What a great little spot! Perfect place to take our young kids for dinner and games. It's not super big, but that is actually a better fit for our children's ages. We've done birthday dinners here as just a family, and a Preschool graduation dinner with grandparents, aunts and uncles - both have been great! Had good pizza along with about a dozen classic arcade games to play. It also had a sign on the wall that said, "Gamers don't die, they respawn." More modern games could've been nicer, still somewhere I'd like to come back to. I ate so much pizza that you could consider me a national threat. This pizza impressed me because it's exactly how I like pizza. I don't care for deep dish or thin crust. I like balance in the sauce, cheese, and toppings. Too many pizza places overdo it with the sauce and/or cheese and it just creates a sloppy mess and, when it cools, a textural nightmare. This pizza's crust is perfect--it's crispy, but it's not super thin. It can actually hold the toppings. There's a good amount of sauce and it has a nice flavor of tomatoes and herbs. The cheese is nicely browned on top, and also a great amount. I like cheese but it's gross when it's just glommed on. The bites of sausage on top have great flavor and, most importantly, they don't have the weird squidgy texture of cheap meat. I can't speak to the restaurant experience because we ordered delivery. The service insofar as fulfilling the order was fine--the food arrived in a reasonable timeframe considering it was clearly freshly made. It was a touch on the pricey side for pizza but I think still reasonable given how filling and delicious it is. read more

I went there today for the first time and I can say I was very impressed. You can tell that a lot of heart and quality goes into the food prepared, and you can truly taste the quality. The location is easy to get to and the ambiance is a nice little location with a few tables and pretty simple. Obviously the main idea would be to pick up and go or have a quick slice or sandwich. We very much enjoyed our pizza and I love that they had a deep dish option--my one suggestion would be to add more cheese to the deep dish because the only opportunity missing was the nice cheese pull that you expect with a deep dish slice. Overall though it was very delicious and tasty. The service was amazing, you can tell the owner puts a lot of love and pride into his food and I look forward to trying more items on their very large menu filled with many options. Overall, the pizza is pretty good but expensive. The service definitely needs improvement, though. They often forget to include the sauce with appetizers (which are also expensive). Beyond that, they use third-party delivery drivers that don't have pizza bags so an expensive meal arrives lukewarm. If they fix the service issues and offer regular promotions to offset the price it would be a five-star regular stop. read more

My 1st visit to Planet Pizza was a great experience. Ordered rib tips and fries and they passed the taste test 100% we also ordered an Italian beef with mozzarella. I am super picky about my IB and this one was one of the best I have ever had . I highly recommend trying this place out . The prices were very reasonable also . Fast service and friendly staff . I was hesitant to try this place thinking it was going to be Chuck E. Cheese style because of the name but I couldn't have been more wrong. This place has incredibly quality pizza the prices are fair and the ingredients were very fresh. The appetizers are also great and should not be overlooked. NEVER AGAIN. The first 2 times my husband and I tried it, it was great! The last 2x have been god awful. Simple enough, half pepperoni& pineapple, half sausage & pepperoni. Cook it a little longer. The crust was too thick, hurt my teeth, tasted like crap, burnt, and it wasn't half and half. It was all 3 throughout the Whole pizza. Now I have a menu and I call my order in. It is always ready when they tell me how long it will take. Nothing is premade or processed. Fresh ingredients real pizza sauce not tomato sauce. The pizza is excellent. It's made like it was years ago when there was no short cuts. You want great pizza or any food item go to Planet Pizza. You won't be disappointed.
