What an incredible menu. From hot dogs to Grecian chicken this place does it right. Today we ordered creamy chicken and rice soup, gyros, a beef and cheese fries. Beef 3.5. Flavorful but I didn't care for the bread. Gyros 5.00 could not have been better Soup 4.5 yummy Fries 5.0 fantastic Service 5.0 5 stars for total experience! I left stuffed because the portions are huge and the prices are great. Place got busy fast; it's because the food is great.

I ordered for the first time and let me tell you the FOOD is delicious. I enjoyed it The SERVICE makes me never want to return again. I ordered door dash and the app doesn't give me an option to make special requests like add packets of ketchup, hot sauce etc. but I at least expected eating utensils. I called the store to advise ( knowing they couldn't Re deliver) I just wanted to vent. I was advised That I didnt choose eating utensils that's why I DONT have them. I advise it wasn't an option and after spending 50 bucks I would at least expect a fork. Also the app says buy one get one free for the hot dog and you only gave me one. I advised you of this and you stated you don't have specials. Welp, Here's the proof.

Hot Dog joints are a mystery. You never know! But I'd rather be Lucky than Good. Today was a lucky stop along RT. 38. Solid Dog with an abundance of freshly prepared condiments that include a sweet tasting root vegetable and a generous slather of yellow flavoring. A tasty little number held together by a hard working bun.

St. Mary's Park and then Wheeler Park in Geneva. We wind up on Third Street and head toward the train station and always stop at our favorite little lunch place--Deane's Market & Deli. Start off with the tomato basil soup--SO good! Then we'll often split a sandwich, such as the roast beef (with any number of variations for cheese, bread, sauce). There's a nice case of drinks--sodas, teas, lemonade, water--from which to choose, as well as little bags of kettle cooked chips, also with several varieties. You order at the counter, take a seat (but be forewarned, it can get busy), and then some young person will come by with a tray of your food. While you wait, you can peruse the super cute kitchen items for sale, including seasonal tschotches, dishes, bowls, bottles, linens--you never know quite what you'll find, but we often can't resist one thing or another. Anyway, sated and fortified, we head back across the river using the double bridge (pedestrian below, railroad above), through Island Park and then back home. It's our weekend ritual and we love it. (The only reason I give it four stars is because the prices are a bit high, IMHO. I had half a grilled cheese sandwich the other day for more than $7.)

We went to the shop (on Franklin, just around corner of 3rd street and Franklin) to check out what it is. Upon entering the shop, it has a cozy vibe with resources (cookbooks), ingredients, and snacks that are gluten free. Then you'll see the counter with cases displaying different types of gluten free pasta. You can order to eat in the shop (there are some seatings, and when it gets warmer, there will be outdoor seatings). On the other side of the counter, we could see couple staff were making GF pasta online the counter. It's too bad that we filled up with brunch before seeing this place. We ended up buying a loaf of GF sourdough bread, and a box GF pasta (dry, but made by the business) for dinner. The person who rang us up (presume to be the owner) explained that we could order freshly pasta online, and will be ready within a day. Here's the verdict: the pasta we made at home was really good. My husband is celiac, and I'm not. I can honestly say that the pasta is as good as any classic pasta made with wheat flour. I have had other pasta that I can tell straight away that it is gluten free, but this one we really enjoyed it. The bread was quite good as well, and my recommendation would be to toast the bread to freshen it up. I didn't have any pictures, but will add when we visit again! If you need GF pasta, definitely should check out Ugly Noodle!

I had the roast pork apple sandwich and my friend got the signature salad, and we split the bourbon pecan pie, all of which were delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive even though it was busy, and other servers also kept an eye on bussing empty plates from our table. Parking is across the street; both crosswalks had steps leading down from the parking lot. Would certainly return for the cafe!
