I go there when I'm in the mood for a gyro. I'm never disappointed. It's always good with generous amounts of meat, and the fries are really good too. The cashier is always upbeat and friendly. Great food at a fair price. Give 'em a try. read more

Gyros & more - Gyro, No Tomatoes - Fast Food Near Me - West Chicago, Illinois

Picked up a traditional gyros sandwich and a chicken gyros plate. Service was polite and efficient. Space reminds me of the causal low frills spots in the city but that have great food. Food was excellent. Fries were nice and crispy and fresh. Regular gyros was super juicy with good flavor. Chicken gyros was off the spit as well, which not everyone does, and was plenty moist and tasted great. Chicken gyros normally comes with honey mustard. I subbed tzatziki but still got honey mustard on the side and it was great to dip the fries in. Nice to know there's a solid spot nearby when the craving hits. read more

Quick and easy food pick up. They make per order. The woman taking orders was so friendly. I ordered a fish sandwich for me, 2 gyros for my boys and a Philly sandwich for my husband. Everyone loved what they got. The fries were perfectly salted and went down nice and easy on the drive home. Tiny bummed about fish sandwich scone it was super thin and could have been fried a little longer. I'd pass next time. Smells like the laundromat next door which I loved when you walk in. Overall a nice place to grab and go. They make it quickly so it's not ready unless you get the gyros. read more

My first time here and I'm impressed. Sure it's just a fast food gyro place but here's where they shine. I walked in and was greeted by a super friendly lady who happily took my order. I had to wait a bit and noticed the place was very clean. I ordered a gyro plate and a Greek salad. Besides being delicious they packaged the food wonderfully. The meat was separated from the tomatoes and onion. The tzatziki was in two little tubs. The fries were in a separate bag with plenty of napkins and 2 plastic forks. The salad was huge and delicious. (Sorry no pic. I was hungry.) They could've just mixed the stuff up together but they took the extra steps. Well done. I'll be back. read more

I've eaten there maybe 10 times and will continue to eat there however, it's gone downhill a bit. Pros + good gyros + not terrible prices + decent fries Cons: - service is slow, expect 7-10 mins after ordering to get food - gyro plate has maybe 1 person's worth of fries now, used to be 2 (shrinkflation) - bread was stale for both the gyro and the hot dog - hot dog I ordered was $4 and bad. Maybe it's beef maybe it wasn't but it tasted like a microwave Oscar Mayer Weiner and my daughter didn't want to even finish hers. read more

Small place. Gyros fresh off the spit. Just like I wanted. Huge portions, fair prices. Outdoor picnic tables.

Everything I've eaten here has tasted great. You may have to wait because it is made to order, but is so worth it. The place is clean & the service is wonderful. The woman that runs it is the sweetest. read more

Went thru the drive thru and waited a long time, unsure why ! 2 gyros , tasted ok. Seemed like yesterdays cuts, I'll try elsewhere for a gyro read more

Looking for some lunch ideas I stumbled upon "Gyros & More". What a happy discovery as I think these are the BEST gyros I have ever had in my entire life! The gyros were just right and so tasty. I ordered the gyro plate that I think can easily feed 2 to 3 people. The fries that come with are crispy and golden to perfection. Back to the gyros. I didn't realize how dry my other gyro experiences were after I had the gyros here. Love that this is also a small business! Will be back again! read more

I've been here a couple times when I was craving some gyro. Big portions at affordable prices, always comes out hot. Service is friendly and pretty quick. Ordering ahead is definitely recommended since most people order take out from here. Gyro plate is the way to go big enough for two people to split easily. read more

I am very picky when it comes to buying food from fast food places. You never know if the food is going to be freshly made, warm from sitting in the warmer or cold from just being old. I highly recommend Gyros and more! I have been back 3 times for their fiesta Gyro and it has not disappointed! Freshly made every time! read more

Great little restaurant with food made fresh to order. The gyro sandwich is great, and today, choose onion rings, which were fresh HOT and crispy. Prices are no more than you would expect to pay at a fast food chain. If they only had coke products it would be perfect. read more

Everytime I eat here it is always good! The food is always fresh. The owner is the nicest person!!

Date: 10-February-2020 Time: Late Lunch Total (before tip): $11.33 Server: Take Out Grade: B+ I have been to that spot before and enjoyed it. Today I was short on time and wanted to grab something quickly, so this was the place. I came up to the counter and ordered Gyro Dinner Plate with an additional BBQ Sauce for my fries. I did not realize the sauce was 50 cents, which is not a big deal and I am sure it's on a menu somewhere, I just would like to be told about it at a time of the order. It did not take long for my food to come and I was on my merry way. When I got back into my office, I started on the fires and they were okay, average, about what I would expect it to be for your average fries. Gyro meat was next and it was exceptionally delicious! The meat was juicy, well marinated and supremely well cooked. Delicious! Pitas were pretty good too! Overall a solid B+ experience! read more

Friendliest service ever and so clean. The employees take pride in their restaurant and it shows. I've eaten here several times, but I keep ordering the gyro plater. It comes with extra bread and enough meat for 3 meals, plus tomato slices and raw onion. Also, the steak fries are to die for. They are so yummy that I eat them plain. There's another gyro/hotdog stand across the street and they were more expensive and even rude to me! Skip the shiny and go for CLEAN AND FRIENDLY. read more

Disappointed with this years order. The pitas arrived very cool and tough, like they had been microwaved instead of warmed in the oven. Microwaving makes the gluten stiff or tough. Rest of the order was okay. read more

Very nice service. Decent prices these days. Drive through is a big plus; not common for smaller places, so that's cool.

Gyros & More is a solid little "Chicago food" spot - hot dogs, burgers, gyros - run by nice people with food that is moderately priced. If you're looking for a good bite to eat, check it out. I stopped in for a quick lunch and, given the name, went with a gyro meal (fries and a drink). The cashier was super nice but, despite there not being a ton of people, the food prep was just a bit slow. It seemed as if I sat and sat and sat until my food finally arrived (brought to my table via the cashier's memory only, which is always neat). The gyro itself was ample and had all the fixings. It came out hot and was tasty. However, and this is personal preference, I'd like the gyro meat to be a bit crispier (again, I should have asked for it this way so no knock against them). Accompanying the gyro were some of the best fries I've ever had in my life. They were right out of the fryer and were HOT and meaty. Delicious! As I said, the staff is nice and friendly. Their prices are exactly what you'd expect as well. The dining area is nicely decorated, kept neat/clean, and the bathroom is well looked after. Inside there are plenty of different-sized tables and they even have outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Stop in, grab some lunch, and enjoy yourself. You won't have the most amazing meal of your life but you will leave full in the stomach and the wallet. read more

Food was awesome and the service was great. Very friendly. If I am in the area again it's a nice place for a good and quick bite to eat.

love this place, it's just as good as Portillos and a lot closer and costs less! The owner is also the cashier, and she's as nice as she can be. Orders can take a little longer than your usual fast food place, because they cook it when you order it, so it's always fresh. Highly recommend! ***** read more

Yum yum yum!!! This was our first trip to Gyros & More and we LOVED It! I follow a keto lifestyle, so eating out has its challenges. I ordered the gyros platter, and subbed in a Greek salad. It was delicious and huge- definitely enough for 3 meals. The fam ordered a cheeseburger, hot dog, chicken tenders and cheese fries. Everyone was very happy and satisfied! Please try this place, local friends. You won't be disappointed! The woman at the drive-thru was very sweet and helpful as well. Thank you for the great food and service! read more

I love this place! Great food. Great staff. Occasionally a short wait is expected. But with food this good, it is well worth it.

Beware of the chicken gyro... Fries were good but I wouldn't be surprised if the chicken gyro meat was microwaved. It was served warm like it never touched the fryer I swear it has to be pre packaged frozen. I've got the bubble guts just 30min after I left there. My first time there so there would not be a second . Lady was super nice tho. Forgot my cheese but super nice. read more

Ok so there are a few places in the fox valley area with decent gyros, this might just be the best of them all. The sandwich was hot, flavorful and plentiful and not at all greasy which most others are. Have had their gyros three times now and each as good as the last. read more

Great food & wonderful cashier. She was so nice & helpful!!! I had the mega burger & cheese fries. My boyfriend had the gyro platter. The fries where delicious & crispy. The burger was amazing! Very tasty & freshly made. My boyfriend has been here before & really likes their gyros. Only negative is they don't have unsweetened ice & lemonade for an Arnold Palmer, but that's just my preference. Five stars overall for their food! read more
