Not great. The past few times we've gone here, we've left feeling underwhelmed and last night was no exception. First, it wasn't busy and the service was AWFUL. We were seated then waited 10 min before I had to ask someone to send over a waitress, which took another 5 min. The waitress was clearly new because she knew nothing about the menu. I asked what was in the featured drinks, didn't know. Asked what the rotating SunKing and Indiana City beers were, didn't know. Asked about one of the draft beers, i.e. what kind of beer it was, didn't know. She had to go to the bar 3 times to get answers before we even put in our drink order. Look, I get when someone's new - but she should be required to have all that info written down on a cheat sheet in her order book so a) it doesn't impact the customer experience; and b) she actually learns the menu. I ordered one of the specials "Bourbon Pineapple Pork Medallions." The salad came with it, and the iceburg was so drenched in water it was tough not to just taste water. Typically medallions are circular cuts of pork tenderloin... this was not. It was 2 pieces of buttered, fried pork tenderloin. Tasted pretty good, but was not at all what I thought I'd ordered (and definitely not as healthy.) The broccoli was under-steamed/too crunchy, and the potatoes lacked flavor. Finally, when we paid, I noticed while the specials said my entree was $17, they charged us $19. Not a huge deal/worth arguing over, just seemed shady. Next time we go to Murphy's, we'll go to the one on Fox Rd - the food and service have always been better there. read more

We usually always love the supreme pizza here. The last few times it wasn't good. Just got a supreme today. Cost was $27.00 for a large. The toppings were very scarce and so was the cheese. The sauce was very heavy. This used to be the best pizza in Fishers, but no longer. Very disappointed. read more

I used to love this place. It used to be a guaranteed good meal. It used to be a solid go-to. It used to be. Back then it was all thumbs up and 5 stars. I was introduced to Dreaming Tree Crush Red Blend wine here. Now they don't carry it. It used to be a great family or date night place. Last time we were here (which was about 4 months ago), we were seated in the bar and a loud, very obnoxious, very drunk group were also in the bar ... which is a very small area and hard to miss conversations. One by one they all left and got in their cars and went home. The memory still raises an eyebrow. We tried again last night.... It is Fall Break and we thought it would be tame. We walked in and a singer guitarist was playing in the bar (see above - very small). We spied one booth as far away from this area as we could get and decided to stay. The guy was good - it was just overpowering. Kudos to them the place was packed - during Fall Break. Things are looking up, right? Then I got the bad news about the wine - by the way Wednesday is 1/2 price wine bottles! That hurt. The waitress suggested another red blend that is on tap. My husband ordered his usual bottle beer and a shot of Jameson, straight up. My wine tasted weak and the Jamo shot was cold and tasted watered down. Hmmmm.... The waitress said no problem and brought back a fresh Jamo and specifically said "here you go, neat". Apparently he should have said "neat" and not "straight up." I just googled this and "neat" and "straight up" are used interchangeably when it comes to spirits usually drunk at room temperature. But either way it caused us to discuss... was the drink ordered by someone else and not used so they dumped the ice and gave it to us? We'll never know. She also read the list of 4-5 Cabs they had in a bottle and I chose one of those. We're back on track now! I ordered the Black & Bleu Steak Tips (beef tip Cajun rubbed crab cake, topped with our blue cheese cream sauce over rice pilaf). (The words "bleu" and "blue" were their spellings). I can't tell you anything about the crab cake part bc it wasn't there. The blue cheese cream sauce should have initiated more questions with the waitress - my bad. The plate looked like the Arroz Con Pollo I get at the local Mexican place we go to. There was not a hint of that delicious bleu cheese bite that I was after. Pairs so well with Dreaming Tree Crush Red Blend too! This entree came with a soup or salad and I chose the French Onion Soup. Tasty cup, 4 breadcrumbs and some cheese - it was really good. I'm not a fan of digging thru mostly cheese and bread to get the soup - so if that's what you like, you'd be disappointed. My husband ordered the Meat @ Murphy's thin crust pizza (GF and Cauliflower crust available for an up charge). It was just what we expected - good! A manager perhaps?? Stopped by the table and asked how things were - I don't usually do this but I said he'd have to convince me there was bleu cheese in that dish. (Let alone the crab!). I suggested adding a few crumbles of bleu cheese (or even blue cheese) to convince me they used it in the sauce. He gave me the thumbs up. I would not order this again. Which leads to the 3 stars - as my husband said - it's called Pubhouse for a reason. Just order pub food - pizza and burgers and a beer - and you'll be fine. But wasn't Murphy's Steakhouse an Indianapolis staple for generations? Yes, but they don't call it Steakhouse anymore, do they? read more

The food used to be amazing. Best burger I've ever had. I usually only order for delivery or to-go so I can't say anything about the service, although the host/hostess' are always kind. The ambiance is like any local bar with food. Busy and a little loud. I just got home with a to-go order for two people. One salad with protein and one bun-less burger. $50 later, we get home to find out that the beef patty is literally 50% of the size it has been in the past. And, the burger is now more expensive than it has previously been. I can't fathom spending $50 on bar food and still being left hungry afterward -- again that is. read more

Usually the food is good but I ordered salmon & it was served super dry! I was surprised as I've had it a couple before & it was good. The calamari app was very good. I like this place but its a little over priced. Our server asked how the food was & I told her my salmon was very dry & over cooked. I didnt want to waste it & make me a new one so she gave me beurre blanc sauce to dip & it was waaay better! I didnt catch her name but she saved the day (my hubby dipped his steak in it to)! Last night was my first and will be my last visit. We sat at the bar. The bar tender ignored us. Got our food, then had to wait forever for silverware, then our food was cold. They forgot our soup. I asked for sour cream for my potato skins. The bar tender acted like I was bothering him. My drink he made was absolutely disgusting. We have just moved to town and my parents came down to go to dinner. We were trying to find some where new to go and stumbled upon Murphy's. We thought we would give it a try and I am glad we did. We loved the atmosphere of the place. There was a live band playing who sounded really good and my daughter had fun dancing. We loved our waitress Amy! She was a straight shooter and told you how it was. I loved that she asked for my daughters order to come out before our meals. Being as she is one and can get a little impatient or hangry. We had the bourbon burger and whiskey bbq burger which were delicious! The salads were also yummy with their homemade ranch. We will definitely be back in the future! read more

Some high top tables once you walk in with the bar on the north side and lower eating tables to the south. 14-16 wooden bar stools with black padded seat and back support. Wooden bar with a classic wooden rail. Back bar has lighted bottle shelves and multiple TVs. Crowd is exactly as you'd expect for the Fishers suburb. Family friendly. read more

I've been a few more times and I just feel the quality of their food is going down. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but then today a co worker wanted Irish so I recommended this place as it's nearby and he was searching the menu wondering where the authentic Irish dishes are like corn beef and cabbage and then I realized oh wow besides the Rueben there's nothing Irish about the place except the decor of some 4 leaf clovers. Really disappointing to realize that and then our lunches weren't anything over the top- average. Although I did like the French fries. Kind of overpriced for the quality of food you get. read more

We've been here twice now and they are very consistent with food and service! If you enjoy steaks I definitely recommend their fillet! So nice and soft just how I like my steaks. My husband has had two different sandwiches from them also both were awesome! I definitely recommend giving them a try! They have some weekday deals also. Choosing Murphy's was a solid choice after the bad place we just came from (see my one star review of Rails). Service was on-point and attentive. The sound of the TVs were a bit too loud, but it was football Sunday so what do you expect? Here's a tip......the second you sit down order the garlic Parmesan pub fries. Crispy, greasy and garlicy goodness! "Yes and I'll have another order please" I'm sure that's not Keto. I also got the half rack of ribs that fell off the bone you can't go wrong. Now, having said that, it wasn't all rainbows and garlic fries; the loaded baked potato had been sitting too long so it wasn't the best, and my girlfriend's pizza had a frozen pizza taste. I still give it a four star since I've been here before and it's always a good choice.
