She was totally right when she said they have such a crazy mix of products and the prices are beyond cheap! She ended up getting an awesome neck rest that can clip to your bag for like 7 bucks. I ended up buying an air freshener that smelled amazing. They also had a few Japanese drinks in their cooler and I found one that I've only seen in Japan. They have a rather large mix of stuff at this store. The only downside is they don't have a ton of a certain kind of thing. This is obviously due to space and trying to ya e all the products that would fit anyone's needs. I'm talking from electronics to bathroom accessories. They have a ton! Definitely add them to your list to visit.

Familiar Japanese candies and Meiji chocolates abound (irresistible). I shop there primarily for Japanese toiletries and tooth picks. LOL.

I love original Shirley biscuits and found they had a ginger flavour at this store which I haven't seen at other places. I found a small glass mug that I've been searching for so long and was excited because it was the perfect size! They had some cool looking plates too. I also found a cheese knife set that I haven't seen at other dollar stores. They had this Italian carbonated spring water in a beautiful glass bottle I had to get! All were great deals. I got friendly service too at check out. I loved that they offered to wrap my glass mug.

This store is huge and you should find what you're looking for by paying attention to the overhead signs between the aisles. The selection is pretty vast and quantities plentiful as the shelves are constantly re-stocked by staff. I found what I was looking for and felt pretty good for the $10 I paid on 3 kitchen items and $1 for the card (all pre-taxes). Mind you, all but the card came from China. Checkout was quick although nobody actually got a thank you from the cashier after the sale; we're talking about 5 different customers including me. Minus 1 star!!

I finally got to visit it on Labour Day. If you love Japanese products, particularly themed items, such as Pink Panther, Moomin, and Line characters, this store is screaming out your name. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you are getting. I got introduced to Brown, the bear in the Line group of characters, when there was a limited Lamy fountain pen of Brown a few years back. I then when to Shanghai and there was a Line store. I was pleased to see that you can get facial and eye masks branded with these cute characters. I like Pink Panther. I didn't realize how popular he still is until I walked into this store, and saw purses, phone cases, stuffed toys, and a ton more. Wow! The plush, stuffed toys in this store are pretty extensive. Keep on walking towards the back of the store and see the large selection. They are adorable! As a person who enjoys looking at electronic accessories, the variety is impressive. I loved looking at these heavy duty Moomin power banks for your cell phones, tablets, and more. They are heavier in weight than any of the power banks that I own, but they are cute, functional, and mightier in charge. I did not buy anything. My goal was to browse and then figure out what I'd like. From purse accessories to stationery, I can see myself doing a ton of damage. I like that Hillcrest is bringing exciting stores into its mall. Miniso is a perfect addition to the store roster. (336)

They really need to increase the security at this Dollarama. I've been pushed by a random, sketchy person before, and I often see interesting characters lurking at this store. Selection at this store is pretty good and it's decently well maintained. They do have some issues where there isn't self-checkout and lack of cashiers can cause long lineups at the front. There are times where I've had to wait over 15 minutes just to check out one item.

I thought this place was really cool. Even if most dollar stores aren't strictly selling all items…read morefor a dollar, it's a bit of a stretch to call this place one as it is noticeably more than those in price. However, they also seem to be selling much nicer products, and in a much nicer atmosphere (i.e. clean, well lit, well laid-out, well staffed, etc...). And overall, items are still generally low-cost. It's difficult to try and describe the place. A general way to describe it is to try to think of the various, most non-decorative, items they sell at Ikea and it gives you a bit of an idea. Most items seemed to be made by (or made for) Miniso. I don't have enough experience to speak to the quality of most items, but given their reputation, it probably speaks to higher quality and with less chance of "maybe this will break after the third use" you get with dollar stores. They just sell so much stuff here. Clothing, makeup, electronics and lots of toys. The toys were pretty cool - often educational, and certainly better than the happy meal grade quality you'd expect at other dollar stores. And a lot of the items still are pretty cheap. We came since we were looking for soft measuring tape. They didn't sell it individually, but they had it in a sewing kit which included a bunch of thread and needles all for only $2. I can't speak to whether this compares to ones found in Japan, but it's quite unique within the market this location is located in and worth at least checking out for sure. Brampton LOVES dollar stores, so there should be room for one that at least elevates the scene, even if by a little.

There were some attractive racks (tech stuff), but a good chunk of the merchandise (re: junk jewelry, caps, hats, kitchen wares) reminded me that it's a $5-store IRL. Majority of the smaller items, especially the cheap make-up, were priced between $2.99 - $5. Power Banks and larger items were obviously more expensive. Some of the prices were decent, but others are actually more expensive than Winners/Homesense/Marshalls. Other than the couple of Moomin-printed items, there was not really anything else that you can't find elsewhere. Miniso is presented in a nicer way than Dollarama with better lighting, shelving/hardware, and convenient especially the travel bottles, beauty supplies, housed all in one store. I cannot confirm, but based on the other review, all sales are final. And this isn't a good policy. I'd rather pay the same price and buy from a TJX-store ESPECIALLY if I'm purchasing tech (headphones, batteries) items.
