This office has all of the latest equipment and he was super patient through all my unsure answers (Dr. B: "Number 1, or Number 2?" Me: "um... could you do that again?"). After getting a new prescription and testing out some contacts, he sent me home with a bunch of trials that would tide me over until I could get the full year contacts ordered. They also have a great glasses selection - I could have picked out at least 6 different pairs that I would have been happy with! Overall, a great experience and I have definitely recommended them to my friends and family.

Minus his eyes getting dilated (he's two and yes it was a struggle for those drops to go in because he just didn't want them in his eyes) but he was praised and treated so kindly (bless their souls!). They even caught a stigmatism that was missed by my previous eye doctor which made a big difference on how I saw things. Now where star were lost were: 1. I feel as if this clinic kinda nickel and dimes you. Of all the vision clinic's I've been to over the years, this is the only place I can't seem to go to w/o always having to pay for something out of pocket. If it's covered by insurance there's something that they say it isn't and it'll cost you. To top it off, their products are pricey with regards to frames, lenses, contacts, services, etc. My last visit I had at Mill Creek Vision for my annual preventative eye exam, but they got me out of pocket for contact lens fitting (which I thought was covered my insurance, but they claim it isn't), Anyhoo, afterwards I asked for copies of my glasses and contact prescriptions and took them to Costco and purchased all my hardware there (despite jumping through some minor insurance hoops to get my annual hardware allowance back-which I did). Gotta tell ya, definitely more cost effective going that route. 2. But the biggest loss of stars in my rating is due to their front desk staff. A staff that DOES NOT know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE and lacks a certain amount of professionalism. They are very condescending in how they talk and treat their customers. I base this on how they were with me and my family and how I observed them with other customers while I waited. There is one or two who stand out. If you've been there you probably know who I'm talking about. Anyhoo, they will make you feel as if you are interrupting them, putting them out for "Doing their job". They don't always do what is best for the patient/customer so if you don't ask, or question something chances are it'll get overlooked, ignored and you might get over charged or something forgotten. It doesn't help also that they seem to rush you at check in and during check out so they can get back to finger blasting their keyboards or phones. Again based on personal experience. The first three appointments I was able to schedule me and my family for the same day. If there's availability why not? Last time I tried to do it and despite open availability they denied it. Their reason I was told on the phone, they CAN'T schedule more than two family members at a time. WHAT? REALLY? So I ask why not, you've done it before and they tell me that it's policy. I try and continue to ask specifics about this policy and I'm told again, it's their policy and something about cancellation issues. Yeah whatever, I figure they're just being lazy. Policy or not, kinda ridiculous that they can't accommodate two adults and a child on the same day...oh wait a minute they have! but not today. Then there's a test that they do that looks at the back of your eyeball. You'd think it's a test that SHOULD be standard to an eye exam. It is an eye exam after all...it isn't so it'll cost you since it's NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE as part of your PREVENTATIVE CARE. Of course you can pass and instead they dilate your eyes for free I think (or maybe that'll cost you as well, I don't know, but what I do know, I've had that same test in other clinics and it was covered by insurance). Trying to get them to explain results in dirty looks and a mean-girl attitude...an no REAL explanation. So the "face" of the business does not make a good impression and they obviously don't realize that it's just as important as the service provided. This would be my 4th appointment to this vision clinic, but the front desk staff attitude has been pretty much consistent through out. So me and my family will probably be on the look out for another vision clinic. Too bad their front desk staff doesn't have the same customer service skills their optical staff does.

The lenses definitely have some of the best blue light blocking and anti-glare coating-coming from someone with sensitive eyes and severe astigmatism. The other employees were helpful and friendly. They helped me very well when I decided to go back for a second pair with color tinted lenses.

I have been wearing glasses and contacts since I was 6 and never had to do this. So I rescheduled my appointment for when I had enough to pay for the exam. Saw Dr. Ma whose awesome and prescribed Acuvue Osasys. They gave me two small boxes to try out they worked ok. Then I got the order of the big boxes and tried to wear these with makeup. The contacts became so dried out and blurred to wear you can't see out of them. I called VisionWorks, they said I had to come in and talk with the doctor because maybe I am not wearing the contacts correctly. So I cane in and talked to Dr. Ma. She had never heard of the reaction I had but agreed to switch to Dailies contacts instead. Got them and wore them at work today with makeup and they worked amazingly! Called VisionWorks back and they told me that because I opened the box of the Acuvue I cannot exchange my contacts and would need to pay an additional $250!!! Not one person told me not to open the first boxes I received in order to exchange them. I feel like I have been scammed. They wouldn't even give me the new prescription with the Dailies or give me a blank prescription to use at Hubble Contacts until I can use my vision benefit next year. DO NOT GO HERE FOR VISION CARE!!! Over priced and a complete scam!

Very friendly staff and never once did I feel rushed in and out like another number customer. They didn't let me leave until I picked the frames I wanted and again when I returned to make sure they fitted I have have driven 30 minutes out of my way, but it was certainly worth my time.

However once I actually arrived for the examination, I was told it would be an extra 30-50 dollars to get my contacts fitted even if I knew what contacts I liked. So really I was looking at 195 dollars. I made it clear that this was ridiculous and they should have told me about this earlier. The doc was nice to give me a slight discount. Anyways while the doctor was knowledgeable be aware that contact examination will likely be a 195$ instead of 145$. Having hidden cost is ridiculous.

She was very thorough, professional, and communicative, with a kindly manner. Her exam and care for me was exceptional. The Costco crew who ordered and fit the glasses were great as well: efficient, professional, patient, and friendly. They are first come, first serve, so weekdays are best. I was there on a Wednesday mid-afternoon and had little wait. I have previously ordered glasses online and had dubious results. I appreciate anew having someone fit me in-person, plus their pricing is comparable.
