Great service, I had the carnitas which were delicious. They were not dry, beans with cheese and rice were delicious. Thanks again great service. We will definitely be back. read more

I don't remember writing this but I've been back since it's reopening & it's my local! Their own Parking lot & street pkg. Clean bathrooms. Excellent service!! My fave chips & salsa. IMHO the best chicken wings! I get them crispy and at happy hour - It's $13 for 12 wings and they come with celery, carrots, and ranch and/or blue cheese and they're fantastic.! $8/10 margaritas at HH as well. HH til 6pm, I believe all week??? I looooove this place!!! read more

Mucho Mas offers a pretty good menu with a variety of items ranging from about $18-$25. We have driven by for years. We finally tried it. I had the chicken fajitas which had more vegetables than anything else. It came with rice and beans and pico de gallo. My guy had the enchiladas combo plate. He said it was good. Service could of been better. We were kind of left at our table for several minutes before we flagged someone down to take our order. They cant say they were short staffed. I saw 3 female waitress walking around. We already had finished our chips. We even put our closed menus in the corner of the table to hint we were ready. We finally waved someone down to see if they could take our order. At the end of the meal it was the same thing. It took time to get our check. We had to ask for it. I did notice regulars got top knotch speedy service. One regular came after us and had his order taken and drink out quick. Many staff came to give him hugs too. I guess if you are a regular you are VIP. If not good luck. They have their own parking lot, but its pretty tight. One way in and one way out. read more

This is a Happy Hour Review Hrs 2-6 Mon-Fri - We got there around 4pm and was the only ones in the bar for a good 30mins! I have eaten at Mucho Mas several times!! It is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I love that it's 5 mins from me. We got the $8 margaritas $10 for blended - Jose the Bartender did hook us up because we were over tipsy but under drunk by time we left Sorry no pics of our actual meals but I got the Sope: it was fried really hard and my hubby got the wings. All I can say is we should have stuck with our usual sour cream enchiladas. Pat our server was so nice. He made sure we were taken care of. The ambiance takes us back to Playa del Carmen, MX - it's just beautiful inside!! There is a small parking lot. If I were you I would park on the street. So When it's 5 o'clock Somewhere- the somewhere is at Mucho Mas Happy Hour!!!! read more

I had dinner here for the first time since they reopened. I love what they've done with the dining room. While the old booths were always kind of cool, the new tables give it a fresher look. The good: The service was fantastic! That's rare to find these days. Our waiter told us he had been there for 41 years so they must treat their employees well. The Margarita flight was amazing! They have so many flavors to choose from and you get your choice of four flavors. The cheese enchilada was absolutely loaded with cheese and had a great cheese pull. It didn't include the peppers that our waiter asked us if we wanted, but it tasted great without them so that wasn't a big deal. The bad: While I loved the flavor of the shrimp fajitas I ordered, I was very disappointed that there was only six shrimp in the entire thing. At almost $25, I expected more than six shrimp. The texture and flavor of the shrimp was delicious though. If you haven't been to Mucho Mas or haven't been back to since they reopened, go! read more

Mucho Mas - Margarita flight. You can pick whatever four flavors you want to try. From left to right: jalapeno, black cherry, coconut, and pineapple. - Mexican Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This place came highly recommended so we tried it. We did Door Dash the food and it was hot. That's the best thing I can say. The nachos, burrito, taquitos and shrimp cocktail were all very bland. There was no flavor or a lime slice, nothing. The rice tasted like red peppers with corn and peas in it. The taquitos were dry. We were very disappointed. I would not recommend this place, it's hype on the internet. read more

I love mucho mas and have been eating here for over 20 years! They never let me down. Best cheese enchiladas in the Valley.

My new favorite Mexican spot! They have an amazing happy hour and the bartenders/servers are so down to earth. They seem to keep regulars easily because of how friendly the service is. I've seen multiple customers greet them by their name. They give unlimited hot chips and salsa and the chips are deep fried and crispy. SO good. Guac is also good, I'd get a medium to share between two. Their blueberry margarita is the best margarita I've had in my life. They recommended black cherry for next time since that also super popular! I got the $20 flight for four and they offer over 10 different flavors including peach, passion fruit, guava, jalapeño, blueberry, black cherry, Jamaica, kiwi, lychee, tamarindo, etc. I'd honestly come back for their margaritas alone. The good food is just a plus. Happy hour also includes beer! Mulitas only $10. 2-6pm everyday! They have lots of street parking and a parking lot as well. They also have sports playing on several screens so it's a great place to watch football! Very nicely decorated interior and I'll definitely be back! read more

I used to come here many years ago. It was never my fave, but it was a good atmosphere and good food. When I realized they'd closed down I was a bit bummed. However, seeing them reborn again was a fun thing to see when it happened, so had to stop back in and see what the rebirth was like and happy to say I enjoy better nowadays; it could be due to some reminiscence, but I think the product is just better overall. The place has a good atmosphere, the staff are very pleasant, and the food is tasty and at a fair price. read more

This was my 2nd time coming I felt like the vibe was genuinely off. Customer service was not the best, the waiter did not check up on us once, and the people who got seated after us got their food before us which was disappointing. Food was underwhelming, big plate but very bland. It felt rushed and wish the customer service and food overall was better. I took my family here for Mother's Day in hopes of starting the day off right but unfortunately my family and I felt like it just didn't hit or was satisfying. On a brighter note, will say the first time i came here i got the margarita for my birthday and it was amazing so there are some drink selections that are nice. And there are spacious seatings in both outdoor and indoor as well as a selection for bar where I had gotten my margarita slush. read more

Overall, this was a great spot and I'd genuinely love for it to become our go-to neighborhood place since it's so close by. The happy hour food and drinks were both really good, and the atmosphere was solid. That said, I do think the tip recommendations should be based on the pre-tax subtotal, not the post-tax total. We still tipped 20% pre-tax, which is a completely fair and standard tip, but the service noticeably changed once our server saw it. The attitude shift was disappointing and honestly the only negative part of the experience. She even kicked us out, lol. read more

Everything about this spot was disappointing, Service was the worst first off, All the waiters just hanging out and it was slow and it took about 10 min just to order and another 10 just for the check and the food was disappointing, I rather go eat Don coco or el Totoro read more

I'm sad. It's taking me this long since it's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants of all time. Incredible food, always changing menu, and great service. The ambience is incredible as well and they always have cool sports events going on. I recommend the Arroz con Pollo, or the Chili verde. Plus get the guacamole. They bring these extra crispy chips that are incredible! read more

The transition from a walk-up, to-go order turned double bagged hand-off with subsequent belly-flop onto wet burrito containing an amount of carnitas (delicate) that would be able to, in fact, satisfy a decently hungry family of four, was smooth and entertaining enough inside the Don Quixote adorned restaurante. La historia, indeed, still has place to be heard inside walls of old ranch houses such as those of Mucho Mas. read more

Finally gave this place a try after passing by frequently on Burbank. It was well worth it, we got a carne asada quesadilla, carnitas nachos, shrimp cocktail and the spicy pasta. Everything was delicious, had great flavor and portions were huge ! Our only complaint was the wait time for food and the shrimp cocktail only had a few shrimps and mostly consisted of veggies. But once our food came out everything was perfect and hot so it was well worth the wait. Drinks are also yummy, we got regular and mango margaritas on happy hour. Wish we took photos but we dug right in once everything arrived. We will definitely be back read more

Mucho Mas is a Mucho blast, this longstanding family owned restaurant is located on the outskirts of North Hollywood (like you literally cross the street and you're in Burbank)! Easy parking in their lot or own the street (all free ninety nine w/o restrictions, meters or vallet) Upon entering you may notice their large patio to the left of the door. You'll be greeted and seated promptly, give their menu + specials and left to your devices as they say, until it's time to order. Whether you're a large rambunctious party of 12 or a pair of two, you'll get the mucho experience. Our server was very attentive most of our meal. She was very kind and helpful. I went with the veggie fajitas burrito (dry rather than wet, sin queso)... My M.M. regular date went with sizzling shrimp fajitas, which came with sides of beans and rice, like my burrito... Plus we had complimentary chips & salsa and an order of chips and guac... Needless to say... It was a full table! The food was nice, portions big! Very much appreciated all the veggie options (mainly fajita based entrees or salads - vegetarian by default, vegan with simple no dairy mods). They have some fun drink options including margaritas, cerveza y una barra completa (a full bar). The layout is traces of abode meets modern Mexican cantina restaurant, with nods to latin cultura in their art, pictures (such a the late Chespirito) y many attentions to detail. M. Mas was very busy on a Friday Night, We saw some parties waiting for tables on our way out... Grateful we stopped in before 8PM when things super picked up! Open 11AM to 9PM, six days a week (cerrado el Martes). read more

During the whole time we were there, there was only one server handling the bar area. He was working hard the entire time and doing his best, but they really need another person to help. This place is absolutely awful. The queso was gritty, so bad that we sent it back. The "crispy flautas" were flimsy and clearly not cooked long enough. The steak fajitas were unseasoned and mostly veggies. The drinks were good so I'll give em' one star for that. read more

First time back since reopening. It's exactly as I remembered: very Americanized Mexican food. This place isn't going to win any great culinary awards, but it is satisfying, and the portions are very large. I had the taco and cheese enchilada combo. The rice could have had more flavor. But the food filled me up. The place, since the fire, looks really clean and brand new. The bathrooms were clean. The service was fine as it wasn't busy. read more

So, my partner and I went out for dinner on Cinco de Mayo. We knew it would most likely be a challenge anywhere we went due to the holiday. We started at our other favorites prior to going to the last resort Mucho Mas!. When we arrived, it was busy and we were greeted by a Server who remembered us, and by Patricio, an acquaintance of ours from before the fire. We used eat here at least once or twice a week. Service was so much better then. This time we put our name in for a table and we waited patiently. We even helped with calling out names to people also waiting for tables, but didnt here it called, because they barely raised their voice enough for them to be heard. More people came in and signed in after us. And it looked as if we were next to be called! Well, we were passed over at least twice by people who got there after us! This is so rude and unacceptable! We should have known not to even try this sorry excuse for a restaurant. We stopped going here a long time ago, because the food and drinks sucked. Milanesa that tasted like they poured a box of salt into it and drinks that tasted like paint thinner! I don't suggest this place to anyone! Oh and my friend was told by whoever responds to these reviews, that he/ we were not a good fit and to take our business elsewhere! This was very rude and dismissive and disrespectful of customers who tried to come back several times to be loyal, and were treated this way. We have taken our business elsewhere, and will never come back again. You will reap what you sew! You treat your customers badly your business will suffer the consequences. I am not writing this review for any apology or explanation, you've done the damage to us who did nothing but try to be supportive to your business. Never again! read more

Was I on a quest to see how many spots in the valley I can drink margs at within a three day period? No. Did I inadvertently do just that? Yes, yes I did. We met up for a friends lunch at Mucho Mas on Friday afternoon. I'd never been here before but can definitely say I'd return based on my first experience. We all know by know I love a Mexican restaurant, margs and flautas. That's no secret. Our party of 9 was seated at a perfect table beside the bar. The pitchers of margaritas flowed without a thought. Everyone ordered combo plates but I'd just had Mexican the night before and it was 1230p so I ordered the flautas appetizer plate (one beef, one chicken). Service was great!! I'd return to try a regular margarita (non pitcher pour, although these went down fast and plenty), and maybe a sizzling fajita entree. Everything looked yummy! read more

Love this place, you feel like family every time you walk in the door. The food is incredible.

Mucho Mas is a stand-out Mexican food restaurant in an area where it would be easy to just blend in with the hundreds of other, simular style restaurants close by. I really enjoy this place. The food is absolutely delicious! Last night, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Tostada Salad. The flavor profile was on point, the ingredients were fresh, and OMG the grilled chicken. My mouth is watering, just thinking about it now. The service is outstanding! My waitress last night was exceptional (I wish I could remember her name so i could give her a shout out!). Thank you for making my visit to Mucho Mas that much better! I love this building. It has a classic feel. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect. The location is clean and well kept. Come and get it! I will return!!!! Enjoy! #jsho read more
