Very poor communication and a complete waste of my partner's time. After my partner had his eyeglasses exam, we looked into getting glasses there. The front desk explained the insurance allowance and gave us a quote, but once a frame was chosen, multiple extra fees were suddenly added. The final price was nowhere near the allowance we were originally told. None of these additional costs were explained upfront, and the information given by the front desk was misleading. On top of that, my partner had a scheduled contact lens appointment, which was canceled only one hour before because the clinic suddenly claimed "training" was required--despite him already being a contact lens wearer. This requirement was never mentioned when the appointment was scheduled. Between the hidden fees, last-minute cancellation, and lack of clear communication, this experience was extremely frustrating and a total waste of time. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone expecting transparency or professionalism. read more

Been coming to Monroe vision clinic for years. Great place ! Doctor Stan takes good care of you and explains what he is seeing and what is happening with your eye health. Very helpful and kind. I was a first time patient and it felt like it was a very rushed mechanical process. I left feeling confused and with out any information, nothing was explained to me, I was handed a card with a prescription, I wasn't asked if I had any questions or concerns and I was shown the door. I left with out any solution, without any offer of glasses, different types of lenses that could be needed or not, I have no clue because I wasn't told anything and I was a brand new patient. I will not be returning, they did not seem like they wanted me to be a returning patient I felt a little teary eyed as the clerk tried to schedule an appointment for me as I just wanted to get out of there and decided to not come back, i was overwhelmed from the frustration and disappointment. read more

Didn't think I'd be leaving an eye doctor review, but it is really deserved. Appointment started on time. Tests were quick and efficient. Only waited about 5-10 min for Dr. Mason Schneider. During the entire visit, at no point did I feel stressed or pressured. The doctor's bedside manner was also spot on. When it came to get glasses, they were not pushy. Went over what I was looking for. The prices were straightforward and expected. Super excited to continue my yearly exams here. read more

I finally decided to switch vision clinics to one closer to home and I am happy I made the switch. The office itself is beautiful and easy to find. The front desk staff had my paperwork ready and the check in process was seamless. My provider was Dr. He and she is fantastic. She was very through, and answered all my questions. She is very genuine and made sure to get my new contacts to try and reviewed my old prescription with me. I highly recommend this office ! read more

First of all, this place is beautiful! Some vision centers are blaaaaand, this is well-lit, and right when I walked in I was greeted with "good morning" from at least 3 different people. Overall pleasant. They also have a big selection of frames which is nice. The girl who took me back to start doing my testing was so sweet. The doctor was SO thorough. After checking my eyesight, she had me put contacts in with what she thought would be my new prescription, then DOUBLE checked to make sure by testing again - even checked the fit of my contacts. I've never had a doctor do that. 100% recommend this place. read more

My children and I have been coming here for a couple years. I am out-of-network with my vision insurance, but I don't mind paying out-of-pocket because this clinic is well worth it. They are thorough, clean, and friendly. We will definitely continue to keep coming here! read more

I have been going to Monroe Vision Clinic for 6 years and everyone is very friendly and professional. Dr. He is wonderful. I have very sensitive eyes and the slightest change in my glasses throws my vision off. Needless to say I am in the office at least twice a month getting my glasses adjusted. While everybody in the glasses department is so nice I have had the pleasure of having Lisa adjust my glasses and she is AMAZING! She is kind and always listens to what I am experiencing and just fixes it. She is new to the office but she knows her stuff. I am so glad she is there. read more

Getting my prescription and new glasses here was nice and easy. They were very busy but they kept everything moving and worked to find glasses that would work for me. Times outside of work hours were harder to find selection was smaller than a lot of eye glass stores I have been to. read more

My whole family goes there. They have amazing customer service and doctors. Just had my 5 year daughter go there to get her vision checked. Had taken her to a previous place that my pediatrician recommended. They were horrible to me and my daughter. Completely made her scared to get her eyes checked. Then Dr. Lee gave her an exam and was so wonderful with her and completely made her comfortable and not scared. This place is too notch so happy we found them. read more

I've been trying to find a new place to glasses for a while. I went to ths place last time and was not super pleased with them, but it's been a while so... I've noticed with the reviews, for eyeglass places that they are either great or terrible. I see all these 5 star reviews so guess I the one off here. My wife and I just did not have a good experience in trying to get new glasses from Monroe Vision. It was all good until the glasses came back and did not work. Of course you get the standard line of "well you got to get used to them". NO NO NO, I say to that. they used multi-million dollar machines to measure my eyes, yet I'm the one that has to adjust to the glasses. Again, NO! So instead of just copping to "we got it wrong", I get made to feel that I'm the one with the problem. And if that is not bad enough, then I have to wait over two weeks, to get them back and have to initiate the call to see if they are there yet. The first time the answer was that " oh they just came in and we just about to call you".- Oh Yeah sure! the second time their "system" failed to notify us. Initially it only took 6 days to get them back. It really felt more like i was being punished for "being the problem". Heck they are the doing all the measuring and making the glasses. They are the ones that got it wrong. So in the end, I had to have mine redone once; my wife, twice. They still could not get them right. We gave up. I can see using my new ones but only if I'm looking directly thru the middle of them. My wife's are worthless to her. So pretty much of a waste of my money ($500) and time( 4 months). I would like to let my insurance know that they paid for glasses that are pretty much worthless. But hey got some new frames, sweet! read more

Huge difference from my experience 2 years ago. I just had an eye exam today and it was a breeze compared to last time. The front desk staff and Dr then were rude, rushed,and in a hurry to be somewhere. There has been such a great improvement now. The front desk staff are polite and answered any questions that I had. Amy and Dr Trong were pleasant and explained instructions in a calm and professional manner. I also appreciated their attempts at small talk and getting to know their customers. It was a relaxing experience despite the fact I hate eye exams. I would recommend going here :) read more

I highly recommend them. I had complications after another doctor from Bellevue Lasik & Cataract did cataract surgery on my eye. That doctor was totally unhelpful and rude but Dr. Hanson -Brown from Monroe Vision Clinic was extremely caring and knowledgeable. She took the time to listen and was creative in finding a solution to heal my eye. The staff there are also friendly and helpful. read more

I have been a patient here for a few years and I will admit I HATE EYE EXAMS... But they do a pretty good job of making them less painful. I know most people hate the dentist but something about people up close and personal with my eyes freaks me out!! The optometrists (I've seen two different ones) here are very helpful and efficient. I was annoyed they made me upgrade to a $20 photo of my eye because I didn't want to get my eyes dilated. However they have lots of options for glasses and have lots of appointments open almost every day of the week which is really nice. read more
