Fourteen of us from the Evanston Bike Club dropped in on Wed April 22. Of course we were hungry, and we were greeted graciously by the hostess/ owner. We were promptly seated , perused an excellent food menu, served efficiently and had a great overall experience!! The ambiance is lovely and demonstrates outstanding adaptive reuse of buildings. A month earlier another member of the club and I stopped in for lunch while doing a reconnaissance ride - also outstanding service. The server was so well organised on both visits. Beautiful place. Could host a large party easily. Food a salty, but yummy. Staff was super nice and attentive. Service was fast. They forgot my extra Jalapeños but thats not that end of the world. Good old fashioned. read more

We had a family gathering of 22 people which went very well. Wait staff was prompt, orders were taken for drinks, appetizers and meals without confusion. Wait staff was attentive to refills, and rapidly attended to. The manager Alex was a pleasure to work with. Waitress was enjoyable she even helped my grandkids with a little Spanish lesson. The older gentleman who was our busboy was very efficient. The food was hot temperature wise and folks whom do not like spice were accommodated. Drinks are deliciously strong, food is mind-blowing to the point where I eat way more than I know I can, the staff is delightful and genuine, the bar is gorgeous, the floor plan is spacious and perfect for a claustrophobic like me, and I can confidently say this place single handedly saved me from my mental breakdown. If I had all the money in the world I'd be here for every single meal. But for now I'll settle for a few times a week. Flawless first impressions. read more

Ordered and I gotta say this is memorable. To start no salsa with the delivery for tacos... that's a first in any restaurant that I've gone too. Maybe the saddest taco I have ever seen came with my order, in fairness the other ones were not terrible, but seriously how you going to let this leave your restaurant and be happy with it Lastly it's took over an hour for them to get it here, 15 minutes over the late delivery. I've been to this restaurant a couple of times since they opened. I REALLY hope that they do well and stay in business. First of all the restaurant is huge. It has nice bar area and they also have a party/banquet room. The staff is very nice and attentive. I've had their tacos Al pastor and they were very good. I've also had their shrimp tostada and that is fantastic!!! I actually order that every time I go. Now for my favorite part.... Their cocktails. Their margaritas and micheladas are amazing and strong. I've had the mango, pineapple, bubble gum and the strawberry margaritas. All YUM!!! Their drinks are not weak and I love that they have a new drink featured every week. Shout out to the manager who is friendly and is quick to see if you need anything. Came here on a whim this afternoon. I keep passing it and wanting to go. It was my husband, myself, our two year old, and our 3 month old. (Thus the blur in some photos as the two year old can Not stop moving). I was impressed by the atmosphere inside. It was fun! Colorful, CLEAN, and when we went (11am probably just opened) it was Empty haha. Some folks may see empty and say oh boy why arent there any people there. One - it just opened and I think we were the first ones there. Two- I loved this because it felt like a private event for just us. Quiet and my kiddo could dance and sing and giggle and we didnt have to feel awkward about her being her tornado self. Ok the food. There are great specials! That alone makes me want to go back! Im still pumping so we didnt get alcohol but I saw another group who came in and the margaritas are Massive. All the drinks are. They dont mess around here. My daughter's apple juice alone was huge let alone the horchata my husband got (also tasty according to him)! We both got taco dinners. His was American style, chicken, on flour. Mine was steak, corn tortillas, and Mexicano style. Good and good. Daughter got the nuggets (fyi kids free on Thursdays!). She approved (). Chip and salsa were on point. Not my favorite chips ever but they were still good. Used the bathrooms -heads up- hand dryers here if you have family who have a sensitivity to sounds. But clean a d the stalls are nice and roomy. No squeezing yourself in there! The waitress was Super friendly and we had excellent service. She even made sure we had to go cups for All our drinks. A+ All in all Im excited to come here again. Food is really good. Actually like the food more than another Mexican restaurant nearby. Wait staff is nice. My only take away is that if you're on 34 and you're not paying attention you will miss it. Extremely surprised it was so empty since the food is really good. If you live in Plano make sure to stop by. More than enough tables and the food will not disappoint. Taste and serving size. read more

Our visit was disappointing. I ordered mixed fajitas, wife got beef fajitas and daughter got enchiladas. The beef was very tender but had little to no flavor. The chicken seemed a little better but not much. The shrimp however was excellent. The rice was terrible, it had vegetables in it but again lacked flavor. The refried beans were middle of the road, again not alot of flavor. The enchiladas were very good. The tortillas were fresh and that was nice, the salsa was very fresh and nice. The guacamole was not great, it tasted very strongly of lime juice, who uses lime juice in guacamole, it usually has lemon juice. The restaurant is beautiful as a whole, kind of wierd they leave the doors open to the restroom but they were nice. Service was good overall. Overall the taste of the food was not very good compared to the other mexican restaurants in the area. 10 out of 10 for the look 3 out of 10 for the food. read more

My wife ordered chicken breasts. One of them was so tough she literally could not cut it. Two stars because my chicken fajitas were flavorful. But not much chicken (lots of vegetables though). Incredibly loud music that made conversation difficult. It's more like a sports bar than a restaurant. Bye bye Cielito. read more

The atmosphere is very cool. The bar is the same as it has been but very nice! We had enchiladas red...... with chicken. They were good served with rice and beans. Tacos were good and carne asada was a large portion. Service very good and responsive. Will definitely try again. read more

Unfortunately my favorite local Mexican restaurant was to busy so we decided to try this place out. The drinks were pretty good, we got a few pina coladas but there were still large chunks of ice in them. The chips and salsa were probably the best part of the meal. My friend got 3 tacos - steak, pastor, and barbacoa all of them were cold, flavorless, and not how she requested them. I ordered a dish that was supposed to have skirt steak, chicken, and a few other things. They brought me chicken fajitas instead that were inedible. They offered to bring free guac which never came which is ok because the little bit I had with my meal was also terrible. Won't be back. read more
