This is a solid 4 stars. I have been coming here for years, usually just for a slice of pizza and would watch sports during my lunch break. Perfect combo. The restaurant is always clean and never ran into en employee that didn't seem happy to work there. That's a huge plus I just ordered a large deliver order for work yesterday. I called before business hours and they were able to get the delivery to us just after 11 and it was piping hot. Very impressed with the quality and time it took to get the order to us, correctly. The pizza is great quality as well. I still prefer their slices of hand tossed dough and their specialty slices but you can still never go wrong with their thin crust read more

The less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel makes it so easy to come here. This is my 4th visit on night 8 of my 9 night stay in Yorkville. The Chicken Parmesan Sandwich on garlic bread was delicious! The French fries are totally on point. Service is fantastic and the music was better tonight (classic rock) than last night (country.) Happy I chose Rosati's over Popeye's (next door) tonight! read more

Pizza was crispy, yum! Waitstaff very friendly! Lots of TVs! Warm inside/very cold outside! What more could you ask for!! Oh yeah, we saved pizza box tops and received half off our extra large pizza!! Because it's extra large, you need to stress to them to make it crispy, otherwise the center could be not crisped up. read more

Best pizza and service in the northern IL area. The food is always great. You cannot get any better pizza or Italian beefs anywhere else.

Showed up at our pickup time and was told our food was given away to another customer by accident. Although my full name was listed on the receipt, I can understand that it was just an honest mistake. We were then asked to wait awhile for them to remake the pizza but turns out they later realized they did in fact have the original (now cold) pizza ready to go the entire time. Halfway through eating said cold pizza, we notice there's a long hair baked into the crust. Safe to say we probably won't be ordering from Rosati's again! read more

This was my first time ever visiting a Rosati's restaurant, the scenery, service & food in the Yorkville location were all a great experience! I highly recommend the dough nuggets!! I think anyone who enjoys pizza & a great atmosphere will appreciate what this place offers! read more

Normally, I would rate this place a 5. Last night when we went, we ordered a large half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. When it came it appeared to be undercooked. We asked the server to please take it back and cook it longer. After going to the kitchen she said the cooks could not do that and ensured it was cooked to perfection. We ended up eating the undercooked pizza - as it is normally a crispy crust. This was not. Of this was my first time there, I would not be back. read more

TJ Banning (the owner of this location along with others) gave no one a notice that everyone at the Mendota location would be be losing their jobs. People had come into work and started to prep for their shift when they were sent home and told that the business is closed. Instead of having a meeting and informing staff members, he decided to make a Facebook post telling everyone he'd be mailing their checks. Then a post was immediately made to the public and then turned off comments on their post and deleted all negative ones that made them look bad. Since it's strictly a financial decision that affected many people's livelihood, I'm asking that you reconsider giving this average tasting and over priced pizza restaurant your money. He struggled since Covid and couldn't financially recover so instead of communicating that with anyone in the Mendota location he closed without notice. In this economy he left countless families unable to know where their source of income was going to come from to be able to pay their bills. UNPROFESSIONAL. Again, since it's strictly financial, give your money to a pizza/pasta place that appreciates their staff and actually has quality food within the right price range, because this one isn't worth it. read more

Rosati's Pizza - Horrible management. - Pizza Near Me - Yorkville, Illinois

The bartenders are the best with their service and witty sense of humor. The wings also are delicious!

This is the absolute best Rosati's around! I promise. The done experience is a good one but the pizza just hit different compared to the other Rosati's in the area. read more

Little disappointed in the service. Once I was sat at a table. After 10 minutes a server came over my order was simple side salad and the 3 cheese baked penne and a unsweetened tea. Took a while to get the drink. The. After 10 minutes or so I get my salad then the pasta came. Never seen my server again until he brought the bill. No refill on the drink. The place was slow only maybe 3-4 tables in the whole place. Now the food. The pasta was really good and the sauce was nice. The cheese was good I. The beginning but if you don't eat fast it becomes hard once it cooled down. Didn't like that. I'm a fast eater so it wasn't sitting to long. Would of have a better score if it wasn't for the service. read more

Definitely would be eating here again plus the customer service was excellent n very nice to me not to mention the lady at the register was very polite read more

First off I had to wait on extra 15 minutes for my order. It was a pick up order. I've eaten a lot of Rosati's pizza before at various locations. This location was absolutely the worst! Usually the pizza is Loaded with cheese. These pizza's had absolutely none whatsoever. The wings were also a joke. I ordered a pound but I wanted them half & half. They said no problem. We just put the sauce on the side. They forgot to inform me "the sauce on the side " would be an extra $2. For a total of almost $77 for 2 pizzas & an order of wings I would say I was actually ripped off! Save yourself about $57 & go to Little Caesars for better food. read more

Rosati's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Yorkville, Illinois

Yorkville location. Been going for years, but no longer. Staff at take out window were rude, belligerent and openly hostile and condescending to the customers waiting. Telling people 30 min, then waiting there another 45 after the first 30. Yelling comments to each other about the customers, no food coming out. Not a good environment. read more

4 weeks ago I sent this letter to Rosatis corporate. I was told it would be sent to Yorkville Rosati's. I have not heard anything. Have not ordered since! We order pizza almost every Friday night from the Yorkville location and my husband always picks it up on his way home from work. This past week was terrible. Dough Nuggets were not the usual 1 or 2". They were 4 or 5" and very greasy. Grease covered the container, the bag and the pizza box! They were terrible. I threw them out. The usual 1/2 sausage pizza had 9 small pcs of sausage on it. This is not the usual quality we receive. I guess you guys must have a new cook and no supervision. read more

Ordered slice of sausage, slice of cheese pizza -- both of which were just ok. Pretty basic, run of the mill in taste category. The fried pickles are heavily covered in the fried crust-- way to much to enjoy the appetizer. The fried pickle appetizer initially looks like fried mozzarella balls. I half expected to open it up to gooey melted cheese. Instead it was a game of "find the pickle" which I didn't enjoy. They do give a decent serving of 13-15 of these heavily breaded fried pickle appetizers. I had a serving of crinkle fries, they were good. Carry out service was pleasant, quick & friendly. I wouldn't recommend the food as anything delicious but if you're hungry, and it's late, it'll do. read more

We live close to this Rosati's, so we order from here fairly often, and I haven't been very impressed by the food, service, or cost of most of the things they have on the menu. We generally order mozzarella sticks which are 6 in an order. They're better than buying frozen in store, but they aren't the best I've ever had, not even close. For 6 mozzarella sticks, it's $10. Not worth it. I made them from scratch the other day just to see how hard it would be. The ingredients didn't even total $10, I was able to make and freeze about 24 cheese sticks, and deep fried a few just to see if they would measure up to the $10 Rosati's ones. They were on par and wayyy cheaper. Can't recommend that. Then their pizza is also not the best I've had. They use too much thick corn meal on the bottom making it messy in more ways that one when trying to eat it. The cheese and most ingredients used are usually tasty and seem fresh. People working at the pick-up counter never seem that happy to be there and don't seem to understand how to greet people or acknowledge that they're there and waiting to be helped. I'd stop ordering from there if they weren't the best option within 10 miles of our house. But they're alright if you have $50 to blow on a large pizza and mediocre cheese sticks. read more

This rosati is horrible, they messed up my order,it was a delivery order. Management did not care. I was sent the wrong order he did not care to make it right. The pizza was running off the crust. Never will I order from them again. The person that took the order never repeated the order back to double check. The so called manager said he would have to listen to the recording. He made me feel like a liar , please do not waste your money here. He is a joke and very bad customer service. read more

The last few times I've tried to order out pizza here I have had to wait about 30 minutes longer than expected. There are about 7 high school age kids "working" and no one seems to know what they are doing. No manager in sight and a lot of dumb kids running around. Good pizza but no oversight. read more

Great service, staff knew the answer to the rewards question. We asked for extra sauce and well done pizza and it was perfect! Thank you!

We come here often, but tonight was awful. Our order was taken very quickly, but then we were forgotten about. We got someone's attention and they tracked down our server who then went and got our food from the kitchen that had been sitting for who knows how long. Like warm food is not what we are used to. I guess if you come on a special day they can't keep up. read more

No complaints. Have orders pizzas a several times over the summer now and everything has been spot on. Can typically find coupons out there to save a few bucks. They hand write a message inside box top which is neat. Enjoy, thanks, etc. read more

Always great pizza of course, but wanted to mention the exceptional service we received last night. Service is atrocious and the pizza is mediocre at best. Picking up food is a nightmare, had a less than pleasant interaction with the manager Brea after reluctantly giving me a refund for a order they screwed up. Oh and don't ever order delivery it never shows up in the time window and is usually a mess. So many better choices in Yorkville now. They also now have a 3.9 PERCENT SERVICE CHARGE for credit or debit, never ever again we're done. read more

Fantastic hot delivery tonight. The delivery guy was. Courteous and not sloppy looking. Our order was correct, the person taking the order over the phone was knowledgeable and pleasant. (Can't always say that about some establishments these days - sadly) We enjoyed our Sausage pizza (thin crust) and the other pizza -Sausage and Mushroom. We always order - well done - pie cut !!!! These guys got it right again! Thanks Rosati's! read more

Overall; an average, but, overpriced experience. We got the BBQ wings, the Cheef sandwich, pasta and a salad. The only things that stood out were the canollis. And it still came to over $20 / person. The waitress made a mistake and brought extra canollis to the table when she had to bring an extra to go box. We didn't complain / go through the hassle of explaining this and stomached the extra $5. read more

Rosati's is one of those places that you know you can rely on. I grew up eating their delicious pizza from the Aurora location, and Yorkville definitely doesn't disappoint either. The service is pretty friendly and fast. The food is, well, amazing. Rosati's makes Pizza Hut look like the Taco Bell of pizza chains (no hate for either! just not authentic). Don't think pizza is their only strength, though. They offer up quite a few tasty pasta dinners, generously portioned and moderately priced. They also have a good selection of sandwiches, other entrees, and sides. They don't skimp on toppings, and promise me when I say you're likely to fall in love at first bite. Their beef is really good. They have the Cheef too for all the cheese lovers. Their thin crust pizza is great, and I'm not usually a fan. If you're looking for a hearty pizza that will leave you feeling like you can't eat another bite -- when there's still so much left! -- try the stuffed pizza (with pepperoni, mmmm..). It's absolutely the most amazing thing I've ever had in my mouth. Grab a fork if you're a pizza pansy. You can pretty much customize your pizza however you want. Want barbecue sauce instead? Just ask. They do a great job at making their customers happy. It's 5 am as I type this, and now I'm absolutely craving Rosati's. Good going, self. Pros: delicious, convenient location, friendly service, fast, delicious, very good variety, did I mention delicious? Cons: pizza prices are a bit higher compared to other places [coughPizzaHutcough], but the superior taste and quality is WELL worth it. My only other issue is that they aren't open at 5 am for sudden cravings like the one I'm having right now. read more

Concur with prior review: The place is definitely clique-ish - and so are the bartenders. We've only eaten at or in the bar area and whenever service is needed, we're almost apologizing for interrupting service workers for help. Haven't tried their pizza, but their other food selections are OK. Our choice only as 'last resort' when in this vicinity. I am changing my star rating and adding this Post Script to my prior review: We have noticed that the size portions of their deluxe sandwiches continue to shrink more and more - noticed in the meatball sandwich and their beef sandwich "Chief" and their french fries orders -- these sandwiches were almost twice the size they are now when they first opened in Yorkville! Like, do they think no one will notice?!? GREED leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We eat elsewhere now. read more

Great upgrade to an old favorite. Expanded bar area and lots of TV's. Service is horribly slow since the expansion. Really good pizza but we went on a Friday when it was real busy and they were quit unorganized. Waited ten minutes then asked if we had a waitress. Finally got one to come to the table. Ordered apps and pizza. Apps took 20 mins to come out. Then of course the pizza was ready at the same time. When you have hungry kids from the water park you order apps so you can get food fast. While there is something odd about Rosati's claiming this year is their "10 year anniversary" in Yorkville, by far, they offer the best pizza in town. I really love the convenience of this Rosatis location in Yorkville, right off the bus my streets of 47 and 34. Makes for an easy dinner plan on your way home from work! The pizza and wings are amazing as like every Rosati's location, but if you're gonna stop for a drink, be sure you have some extra time. The bar gets a little crowded which means you don't get as much customer service action, but when you do get to speak with the bartender it's always a good talk and they treat you very well!
