I've been seeing Dr. Nguyen for well over 6 years, and I refuse to see anyone else! (I won't even see his partner) I have absolute trust and confidence in Dr. Nguyen, as he's the only eye doctor I've ever had that doesn't overcorrect my vision! Everyone in the office is friendly, nice and patient, and really welcoming! I had a bit of an issue with the new Retina camera (I have sensory issues) as it emits a very high pitched noise (think camera flash charging, but the sound never stops and it's really loud) and they were sooo gracious and patient with me. Incredibly understanding! They let me husband in with some earplugs for me, and I was good to go! They had no issues with understanding this and letting him bring them in for me. I'm also a contact lens wearer, and have gotten many fittings here, and just ordered my first boxes of contacts from them last year as well, and it was great! I got my first pair of glasses done by them last year, and omg I'm in LOVE with them. As a previous patient of Costco, you couldn't pay me to go back there, or anywhere else (they've messed up my glasses so bad, they're unwearable, so I wasted a lot of money) With Comfort Vision, you get what you pay for, and that a very high quality care of your eyes and eye health! Great friendly staff, no rush, and Dr. Nguyen actually listened to my 'special requests' (I have a difficult to correct right eye that has prevented me from umpiring baseball) - he took great care in diagnosing, and let me try a few variations before we settled on a contact lens presecription. And I was impressed that he tested me with 'real world' scenarios like reading my Android and working on the computer before finalizing. The friendly staff also set me up with a correct pair of readers. Looking forward to umpiring baseball again! Went to my local Comfort Vision Clinic to replace my broken glasses and my experience was enjoyable. The Staff was supportive and friendly. Due to Covid, the Staff had to speak louder through their masks so it was more difficult to hear, but, it all worked out. I had an issue with my issuance that they cleared up in a reasonable amount of time. The eye exam experience pleasant and easy. Dr. Nguyen is very personable and easy to work with. I appreciate his patience and professionalism while performing the exam. The Optician was very friendly and supportive in picking out frames and lenses. Comfort Vision is just OK. I've gone to them for a few years because they're very close to home. But they don't seem as good as they were at first. Their current staff doesn't seem to know how to fit glasses on your face...no bothering with adjusting the temples or ensuring they look straight on your face...all they seem to know how to do is squeeze the nose pads so it fits a little tighter on the nose. I could do that. Also, the frame selection is pretty sparse, not to mention expensive. Then it's always annoying when an optometrist doesn't want to tell you the PD measurement, especially if you're buying lenses from them anyway. I think next time I need an exam and updated prescription I will try someplace else. read more

Dr. Nguyen and his team are great. They have superb customer service and are so knowledgeable with insurance (I never know what will be covered haha)! They always give me enough trial contacts to make sure I like them before ordering and never gave me issues when I didn't like any of the trial ones and asked for others. I've also never been treated as "another customer". The team truly takes the time to make sure you are happy with their service, glasses you chose, and contacts you have to wear. CV has a huge selection of glasses and their turnaround time for frames and lenses is super fast. I needed a new pair of glasses before my trip to Asia and they got it back to me in record time! My insurance recently changed, and I also had to change eye doctors. I made an appointment at Comfort Vision after one of my coworkers had tried and out and been pleased. Having been thrilled with my eye doctor of the last few years, I was not happy about going to a strip mall. When I made my appointment, I had tried to ask for how many days I should wears my glasses instead of my RGP contacts before my eye exam (since RGP contacts change the shape of the wearer's corneas, a fact about which many optometrists are unaware.) The receptionist had no idea what I was talking about, and thought I was asking about some condition with my eyes. "This is not going to be good," I thought to myself. When I arrived for my appointment, the doctor was running late. I wandered around and looked at my options for frames. Much to my surprise, they had a number of really cute, funky frames to choose from. I expected to have a hard time finding one pair of frames I liked, but I actually found a number that I liked. All of my misgivings were instantly laid to rest when I met the doctor. She has high-tech, computerized euipment (along with a randomly-generated eye chart, so no relying on memory!) She was exceedingly knowledgable, was aware of the issues related to wearing rigid gas perm contacts, and determined my new prescription perfectly (which was dramatically different than my previous prescription.) My glasses arrived in under 2 weeks, and I picked them up yesterday. I can't believe how well I can see out of them! They're nearly as good as my contacts, which never happens. Additionally, the office staff are friendly and helpful in terms of picking out frame styles. They do, however, leave a little to be desired in terms of knowledge level, and they didn't do any fitting of the frames to my head and just told me to come back if I felt like I needed an adjustment. Their prices are great, and you can easily find frames for under $200, which is dramatically less than a lot of the boutique-type shops, which even carry some of the same brands. read more

I bought 2 prs of glasses thru Comfort Vision a couple yrs ago. A lens popped out of 1 of them so I called on a monday & was told no one was there that had any knowledge of repairs & that I could just stop in on Tues. for a quick fix, in & out np at all. On Tues I called to make sure it was still possible. At this point, Tina told me it would take a few hrs to tend to this simple fix. I should drop them off & come back tomorrow. I live in a diff. town & this just seems unreasonable that she expects me to waste gas & time for 2 trips to Bothell, Wa. when all I need is an easy repair. This is the second year I've been with them. The first year was good. I only used them for the eye exam but got my contacts at Costco. I was happy as I thought I finally found someone local I could use. I saw them again this year and was even going to get my contacts through them as the diffence in price seem worth it. Well boy was I wrong. At first everything was good. An odd fee here and there in the beginning. I accepted it and ordered my contacts. When I picked up my contacts, bam I was hit with another bill that was accidently left off the first time around. What the heck?! It felt like I had no choice but to pay it since I've already been charged for my contacts and they were basically holding them hostage. If they just told me up front and even told me about the additional fee before I ordered the contacts, I would have been ok with it. But in the end, it felt like I was being scammed. I am definitely not going back. I rather go through the cattle calls at Costco since they are up front with all the fees and bills. read more

The waiting area is very clean and open, plus there were plenty of magazines and frames to look at. Dr. Nguyen was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the process. He was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns. Also, the machine that blows air into your eye, which is usually really strong and startling, was a lot more gentle then I've ever experienced. They also have a great online ordering system for contacts. Dr. Nguyen suggested I try the contacts for a few days before placing the order.
