Today we got a raw pizza which we paid $40 for it. They clearly state that it will take an hour to cook. We got our pie in 26 min or so... then the lady manager told me how the process goes... yes I told her you still deliver a raw pie... I asked for a complete refund and I got 16.28 back... thank you Jimmy John's for backing us up... never again will we order from Sugar Grove Paisanos.. if you are the owner read this and correct your management and process..

One was the Zach attack (sausage, Italian beef and giardinara) and the other was a customized veggie pizza, plus a side of cheesy bread. We did order pickup since we lived ~15 mins away in the backroads. The location was easy to find, and parking should be easy since it is in a big lot. Depending on the time, it could be hard to find but in Plano...I doubt that. The service was great. There was a lot of friendly people I encountered. When I got home, the smell was amazing. The cheesy bread was very cheesy. It contained, probably, at least a 1lb of cheese. The side was sauce was delicious and I liked how it was a thick pizza sauce and not runny. Maybe it was due to the 15 min drive, but I thought these pizzas were tavern style... thin and crispy. While the pizza was delicious, it was thin but it was not crispy. It was just a basic thin pizza. However, it had a lot of toppings on it! My wife got the double dough, and for a 12" pizza...it was too much dough for her. She said she will like to try the normal next time. Overall, the pizza was great. The quality was top notch. Flavors were there for a great pizza. I live in an area that my options for pizza is Papa Johns, Domino's, or Pizza Hut... if I had to compared to those local ones... Uncle Lars is 20 out 10, if not more. However, for a pizza itself... it was still delicious and I would get them again. Since the location is easy and they do have a decent amount of tables (depending on when you arrive)...I may try eating in next time.

Slow does not begin to describe the service. They looked well staffed but not attentive to say the least. My wife and I have been sitting down for an hr and have been asked if we need anything a total on once. When we meet our server and found out how lucky we were to sit in her section. At first I thought it was our server but than I watched as the table next to us slowly wither away as they waited 20 mins for their server to get them a refill on water. Then have the balls to say "I'll check back with you tomorrow..." Will not be coming back anytime soon. It is taking every decent part of myself not to walk out now as I am not sure if she put our food in... The food... not especially good. The pulled pork taco had no flavor, no spice, no sauce to add something. Just some dry bread with some flavorless smoked pork and a little salad on top to make it look like a taco. Not impressed. My wife has the the Cedar plank Salmon and had to pretty much eat the middle and only where there was some of the glaze because the rest of the fish was over cooked and dried out. Really sad we needed to wait around 2hrs for one overpriced drink and some bad food served slow and with an attitude of "why are you bothering me..." from our server. My wife and I both have served for a few years and always give the benefit of the doubt to our server on a busy night. This was not the case and our second experience in as many times going to Open Range. read more

Really impressed with the new look of this place! Staff is always friendly & go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. Brisket is fantastic, as well as the GIGANTIC burritos & burgers. We love coming in for the fish fry on Friday nights & always look forward to the fresh salad bar & homemade soups! This place is a great place with amazing food, service, & entertainment. First off I must clarify, when we come here we generally just sit at the bar, and the bartenders are excellent. So.....we do not really have experience with the wait staff. That said, the food is great, bar prices reasonable. If you are a sports nut, there are screens every where. This is a Sports Bar "on" a golf course, not a "Country Club". read more
