Best pizza we've had. Only complaint was that we didn't order a bigger one. All the adults in the house raved about the flavor and the two little ones were impressed too. Nice thin crispy crust (the picky preschooler at the entire slice), REAL and large pieces of sausage, delicious sauce, and lotsa cheese. I've heard good things about this place and home all alone so I thought I would get something to eat from him. I went there and it smelt wonderful and I got a meatball sandwich and Italian beef. They have a real good Italian beef and a really good meatball sandwich. I have any other pizza yet, but I look forward to having it. They're olive oil pasta was delicious and I believe it also had some kind of garlic sauce on it as well which I found so delightful

This place is awesome. Delicious thin crust, which I'm not normally a fan of. Tonight my wife ordered online and accidentally said half pepperoni and pineapple on the whole thing. I called, they said they would get it fixed. I guess he didn't get to them before it made it to the oven, so rather than just sending it incorrect, they gave us that pizza, and an additional pizza with only pepperoni, which made my night! read more

We have been getting pizza here for a few years now. Great pies. Word to the wise.....do not order there BBQ junk from whatever "Salt Creek BBQ" is. It is an embarassment to any type or claim of BBQ. Chicken skin is rubber. Breast is drier than the Sahara. Ribs are only marginally better. If you have EVER been in the south, you won't want to eat this. It really is that bad! My first time there. It beats the farmer pizza out by me where they just spread tomato sauce on the pizza with no parmesan or oregano. I'm gonna try them again soon to see if they are consistent in their flavor and ingredients. read more

WOW... fantastic AUTHENTIC REAL Chicago style pizza. In case you don't know Chicago Pizza crust is THIN. You may like pan or thick crust pizza, & that's your choice, but please do not call it Chicago pizza. Mario's, I believe serves all types of crust so don't let that stop. In the end, the ingredients are the key & Marios is incredible. Fast delivery & very friendly. One more thing, the cheesy beef are authentic and fantastic too...you really can only get the real thing at a pizza joint cuz the pizza oven to finish it is key. One word, "Amazing"! Checked Yelp for a pizza place near home. We were sick of the usual places and thought we'd give it a try. We ordered the 20" (insert shame here) He asked if I was a new customer. I told him I was. I told pizza guy I had a coupon for $2. He told me to forget that coupon he had one for $5. Well played played pizza guy, well played... My husband came home with not one but two 20" pizzas. (Double shame) He said pizza guy told him he didn't like how the first one came out so he was welcome to it free of charge. Now, I ask you who has two thumbs and is coming back to Mario's? Best pizza you can get in the North Aurora area. My go to is the Western (Bbq sauce, sausage, onion, bacon).

We recently moved to the area in December and leaving Chicago and all of our go-to spots was a bit unnerving. Not knowing who our new go-to's would be. We were sure no one would stack up to what we were accustomed to, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the food. It is fantastic and the service we get from Mario's is phenomenal all the way down the line from whomever answers phones to take orders to the delivery people. On one occasion a gentleman even walked around the counter to help me with a pretty big order to my car with no jacket on in the freezing cold even after I insisted that I would be able to manage. He didn't take no for an answer and couldn't have been nicer. We've had nothing but great experiences. Highly recommend! read more

Mario's is by far the best pizza joint in the western suburbs, we moved out of Chicago last March & were highly disappointed with the first few pizza places we tried. However, Mario's is exactly what all true thin crust Chicago-pizza lovers crave. This is our favorite frequented pizza spot and will continue to be so. We use to order from Mario's every Friday. We ordered a pizza, mozzarella sticks and fries tonight. I was very disappointed it seemed like they changed the pizza sauce, mozzarella sticks were warm (kind of mushy....i like my mozzarella sticks to have a crispy breading). Delivery they said within 45 minutes it was over an hour. They forgot the 2L of soda so the delivery guy said he would be right back with it. I use to order from this place all the time when it was Jakes. Then I moved away from Illinois for 13 years, and just moved back to the area recently, only to find out jakes was no more! Now it's Mario's... I decided to give Mario's a try tonight, and while looking at the web site I found out Mario bought, owned and operated jakes, and just changed the name! We ordered BBQ chicken pizza & good ol' sausage & mushroom. We had a group of family & friends together. The consensus was pretty much unanimous...meh. Specifically, no one loved the BBQ sauce used on the BBQ chicken pizza. And we all felt the pizza sauce on the sausage and mushroom was bland, lacking Italian spices that provide such flavor. I also noticed the cheese on cold leftovers got that funky, sort of plastic-y look of low quality cheese. Thin pizza is good. Appetizers and sandwiches are gross. Also they have great coupons. Like b1g1 pizza. They are quick and nice. I would of given five stars but we had a bad experience. Maybe it was a bad night for them, I ordered a large sausage pizza and it was ready for pickup fast. The pizza didn't have much flavor and it seems a little undercooked. I was hunting for a really good thin crust pizza since I have been out here. I finally found it - Mario's. Has a great sauce and the perfect amount of cheese. Ventured with the meatball sandwich...pretty darn good as well. They are always really cool and friendly when I pick up as well. I'm a picky pizza person and got a groupon for Mario's earlier this year. And, I now pay full price because I've max'd out on the groupons. Their pizza is great! The crust is more made from scratch and is a medium crust to hold on to all of the toppings of the monster pizza that I love so much!! They don't skimp on the ingredients and everything is in a good proportion - sauce, cheese, etc. yummy cheese- so melty good! The service is great, they have brought the pizza to my car and even moved my shoes off of the front seat for me lol Sometimes it's a longer wait than they say. But it's worth it! I live in Lisle and my bf lives in West Aurora and so this is sort of out of my way- but again- worth it! I've been a fan of ROSATIS pizza but given the choice, most likely i would choose Mario's!!
