

WASHINGTON PACIFIC EYE ASSOCIATES @ KIRKLAND…read more Parking here can be a little difficult since it's mostly street parking. Just make sure you find a spot that allows two-hour parking rather than 30 minutes. I'd recommend parking on the left side near Jimmy John's or the Overlake Clinic, there's a good amount of street parking on both sides of the road in that area. I came in around 10 AM and the staff were extremely friendly. They asked about my day and how my morning was, which I really appreciated. I signed a couple of papers to get started and provided my insurance information, my mom is also on the insurance, so it was really nice that they already had a primary provider on file. I was quickly taken into a room and completed a few exams. I also received a free wellness exam since my mom is a current member, which was a huge plus. One thing I really liked about this place is that they don't do the air puff test that most eye doctors use. Usually there's a blue light you stare at and a puff of air that can irritate your eyes, so I was preparing myself for that. I was really happy they didn't do that here. Everything felt very subtle, comfortable, and smooth throughout the exam. The doctor was very kind and thorough. I did end up needing glasses, especially for long-distance driving, and the whole process of getting that figured out was quick and easy. I was able to choose my frames right after, and it was a very seamless experience. My total came out to around $100, and my insurance covered a large portion of it. My glasses should be ready within the next two weeks. Overall, I really loved this place. The staff are incredibly friendly, the process was easy, and the care was great. I would definitely recommend stopping by and I would absolutely come back again.

I was in the waiting area and a technician entered. She asked for me and didn't introduce herself…read more In the room where we went, she began an abruptly worded interrogation. "Do you wear glasses?" (Look at my chart...I've been coming here for several years.) I didn't say that...but, began to wonder. I held up my sunglasses and informed her that I wear these and they are prescription sunglasses. Then, she asked if they are sunglasses. What?!? Didn't I just show them and state that? Her feeble attempts at communication went downhill from there. She doesn't listen. It's difficult when someone is only thinking of his/her next question and doesn't listen to your responses. Attitude is everything and hers was anything but friendly. I endured, but... When I'm around that sort of lousy customer service, I start to withdraw. I began responding to her unfriendly demands with brief responses or silence, if the question didn't require an answer. When I asked questions about the procedures, she became defensive...and her answers conveyed a condescending tone/attitude. During the part where she was asking "is number one or number two more clear", I was giving clear answers. She suddenly stopped and demanded to know if I had a problem with her. (Oh boy...here we go...) Her demeanor was totally confrontational and somewhat shocking. In response to her demand, I informed her that she was not being very friendly or welcoming. In an angry tone, she expounded that she is "the friendliest person in the office". (Then, the office is in serious trouble.) I laughed. It was ridiculous. Absurd! She suggested I have a different technician. I quickly agreed to that plan. She turned and walked-out...closing the door as she left. So...by then, I was sitting alone, waiting, and began experiencing a lot of anxiety. I wanted to flee the extremely uncomfortable scene...immediately. I did. I will never return.
