I had picked one main blue aluminum balloon, two white balloons and two gray balloons, but by the time air was put into them, they were almost all white balloons and didn't go with the bouquet. I had to add a blue balloon to add some pop for colour. When I got home, I noticed a balloon had a 'Mr. & Mrs' on it which didn't go with my birthday balloons. The sales girl obviously noticed that, but couldn't be bothered to tell me of my mistake in picking that balloon . And after paying almost $16 for liquid filling and helium for all the balloons, not even 24 hours later all of them except for the aluminum balloon were deflated to the floor. I figured the loose balloons they sold are old and therefore leaks. If you bought the prepackaged silver foil balloons they would last, as mine did. I will never go back there again. When you come in, it does give a slight attic smell, which I don't mind. They told me they usually restock on Thursdays and the other location by Sterling Road usually carries even more inventory. I purchased a shiatsu massager and back up Aukey earphones that were new in package from the Ex. However, the earphones didn't work. The great thing is they are one of the few or probably only liquidators that I know that allows for a 7 day return if there's an issue. Normally most discount liquidators I've been to, it's pretty much the final sale. I wasn't able to visit within 7 days, but did send them an email with the issue with the earphones so they extended the warranty for me to come in within the end of the month to get store credit or exchange, which I'm so grateful for. Apparently they sold hundreds of those earphones and only a few came back with issues. I was able to drop by yesterday after work and decided to exchange for another shiatsu massager for my in-laws. What I appreciate about this spot is that it's relatively organized in shelves with multiple copies of an item. There are bargain bins too for $5 if you really want to search for any deals and treasures. I much prefer than other liquidators where usually things are thrown in bins and you don't know exactly what it is until you open it. The staff there was also super patient and friendly. Definitely if you're in the area peek in and see if you score any deals. They will be moving back inventory from the Ex today and the pricing seems to be the same. Though they might offer tax off discounts with cash at the Ex but not at the store.

They really need to increase the security at this Dollarama. I've been pushed by a random, sketchy person before, and I often see interesting characters lurking at this store. Selection at this store is pretty good and it's decently well maintained. They do have some issues where there isn't self-checkout and lack of cashiers can cause long lineups at the front. There are times where I've had to wait over 15 minutes just to check out one item.

First off, almost nothing here is $1. Everything is priced individually, most at well more than $1. Second, some of the stuff you buy here is junk. I bought a mop here and a plastic bag holder (similar to the ones you get at Ikea) and both broke almost immediately. How does a mop break? It mildews the first time you use it. The plastic bag holder was defective and would not allow itself to be assembled no matter what I tried. Upon trying to take it back, I was told that it was my fault for failing to put it together correctly. Uh huh. Third, it's crowded, disorganized, and dirty. Some of the merchandise has been sitting so long that it has a layer of dust...gross. OVERALL, this dollar store is a definite miss. Go to Dollarama or one of the chains for a much better shopping experience.
