Them - Okay, so you want the club? Me - No, just turkey, chicken, bacon. Them - We don't have chicken. Me - Okay, turkey and bacon please. Them - So, the club? Me - Sure, the club. But no ham or mayo. Them - we can do a chicken breast. Me - Sure, that sounds good. Them - Okay, so you want the Santa Fe (or whatever it is with chicken breast, green peppers, and onions). Me - No, I would like a gluten free sub with turkey and bacon. Them - Oh, so the club. Me - Yes, but no ham or mayo. Them - Sure. What I got was a gluten free sub with chopped up chicken breast, turkey, bacon, and HAM. I took off the ham and gave it to the dog. It was an okay sandwich, but the amount of work that went into getting what I was asking for was painful and unnecessary. Just curious...is incredible stupidity a prereq for living in NM? Had two other encounters traveling through the northwestern corner of NM today where everyone was complete idiots. THE GRUB Even after having not been to a Jersey Mike's and a couple years, I had a loyalty reward for a free mini (-$7.25). My oldest ordered a mini #7 Turkey and Provolone. My youngest opted for the #13 The Original Italian. They wanted plain potato chips and a bottled water each. The grand total after the reward was $16.96. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB My kids are at this weird age where kids meals sometimes aren't enough food, but they do have kid's meals. If there was a little bit of a wait, they didn't tell me that they were backed up or anything so I was a little disappointed and made perfectly aware of my situation as I only have a half an hour for lunch, they threw a couple of brownies in there and I didn't know until I went to drive away to my delightful surprise. I love Jersey Mike's. First time I ever had it was a couple years ago on a road trip when we stopped at one somewhere in Colorado. This Santa Fe location is the closest to me, and I eat there often. I always order online and do the in-store pickup. It's always right there in a bag on the shelf waiting for me with my name on it. My go to order is the Original Italian and I add pickles, jalapeños, banana peppers, and pepper relish. Today I tried the club supreme and added the same items, because I kept hearing this was some great viral online sub. I didn't like it as much as the Italian, but it was still great. I think where I messed up is that I didn't change the bread to the rosemary parmesan. Veggies are always fresh, meat and cheeses are excellent. This was our second time here in a week. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches were tasty for the most part. My wife, daughter and I all had the Italian #13 the first time and all agreed they were great for the price. The second time they both had the same sandwich but I opted to try something new. Unfortunately I tried one of the hot subs, the Beacon Ranch Chicken Cheese sub. I was most disappointed with the chicken meat. I had expected something close to sliced chicken breast but it seemed more like finely chopped all most minced so it was kinda gooey. Adding the ranch and melted cheese made it even more so. If you like gooey then you may love it. We'll definitely go back. Nothing wrong with the restaurant just my selection that day. read more

We stopped in after getting our car serviced across the street. The sandwiches we got - Philly cheesesteaks - were very good. And HUGE. I got a regular, and could only eat 1/2, my husband got the large, and could only eat 1/2. We could have gotten the large and split it and been happy! But now we have another meal. The service was, um, I will say meh. The young woman who took our order was surly, no manners, and obviously wanted to be anywhere else. The substitute Jersey Mike's are very good. The roast beef was great. The tuna was great and the others are good. The staff are usually good hard-working and efficient. I always tipped them out because I can see how hard they work there. This is a good sub shop much better than Subway. read more

They were very nice, service was outstanding and the sub hit the spot. It was delicious. I went in to get my order and noticed it looked nice clean and organized inside. Had a good experience the first visit when we just walked in, ordered and took subs home. This time, however, we ordered in advance - online. I arrived a couple of minutes before our pickup time (11:46 for an 11:48 pickup) and was told that they were waiting on 1 of the subs and it'll be right out. I said great, and figured it would be a couple of minutes. They were busy for the upcoming lunch hour, but not too slammed. I waited and more online orders showed up and left with their orders. I inquired again about noon about my order and they said they were still waiting on the one sub. I waited more, and waited. After about 25 minutes of waiting I asked for a third time about my sub and they asked if I wanted a complimentary drink while I waited. I didn't. I'd seen at least 40 subs get ordered, prepared, and served to people who simply walked in... I had ordered over an hour ago, showed up on time, and still no sub. I got the subs 33 minutes after the assigned pick-up time. It's a process thing, I guess. But when you see all those other orders go out, when they - clearly - know I'm waiting on my subs... it's infuriating. I will not be back - my wife may come pick them up. But I will not. Sorry, but you guys failed with my order today. Don't order online... and oh yeah, and the buffalo chicken sub sucks. read more

I grew up next to a Jersey Mikes in California. Haven't had it in 10 years since moving here to NM. When we drove to Santa Fe last week to visit my in laws, I noticed a Jersey Mikes had been built and had to stop! I ordered the #9 Club Supreme (Mike's Way, which is all the fixings with the oil and vinegar) on White Bread, and it was super good! I will definitely be back when I'm in town again. read more

Johanna asked me if it was a preference or an allergy. I let her know that I have celiac disease and need to be really carefully.
