The gyro was good and the chicken gyro had a slight char flavor I really liked. The pita and the meat portion were of good size but the tomato and onion were light. The problem was that a 3% charge was added due to using a credit card. I don't remember seeing a sign that they do that, but it might have been there. I've stated my objections to this policy in several of my other reviews. It's to the point that, if I see this policy when I go into a business, either I leave or, if I really want to try the product, I pay with cash; in the latter case, it's interesting to note the change in your experience due to knowing up front that this will be your last time with that product. In either case, I don't return because I strongly disagree with the policy - these businesses want the extra business that credit cards enable but they don't want to pay anything for that and they cost you your credit card's cash back on the purchase amount. If this doesn't bother you, then definitely try this place. read more

Food here is delicious and staff is very nice. Not sure why the owner added a dollar to my total though when he checked me out one night and never said a word about adding it. My receipt didn't match and I made sure to ask for one. That seems a little shady to me, so just watch your receipts when you go there. I'm going to assume he added a tip for the staff. read more

Made a quick stop here because I was close and I am so glad that I did. I had no idea what to get since Gyro is not my typical go-to. The cashier recommended the cheesy beef on garlic so I got that. It is the most flavorful Italian beef I have ever had. The meat was so flavorful. My husband got a pizza puff to play it safe since we have never been there. He loved the pizza puff and it was cooked to perfection. It comes with a side of marinara and the Marina is really good. It's a cute spot with a few seats inside and some outside seats on the patio. We ordered catering from Gyro Pit over the weekend and it was a huge hit. Everyone especially loved the Italian Beef and the Greek potatoes. The fried chicken was perfectly done and did *not* suffer the fate of being super dry and overcooked like a lot of other places I've had. We will definitely use them again for our next party. This place is located next to the DMV so there is plenty of parking. It's very clean and has outside seating. Only one small table for two inside. They have a pretty big menu. We had the Gyros platter and a Monster Gyros Burger. Both came with fries. The food took a-little while to get but was super hot and fresh. Well worth the wait. The portions are very big. Fries crispy and Gyros made to perfection. Not bad for $24.00 dollars. I notice they have Rib Tips on the menu. I'll definitely be back to try those. There staff is very friendly. Great gyro using Kronos meat, better than most, but it's all in the details. Their fries are whack and they don't have fountain soda so there is no whole package, just slightly better than average gyro and nothing more. Personally, I like variety and a whole great meal. read more

Good food. They are a busy place with a small kitchen so be prepared to wait a bit if you don't order ahead of time. I love their fries and everything else we've ordered has been good. Really clean, which is a big bonus for me. Workers are nice. Owner or manager has always been there when I go doing whatever needs to be done and i appreciate that. Their seating situation (none inside (okay well one, but I see it as the place to let older people wait for their food) and the picnic tables are exposed to traffic) and a lack of a bathroom are really the only negatives. Tasteless Greek chicken, high prices, they don't give you a receipt describing in detail how much you pay for each dish. If you order a small size, the cashier automatically charges you the large size without warning you, that's the reason why when you ask for a receipt it gives you the credit card receipt and not the register where it should detail each thing you order. The gyros was good, so were the fries, but I personally thought they were overpriced; especially considering the fact that they recently opened, their location and amount of food you receive.
