They posted an ad on Kijiji for a "NEW" PlayStation DualShock 4 controller for $39.99 plus taxes. I…read moredrove all the way from Toronto to Markham to purchase it. They kept the controllers behind a glass case. They had about 7 controllers and to my surprise, the controllers were kept in clear plastic bags! No original Sony packaging! I asked "I thought these were brand new?" The guy there says "these are what we call open-box items. The controllers were just removed from the PS4 system. But they have never been used." That was a total lie because I inspected all the controllers (2 silver, 1 blue, 4 black) and they all had scratches on them. Several of them even had the serial number sticker on the back removed or scratched off. I questioned him about that, and he said "well we've sold many of these and never had a problem". There was a second hand store across from them that I went to and they advised me that this Canadian Outlet Store was notorious for selling refurbished items. Don't trust this place! See my photos of their listing.

Saw big screen tvs, mini refrigerators, kitchenware and appliances, furniture and clothing. Many things don't have a price tag, so inconvenient and annoying. Their sales people have to call the manager for a price check: waited a long time and finally left because it took way too long for him to respond.

When you come in, it does give a slight attic smell, which I don't mind. They told me they usually restock on Thursdays and the other location by Sterling Road usually carries even more inventory. I purchased a shiatsu massager and back up Aukey earphones that were new in package from the Ex. However, the earphones didn't work. The great thing is they are one of the few or probably only liquidators that I know that allows for a 7 day return if there's an issue. Normally most discount liquidators I've been to, it's pretty much the final sale. I wasn't able to visit within 7 days, but did send them an email with the issue with the earphones so they extended the warranty for me to come in within the end of the month to get store credit or exchange, which I'm so grateful for. Apparently they sold hundreds of those earphones and only a few came back with issues. I was able to drop by yesterday after work and decided to exchange for another shiatsu massager for my in-laws. What I appreciate about this spot is that it's relatively organized in shelves with multiple copies of an item. There are bargain bins too for $5 if you really want to search for any deals and treasures. I much prefer than other liquidators where usually things are thrown in bins and you don't know exactly what it is until you open it. The staff there was also super patient and friendly. Definitely if you're in the area peek in and see if you score any deals. They will be moving back inventory from the Ex today and the pricing seems to be the same. Though they might offer tax off discounts with cash at the Ex but not at the store.

On Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, from 9:45PM to 10:45PM…read more Firstly, I was shopping at the store and got pretty much all my items, except for one, which was the (Purina ONE True Instinct Grain Free Chicken, Dry Cat Food, 1.45-6.53 kg*). I asked the Beauty Associate if they had it in stock. She didn't know, since she works in the Beauty department. I understand; she told me to go to customer service to ask, and they would check if they had it in stock. I went to Customer Service and asked the lady if they had the item I mentioned (*) in stock. She told me they didn't have it in stock and it showed (Free Pickup over $35). I mentioned that it said they had the item available at the store, so why would I pay $35 to pick up my items when I could come to the store myself and pick them up for less? Also, your store slogan is "Save Money, Live Better". I ended up buying my cat a different dry food that she loves and can't stop eating, which makes me happy. The dry food I originally wanted cost more, so I saved money, and it was a win-win situation. Secondly, I was interested in purchasing Apple Earphones (wired version) and asked the lady who looked like she was working in the electronics department if she could check. She told me they didn't have any. I completely understand, since it isn't something everyone would buy. I have the Apple AirPods that died on me and need to replace them, so I decided to go old school and purchase the wired earphones (lightning connector) version to connect with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I got the impression that she was too busy to help me out, so I didn't bother to ask her about anything else, since she looked kind of miserable, which didn't leave a good impression on me, so I left and checked out what I thought were vinyls, but it was the 2026 Calendars, which I wasn't planning to buy, but I decided to come back next time to buy it. I later purchased something in the beauty department and rated her customer service skills 5 stars. The only problem I have is that if she is pricing, it should be aligned with the product on the shelves. I took pictures to show my mom, and my mom noticed a price discrepancy. So instead of piecing your area, you should double-check your pricing, since the Scanning Code of Practice would have been something I would have brought up with her and her manager, but I ignored it, since I wanted to get out of the store quickly. Lastly, I was browsing around the dairy aisles and overheard the associates, maybe it was a lead with a pump truck, talking on the phone, which I thought was unprofessional, since I didn't know if you allow that on the sales floor. What made me feel bothered by the whole situation is that he didn't look like he was talking to someone from home, but it sounded like he was talking to a manager, because he mentioned that he had so much work to do and was complaining about it. I was saying to myself, why didn't you have the support? It sounds like he wanted to work, but not work so much, "Welcome to Retail"! Conclusion: I got what I needed, but I didn't get what I wanted. I found a substitute, and everything worked out in the end. My experience at the store was okay. The beauty associate was nice. She was the only one I would give a good rating. The rest of the associates (customer service, electronics, sales floor, merchandisers, etc.) I would give a bad rating based on the lack of customer service and organization. The layout of the store was okay, but the products were not presentable. I also found out that an associate is not grateful for the job he has, which was disheartening, since others would kill to work at Walmart, but the managers decided to hire the weak and lazy. Update: On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 11:30AM to 12:10PM. They had the specific item I was looking for on the shelf, but I was only browsing for something else. They didn't have the sought-after 2026 calendar, and the associate appeared too lazy to assist me in locating it. I also observed the same associate negligently ignoring another customer's request for help.

I was able to talk to a live person ONLY AFTER MUCH HASSLES & DIFFUCULTIES with their autobot phone system. It took a lengthy period of time before the Walmart emplyee could understand such simple & straight-forward issue as acoount log in issues & that I am not a high tech person & very much incapable/uncomfortable in terms of scanning whatever, what have you screen shot AND IT IS ONLY A SIMPLE ISSUE AS I WAS DESCRIBING TO HIM-----NOTHING HAPPENED WHEN I TRIED LOGGING IN EXCEPT THE PASSWORD ERROR MESSAGE (AND I USED THE CORRECT PASSWORD IN FACT!) & NOTHING HAPPENED WHEN I TRIED THE ''FORGET PASSWORD'' FEATURE! AND I DID TRY USING DIFFERENT BROWSERS, ETC! Eventually, I was told nothing that he could do & a ''technician'' would call me within 2-3 business. A person named something like ''UMUSH'' called me late afternoon of Oct 27. AND I HAVE TO REPEAT THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE & EXPLAINING & REPEATING WHAT I HAVE TRIED & WHAT I COULD OR COULD NOT DO. This supposedly a Walmart technician was again unable to offer any help other than wasting more of my valuable time. He promised me multiple times that he would contact their tech office & call me back around the same time on Oct 28. Well, I was receiving no more call whatsoever from this ''Umush'' person or anyone else from Walmart Canada after this. Such a lier from Walmart Canada. Shame on him! Much more shame on Walmart Canada for its total failure to resolve such a simple account issue to begin with...

Since then, this bubble tea franchise has shut down in the GTA. Chung Chun Rice Dog has taken over this spot. This change explains Skycity in a nutshell. There is a high concentration of bubble tea shops at Skycity. Competition is fierce. I was recently here, thinking that I should get some bubble tea. I actually couldn't decide because the selection was insane and proceeded with my errands instead... haha! I tend to visit Chatime the most here to get my bubble tea fix. Apart from an oversaturation of bubble tea stores, this place has a ton of food. I feel like it'll take me years to eat my way through this place. I recently visited Chung Chun and had an excellent experience. I love their Korean rice dogs and I'm thrilled that this location is a lot closer to me than heading over to North York to satisfy my cravings. My local Cheese Garden is here. I like that I can order online and drop by to pick up my goods. There are benches scattered around the plaza in case you are in a food coma after stuffing yourself to rest or take a nap. There is plenty of parking, although it does getting busy at night. Many eateries and bubble tea places open till 11:30 pm or midnight. There are other businesses, such as electronic stores, nail salons, and more. I have yet to make a dent in these categories here. The catch is that when you exit onto Midland, you can only turn right. Although it's convenient for me to turn left and head home, I don't mind cycling around the block to get home. It's safer considering how weird drivers can be around this area. One of these days, I will visit every bubble tea place here. The problem is that I have my usual places in Markham that it's tough to break decent habits. (342)
