This is from other former employee(s) that was also bullied and harassed

During the interview process it seemed like a great opportunity to get into the health care business I never got proper training. I started to get bullied and harassed after a couple weeks for asking questions and causing issues for a lead that I worked with everyday because of being new. I was told multiple times I was set up to fail. Nothing was fixed or handle properly. Due to the bullying and harassment I put in my notice to be effective immediately.

Information about the clinic from the Medicare.gov website where they are listed as approved for Medicare.

Wow, what a disappointing phone call we just had with this location. My disabled husband was on the phone-- on speaker and he was inquiring about whether he would be able to be a patient because he has Medicare & Medicaid as coverage. We called this location because as you can see in the photos I shared, the Medicare.gov website states they and their providers accept Medicare insurance but he was turned away. After discussing with her manager she informed us they would not see him as a patient because of his Medicare & Medicaid "dual program" insurances. Immediately after him saying "oh, okay, thank you" she said "yeah, bye" and hung up before he could say anything. If this is how you speak to a disabled man who calls I don't want to give you the opportunity of seeing me or our son. A total lack of compassion or courtesy on the phone and I recall from the last time we visited with Medicaid coverage they were incredibly rude. Seems they have a problem being polite and serving disabled and/or underprivileged patients-- then medicine & healing isn't for you.

    Woohoo! I can see! #perscriptionsunglasses

My wife and I visited this clinic before deciding where we would fill our eyeglass prescriptions. It was here or Costco. As it turned out, we went with MC Family Eye Center (MCFEC, this clinic). They were very professional and worked through my indecision with me. My wife knew what she wanted (Zeiss). Anyway, the staff and docs were great and we will be back. If either of us need a cheaper second pair of glasses as a back up, sure, we'll consider Costco again. However, Costco does not cold mount lenses. That's important to know if you bring your own frames. I'll be asking MCFEC if they do. If so, it's a one-stop shop with a lovely lobby and decent choices for frames. Five stars. ;)

I highly encourage everyone to be cautious with their aggressive billing tactics and understand what you're getting yourself into. Or just avoid them and find another "family" oriented eye care professionals in the North Seattle area. Just a friendly warning from a very friendly patient.

My vision has been much worse in the last year or so, so I finally bit the bullet and scheduled a refraction at Town Center Eye. Dr. Hamilton was fantastic! We chatted for a bit, and he took time to understand my eyes. He's the only optometrist I've had who explained why my vision might be getting worse and how exactly he planned to correct it. He spent a good amount of time really dialling in my prescription and assessing my visual processing. He was personable and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend him! The front of the office was also very helpful and knowledgeable. They jumped right to helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. They have a nice selection of frames.

This review is completely about the sales, has nothing to do with the optometrist there…read more I went there asking about the price of a pair of eyeglasses. Amanda told me that my insurance covered the entire price, except for the cost of tier 3 anti-glaring/scratch at $120. (strike ONE) Now, I was thinking, what's the point of paying high premiums for great insurance if I still have to fork over $120 plus tax? Plus, I knew the add-on of tier 3 is optional. So, I threw out, "Why do I have to pay for the $120, tier 3? Can't I just get my glasses without that extra cost?" She said, I "had to pay for it." (strike TWO) So, to get this straight because I didn't want to misinterpret; I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt before going on Yelp, I said, "Is this cost unavoidable? Is it compulsory." She said, yes. (strike THREE) At that point, I said, wow, Amanda really is trying to scam me for a commission. So, I made eye contact with her and 'asked' in a way she would know I knew, "Why can't I go tier 1 and pay $32?" (you're outta here!!!!) Her response: "Uhh, you can." WORD OF WARNING. If you bought glasses there recently and ended up buying the tier 3 anti-glaring/scratch because you 'had to'..... Well, at least it comes with a 2-year warranty, and you made the sales lady happy.

I recently noticed that I was…read morehaving trouble reading projections on the screen, during meetings at work; I decided to check out this place, because it was the first on the list for my insurance. The appointment scheduling was no sweat. I was happy to get my next-day appointment at a reasonable, after work, hour. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by the friendly doctor and staff. After filling out a quick form they took me in and did the exam. Everything went great. She even did the dreaded "blue light" thing (I had no idea what was going on, but my friends later told me my eye was actually being touched by something), and it didn't hurt or cause any irritation. After the doctor flipped through various lenses, she wrote me out a prescription and then explained my insurance glasses allowances. This is where I got a little nervous. I was asking "What is my prescription?" and she would respond with "It's not too bad, but it can be corrected to better." I'm an engineer, so I like to know specs, and after a bit of prodding she finally told me my vision was 20/20, with a slight astigmatism. She was a little defeated sounding as she told me I probably don't need glasses at all, if I don't want them. After I knew the stats, and she mentioned she could correct my eyes to 20/15, I decided to buy some glasses. I mostly wanted crisp vision during meetings, and wasn't looking for continuous wear. They had a wicked clearance deal going on, where certain frames were free with lens purchase. I ended up with a pair for like $20 out of pocket. The lenses were $160--which is a little expensive for low-index lenses... I was not terribly happy that they didn't explain what was included in the $160 lenses. It took over 3 weeks to get my glasses; I called after 2 weeks and they told me my lenses were "delayed" because of a private lab's equipment malfunction. When they "adjusted" my glasses, they didn't get the nose pieces adjusted right, so they don't feel right. The frames the girl helped me pick out squeeze my head fat so it looks a bit weird above my ears. All-in-all, I had a pretty decent experience. I was disappointed by the initial lack of transparency in diagnosis, and also the lack of a clear explanation on what lenses I was ordering, but the price was pretty good with the clearance deal. The wait has been longer than I expected, and I was not terribly pleased with the assistance I received picking out my frames (they ended up being too small). If you know what you want, and are familiar with glasses purchasing, I would imagine this place would be perfectly sufficient. I would avoid it if you're a n00b like myself, and need help.

Grave mistake: the frame unscrewed twice and I took it in for reconnection, then the weld broke, they fixed the first time and then the other weld broke. Second time they did not fix it: " it was not under warranty". Upon my inquiry, the answers was rude: "we fixed it once". No further comment, nor a resolution to my issue. Recently they had the nerve of calling me for my check up: fat chance! This business is not honest. I will NEVER use it again. Beware!

Attitude is everything and hers was anything but friendly. I endured, but... When I'm around that sort of lousy customer service, I start to withdraw. I began responding to her unfriendly demands with brief responses or silence, if the question didn't require an answer. When I asked questions about the procedures, she became defensive...and her answers conveyed a condescending tone/attitude. During the part where she was asking "is number one or number two more clear", I was giving clear answers. She suddenly stopped and demanded to know if I had a problem with her. In an angry tone, she expounded that she is "the friendliest person in the office". (Then, the office is in serious trouble.) I laughed. It was ridiculous. Absurd! She suggested I have a different technician. I quickly agreed to that plan. She turned and walked-out...closing the door as she left.
