I had always been curious about checking this place out and I kind of always forget that it's there. On a Sunday afternoon my husband and and I decided to order take out. We ordered wings with the sweet chili sauce and the hot honey garlic sauce. Wings were meaty and yummy. We ordered the Ultimate Nachos and those were sooo good. There was the right amount of each ingredient in the nachos. The chili, cheese, sour cream, salsa... just the perfect amount. The portion was big. We also ordered the Baron sandwich and it was delicious!!! I love grilled chicken sandwiches and this one was loaded with mushrooms, cheese and bacon the chicken was not dry and had really good flavor. The restaurant is nice and big and has a bar area with TVs. The day I went for pick up there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. What a shame. I've been coming here for years and have probably ordered the BBQ boneless wings enough times to qualify for partial ownership. This has always been one of my favorite spots, so when I decided to bring my family out for a meal, I expected the same great experience I've always had. The food itself was exactly what I've come to expect, delicious. The wings were great, the atmosphere was familiar, and for a while everything seemed fine. Our waitress seemed very nervous from the start. I tried not to think much of it. Maybe she was new, maybe she was having an off day. We even asked about the pickle chips and she didn't realize they were on the menu, which made me think she was still learning the ropes. Then things took a strange turn. At one point during our meal, my daughter took a selfie with her brother while our waitress happened to be nearby speaking with us. Later, I noticed employees looking toward our table and talking among themselves, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Near the end of our visit, a manager, who was incredibly kind and professional, came over to explain the situation. Apparently, our waitress believed my daughter had been taking pictures of her. My daughter was immediately upset and apologetic, even though she had done nothing wrong. To clear up any confusion, she showed us her camera roll. Sure enough, the most recent photo was exactly what she said it was: a selfie of her and her brother. What bothered me wasn't the misunderstanding itself. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was learning that employees had been discussing the situation among themselves and speaking about my daughter before anyone bothered to simply ask what was going on. My daughter ended up in tears because she realized the looks and conversations she'd noticed throughout the restaurant were connected to this misunderstanding. No child deserves to feel embarrassed or singled out over something that could have been resolved with a simple conversation. I want to give credit where it's due: the manager handled the situation with kindness and professionalism, and the food remains some of my favorite around. But the way this situation was handled left a sour taste that no amount of great wings could fix. I've always loved coming here, which makes writing this review disappointing. We visited on a Monday and enjoyed the wing special--absolutely incredible! The wings were juicy and packed with flavor from the delicious sauces. The claw machines were a bonus, especially the "play til you win" one, perfect for my 3-year-old and only 50 cents! The staff was friendly and welcoming, though they could have checked on us more frequently as we didn't get refills until we were nearly finished. came on two different days this week, one Monday 03/02 and again on 03/04. on 03/02 we were sitting at the bar and some lady brings a DOG form the kitchen. me and bartender (super nice girl) looked disgusted. The bartender said she was a manager but can't do anything since her higher up is there now allowing it. Okay fine, so we went back on 03/04 and there was a dog at the table! Have ordered from this place a few times hoping for a better experience. Each time, it got worse and worse. Extremely long wait time every single time and the food seems just tossed together without a care. We recently ordered a few meals with fries and were shocked as to the amount of fries that came with the meals. Contacted the location and was told that this is normal, they were told by corporate to include less fries. Said there was nothing they could do and brushed me off the phone. Have received more fries in a happy meal than in all of the meals here combined. Not worth your time. This was the final straw for us. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Pretty nice place to have a little get together or just watch sports with friends. Very clean and there is plenty of parking. Many beer options but they are limited to your standard brands. Service was really good. Very attentive and advised me of the wing special. So I ordered 6 boneless wings with bbq. The bbq sauce was really thick and way too much. Felt like the bottle exploded in the basket. I also got the chicken wrap with honey mustard and side of Mac n cheese. The wrap was cold wish it was grilled. The honey mustard was ok. Typical drink specials revolve around spirits and beer is delivered in pint or schooner sizes. My family's favorite appetizer is the pretzel bites with beer cheese sauce. and the curly fries are solid. Kids meals are barebones and not worth the money. For example, the kids quesadilla delivered barely enough to quell a hungry stomach at a quality far below what a mediocre home cook could make. Traditional wings, what you're really coming for, are crispy and delicious. One of the crafty ways they keep 'em crispy is to pour your sauce choice on top of them (not toss) before they are taken to the table. Don't waste your time. Place is called Wings and they upcharge the cost if you order the "Traditional"( which is actually the wing) vs the Boneless which are not wings. Go figure. My husband and I went to Wings, Etc. for a long awaited and much needed night out for some of our favorite items for dinner and a movie at the nearby theater out on Yorkville. Well, thanks to this particular food outing, our dinners were both ruined. We both ordered the same exact meal, the supposed 10-piece Rib Tips with fries and cole slaw.  Both of our rib tips were almost completely inedible, small, and dried out! We both spoke to the manager whom we'd summonsed to our table by our server. When he came over to speak to use, we both said to him that we'd been there to eat a few times before and always found the Rib Tips to be much bigger, juicy and succulent than they were the night that we were there. He offered us some dollar amount off our check, and we took it. He also offered the explanation that maybe someone has been cutting them in half to stretch the quantity.  We still left the full tip for our server who was extremely nice, friendly and attentive to us al night, it wasn't her fault at all.   If we were to go back, we just most definitely will not order the Rib Tips. Absolutely terrible service. I ordered over the phone and when I got there the order was lost. The server said she would check on it and help us and precedes to disregard as we waited at the bar. This used to be a place I ordered from a lot. But the customer service and lack of communication as I sat there for 20 minutes was absolutely ridiculous. Definitely hate to resort to Yelp but if a server says they'll take care of you and ignores you while they directed you to wait and offers zero updates, that's absolutely unacceptable. Definitely have had way better service before. Expectations weren't too high for high quality service however the experience I had was just lackluster overall. Always one of our favorites. Supported them through the good times and so many times during this very difficult past year with COVID. However, my most recent experience was so bad that they lost this loyal customer. So many things went wrong, but all I wanted was acknowledgement from the manger that they had a bad night and that's it. She couldn't even give me that.
