This sandwich shop was truly amazing. We are from out of town and just wanted a quick sandwich. We had a group of 8 people and they were quick and easy to work with. They are so kind and helpful. All the meat and bread was very fresh and they said they make all their food fresh daily and their bread is delivered fresh everyday. We enjoyed the food and they took very good care of us. I have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge crush on this establishment. I look forward to the one day a week I travel to Santa Fe for work just because I know I'm going to be lunching at Mucho. Every lunch I have for an office, I use Mucho for catering. They have a huge sandwich menu, some very delicious salads, and don't even get me started about their soups. Ok, DO get me started about the soups!! I LOVE the soups here. I've tried just about every soup they put out and every single one is amazing. AMAZING, you hear me?! I do have to say, the mushroom bisque is my absolute fave, but really you can't go wrong with any that you order. Their sandwiches are also great as is the chicken salad. Mucho was recommended to us my an employee at Walgreens. Mucho is a popular lunch spot for people working in the area. We arrived after visiting Meow Woof--the line to order was out the door. But the employees kept things moving very quick. Being first time visitors we were trying to read the menu before getting to the front of the line. Nevertheless once we got to the front we still questions and the employee answered our questions without rushing us. I liked that they had gluten free bread. The portion sizes were huge. The owner came around to greet patrons and even spent some time chatting with us. I can't wait to visit Santa Fe again and stop by Mucho's. read more

I've been trying to get over here for a couple of weeks but they're strictly a lunch operation and only open Mon-Fri from 10:30am-3:00pm. I had the Spinach n' egg classic which was good although it fell apart pretty quickly because the dressing and the mayo for the eggs saturated the bread. But still a good sandwich. There isn't a lot of seating (inside or outside) so I asked for my food to-go. Since it was so busy (I imagine its like that all the time) they were taking orders for people in line before they got to the counter. Update: came back again a few days later and ordered a New Mexico BLT for myself and a Prime Delight for a friend. The BLT was 90% dried out bacon that was diced into little bits so it all fell out when I picked up the sandwich. The Prime Delight was apparently ok. I called in the order and asked for drinks and sides but the person on the phone got snippy with me and said "you order drinks and sides here, not over the phone". Well excuse me. read more

Mucho "Gormet" Sandwich Shoppe has been a lunch-time staple for as long as I can remember. I have been a regular customer since they were located down town. I have recommended them to people and employers as a good lunch for meetings. I will no longer recommend them anyone. In fact, I'm here to tell you why it's best to go elsewhere. Constantly busy, the sandwiches used to be worth the long waits and the rude employees. But Frankly I've had my last interaction with them. I won't order from them again. Why? * Delivery time is awful. Even after placing our order at 9:00am and promised an "asap" delivery time in their first slot, the sandwiches didn't arrive until after the meeting was over and after the 11:30 - 12:00 delivery window. One of our group had to go without lunch that day. *Customer Service is Awful. Heaven help you if something isn't right with your order or if you have a problem. As polite as you are they are extremely rude and will do little to help you fix the problem. *The prices are just too high for what you get. *The sandwiches used the be the best in town. But these days that just isn't true. There are better places to take your business. Locally owned and delicious these other place treat you with kindness and respect. read more
