Just tried this for the first time and it was very good. I tried a panini called the chicken ranchero which was a BLT with chicken and mozzarella on traditional panini bread. The bread was perfectly toasted and grilled chicken had great flavor and the smokiness of the bacon came through as well. Made it a combo for $3 more with perfectly done crinkle cut fries and a medium drink. Clean atmosphere with booths along the outside of the dining area. Drive-thru also looked popular at lunchtime. Waited 30 mins to pick up an order that I was told would be ready in 10 mins. Why would they give me a time frame if they weren't going to begin cooking my food until I arrived? That's just the way they do it I was told. I was forced to pick up my order in the drive thru because they decide to close the dining room early today at 6:45pm on a Saturday night. I was told by a coworker who knew I was on the hunt for decent tacos in the area to check this place out. She recommended the chicken tacos. I was a bit skeptical but I decided to give them a chance. I ordered the taco plate which is three tacos, your choice of steak or chicken, and rice and beans. I ordered the chicken tacos. What an amazing surprise this was. My tacos were so good. Three tacos full of delicious shredded chicken, they do not skimp on the chicken. The rice and beans were ok but the tacos were better than the last place I reviewed that claimed to be authentic. Their gyros are also good. This is my go to place for a quick taco fix. We have gotten take out tacos a few times since discovering the yummy tacos. Haven't been disappointed yet. read more

If you want fast food without the cost-cutting shortcuts, many of these restaurants are making, this is the place to go! I recommend their gyros, pork loin sandwich, patty melt, and burgers. I'm giving only 4 starts because I'm not a fan of their fries, but they make a great Greek salad. Consistently excellent and friendly service too! read more

I usually love their food. Two occasions they have gotten my order wrong. I even ver my order before I drove away. The second time we hen I called to complain they either picked up the phone and just left it there or they would not answer. When fin I got someone to say something they just said they were really busy and put me on hold. After trying over 27 times dialing. The only excuse I got was sorry we've been busy. Don't they care when they have a customer who has already paid. I got a half hearted sorry. I did say I wanted my meal replaced and a free meal at my convenience. They agreed. Located next to the Super Wal-Mart this little neighborhood spot is a winner for fast food. What I like about Tastee Bite is the different variety of meals to choose from such as burgers, gyros, beef and even tacos and burritos. Recently I had their three taco dinner plate as a dine-in order, which was absolutely superb. You can taste the seasoned ground meat. It came with a homemade guacamole and homemade salsa on the side with rice and beans too. I was told they have homemade italian beef and their gyro sauce is also a family recipe. I think I know what I am ordering on my next visit. Oh and I almost forgot they have a nifty little drive-thru incase you didn't want to exit the vehicle :) read more

Called in an order and was told 15-20 mins for pick up. I arrived 20 mins later and the food still was not ready not to mention there was not a mask on any employee in the place, which typically I wouldn't care but it is a food establishment. The lady behind the register was very rude and short when I was paying for our meal. I then waited another 15 mins for my call in order to be finished. The beef was literally not edible, the meat was rubbery and flavorless and the bread clearly stale and they tried to cover it up with dipping it in the juice. The corn dog my daughter got was so hard it was also not edible. Way over priced and always underperforms. We have tried several attempts and this will be our last visit. read more

Ordered a gyro plate and the meat was in tiny chunks, kinda like they scooped up the small shavings from the bottom of the spit and put them in our order. Also the sauce was pretty thin this time. It was ok though. The real problem was the fried zucchini ($5.49) and mushrooms($4.59). The amount of zucchini we got was 6 and the mushrooms were 9. I get that prices have gone up but dang. Basically a dollar for a finger sized piece of fried zucchini. read more

Went back a second time to try something different. Fries are still really good. Hot dog, which was so good last time, was a disappointment. Bun wasn't steamed. No poppy seeds. That's a big deal. Tried their Italian Beef. Not good. Too thick. Wrong flavors in the seasoning. Bread was more of a sub roll than Italian bread that can hold up to the gravy. It was a mushy mess by the time I was halfway through the sandwich. Sweet peppers were so over cooked they were just a green slime on my sandwich. read more

Love this place! I've never had a bad meal here. Steak tacos, hamburgers, hotdogs are all amazing. The Gyro platter can easily feed two with enough extra meat to take home. I highly recommend this place. I'm actually glad I don't live around here anymore otherwise I'd be coming in several times a week. read more

Kind of hard to find a good gyro away from the suburbs, but Tastee Bite is definitely on my list. Food is always hot and fresh. I usually get the gyro, but have had the chicago dogs and the greek salad on occasion. Inside is pretty simple and straight forward. Nothing fancy! Which is how I like my gyro and hot dog joints! Now that I live in coastal Georgia, it's hard to come by a good gyro and good luck finding a Chicago dog! So I definitely stop by Tastee Bite whenever I am back visiting family in Sandwich. read more

This place is so over priced, you are getting Minimum for your money . I ordered a nacho plate at a cost of around $10 it contained mostly chips with a spoon of meat. When I got home and looked at it I was so disappointed. I am also disappointed in how the phone person spoke to me. She let me know that they would not refund my money or make it over. Poor customer service skills . We have choices in where to spend our money do not throw your money away by buying food here there are many options as a customer that dine out often ,we can truly say we will not return to tasty bites.Big ripoff with less of a quality product. read more

Officially the only edible food in Plano. No joke. They are clean and friendly every time that I come here. Granted it's not very often, because I live in the city now. The food here is soooo good. If they get your order right............. I live 15 mins from the Tastee bite. I love the tacos but am allergic to onion so I order them no onion. I ordered some tacos, brought them home, opened the box and there were onions but no cilantro. I drove the 15 mins back to have them remake them. I am allergic to onions so I cant just pick them off. THey remade them with no onions and no cilantro. I like cilantro....So I had to ask them to fix them again. After an hour of driving back and forth I got the right tacos. It would not have bothered me so much if they had given me a coupon for my next visit or seemed more apologetic about the fact that they have wasted so much of my time an gas in my car but they did not care. If you are taking your food to go check the bag and your food first before driving away. They will not care if they waste your time to get the order corrected. read more

Usually everything I get here is good. But this past weekend went through drive through. After getting home took everything out of the paper bag. The 2 salads were on the bottom next to our fries. Fries were wet from the water. Daughters hot dog had a piece of hair in it. And there was enough water in the bottom of the bag to hold a fish. Called and she said I can credit you for the fries. We haven't found one in Yorkville yet, so we drive out to Tastee Bite when we want some dogs, gyros and beefs. If you are looking for this type of food, its the best in the area. This place has been on a steady decline in quality . Used to be pretty good , but tonight will mark my last time eating from this place . Out order included a steak philly meal for my wife , I got the two chicago style hotdog meal for myself . First our sodas were completely flat, my wife was less than impressed with her meal , which she gas had in the past with no complaints The bread on her sandwich was stale . My meal was disgusting. The fries not horrible , but the hotdogs were cold , and kinda hard , like they were old . The buns were rock hard as well . Food is generally fine not wonderful but fine. Service is slow but it's a busy place. Today we drove out of our way to eat there. Ordered hamburger, fries, and Italian sausage with cheese and red sauce. Got the hamburger and fries my daughter says they were both good. I got an Italian beef with red sauce so I called to let them know and was told that it was ok if I wanted to come back and exchange the sandwich. No apology. So I drove back through town and the girl got my sandwich, "Here you go" is what I got. Still no apology. When I pointed out the fact that it was their mistake and I was the one who had been inconvenienced and didn't even receive an apology she flipped off an "I'm sorry, but..."
