I had picked one main blue aluminum balloon, two white balloons and two gray balloons, but by the time air was put into them, they were almost all white balloons and didn't go with the bouquet. I had to add a blue balloon to add some pop for colour. When I got home, I noticed a balloon had a 'Mr. & Mrs' on it which didn't go with my birthday balloons. The sales girl obviously noticed that, but couldn't be bothered to tell me of my mistake in picking that balloon . And after paying almost $16 for liquid filling and helium for all the balloons, not even 24 hours later all of them except for the aluminum balloon were deflated to the floor. I figured the loose balloons they sold are old and therefore leaks. If you bought the prepackaged silver foil balloons they would last, as mine did. I will never go back there again. It's a loft-like space with lots of natural light and really well decorated. One thing that set it apart immediately, is it doesn't have that thrift store smell. They're true to their word that they're only selecting good quality items. Sure, some of the items are perhaps a bit plain, but you don't have to take too long to find a few things you'll like. It's certainly not the case of searching for a diamond in the rough. I imagine woman will like the place even more since about 80% of the floor space is for them. There were several shoppers there and they seemed to have no issue picking out great stuff too. Also, prices are GREAT! Anyone who's 'vintage' shopped in places like Kensington Market will know that things can still have relatively higher prices. My items were incredibly inexpensive, including a Banana Republic shirt which showed virtually no signs of wear for $10. I found out at the counter that this is actually a franchise as part of a fairly large chain (which I hadn't previously heard of). Regardless, they're a very unique and welcome edition to the city.

My old sneakers were the most comfy shoes I've owned. I can walk miles on the Vegas Strip with those pair of Nike shoes without my feet hurting. It's old, it's got holes, not on the soles but the sides, I didn't care... but I agreed with the hubby only because I am not able to dry them from the boat tour at The Niagara Falls. It was soaking wet. The store is huge. All the shoes are displayed out on the floor so if you like a pair but it's not your size then you're out of luck. The aisles were in sections by gender first then size. Clearance means not the latest model shoes so don't expect the latest here. The store was organized and neat. I noticed that all the shoes are on the shelves and not strewn down messy on the floor. Eventually, I found a pair of shoes. It wasn't love at first sight but I guess it'll grow on me eventually. It's close to my house, small enough that I can navigate it quickly. I'm elderly. The store is fairly well stocked, except for housewares and women's plus sizes. It's clean, staff are friendly, great selection, fair pricing. I have never had a complaint until October 3, 2025. After waiting in line a while, I was served by ELLEN . We didn't get off to a great start. I handed her my winners bag to put my purchases in. She told me to bag it myself! I always help, just not when I'm ordered to. My total was about $215. I gave her cash, $220. In 11. $20bills. She counted it 3 times. I finally told her she needed basic math skills. No yelling, no swearing. She got all defensive and mouthed something rude. She then became overwhelmed and went to count it for the 4th time! . Finally a lady came over, told her to relax, breathe, and finished off the sale for ELEN. Ellen was a teenager, caucasion, long brown hair. I'd really like to know who thought this girl would be an asset and a good fit working a register and dealing with customers. I don't believe she had any training whatsoever. I was not impressed at all ( she had a small brain and a big mouth). October 5th, I was shopping again. ELEN was working cash. When it was my turn, I got Ellen. I don't think so, no way! I told the person behind me to go first. As I was being rung through by another cashier, a very nice one, I guess Ellen was finished her shift. She thought it would be cool to interrupt the sale, give the cashier a huge, fake hug, and discuss her work schedule. I was not impressed. It is then that I decided to write a review. I realized we all have to start somewhere, but why stick someone on cash that can't count? We are not a cashless society yet. Many teenagers would love to have a job in this economy, for extra spending money. This girl doesn't deserve this job. I think she should be retrained in cash and social skills, how to talk to a customer, especially elderly customers who grew up with manners. Maybe the stockroom or a factory is more up her ally. . Marshall's should be more careful who they hire to represent their store. If this is who they chose, I would hate to see who they rejected!!

One2Ten is basically a dollar store but merchandise ranges anywhere from $1 to $10. It kind of reminded me of a smaller version of Party City which is across the street. They sell lots of random things, ranging from: seasonal products, candy, party supplies, toys, and little gadgets. The woman working during our visit was friendly and also gave us a grand opening coupon. I wouldn't have bought anything but the coupon was a pretty good deal. The coupon stated that if you spent $10 or more you would get $5 off. I ended up getting a bunch of Christmas gifting supplies to use this month and next year. I doubt I'll be visiting this place often because I usually don't need to buy random things lol. However, I think little girls would really like this store.
