Patricia answered the phone and after explaining my symptoms she was able to get me in to be seen the next day. She was very calm, thorough, and organized. They had a user-friendly online patient portal to enter my health history and information. My visit with Dr. Bardhardt was pleasant. He was very friendly. He was able to catch that my optic nerves were swollen and he said I needed to be seen by a specialist at Swedish. He and his office worked quickly to get Swedish the information they needed to get me seen and they were in communication with me the whole time. I was able to get in at Swedish within days instead of months all due to their care and attention. And had I waited months, my vision would have been permanently compromised. I highly recommend Dr. Barnhardt because I could tell he and his office genuinely care for their patients. When I eventually do need glasses, I'll be going back!

Patients should be informed of any extra charges before services are performed. I also ran into repeated errors in my new patient information (email and address) that I had to correct multiple times, including again when setting up the patient portal, which was frustrating and time-consuming. On a positive note, the clinic did ask for my consent before performing the contact lens test.

I got a concussion and had two black eyes and needed to be checked out for macular degeneration. . They did so immediately without hesitation. I purchased a pair of glasses from Costco thinking I could cut cost and get quality. Unfortunately that was not the case. The Cosco lenses always seem slightly gray even without sunlight and my vision is not as sharp. Bothell Vision lenses are admittedly, more expensive. However the Bothell Vision frames were under warranty so my new frames were covered. I find my vision, much sharper and clearer, with better depth of vision, with the glasses from Bothell Vision Center.

Last year, I noticed her turning her head a lot, to read or watch tv with just one eye. Plus, she was complaining of tired eyes and headaches, unable to read for more than a few minutes. I thought she just needed reading glasses. Most eye doctors are not trained to recognize this issue, but fortunately, I took her to my ophthalmologist who recognized the symptoms right away and sent us to a vision therapist. I had never heard of such a thing and was so worried for my sweet girl. But Dr. Pearson and his staff were so kind and walked us through every step. Now, after several months of weekly in-office therapy and daily at-home therapy, she is doing great! I feel so grateful that this was caught at such a young age. If you pay at time of service make sure to inspect your bill very carefully because it's a pain to try to get it corrected later if there's a mistake.
