    Azimuth Computer Solutions, THANK YOU!…read more Found Azimuth Computer Solutions (ACS) by chance, and am so delighted and grateful.  Had used Best Buy's Geek Squad for past computer problems, who were OK but always wanted to do things strictly on their terms, e.g., requiring me to bring my computer to their store and having me wait around for service, with only moderate success in resolving the issues. After decades of relying on computers, finally got my first dreaded "blue screen," with windows not loading at all.  Had all but given up trying to resolve the problem and was ready to spend $$$$ on a new computer and software to replace what had worked only a day earlier.  Fortunately, saw that my wife had left ACS's phone number on the kitchen table, so I called ACS as my second-to-last resort, and so glad I did. ACS's Frank answered my call and walked me through a bunch of alternative sequences over the phone, including going back in time to the antiquated DOS operating system.  Throughout the process, Frank was incredibly patient, cordial, AND knowledgeable.  After the better part of an hour, VOILA!  Problem solved, along with receiving some of Frank's safeguards and recommendations for preventing a repeat, all for a more-than-reasonable price. Frank and ACS, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!  Looking forward to meeting you in person and taking you out to the restaurant of your choice. Wang PC fixed my computer in two days for way cheaper than any other repair center would have given me. Martin is also incredibly nice, and there is a "every customer is important" vibe that other repair centers don't give. I had never used a computer repair service and was very reluctant to give my laptop away for repair. I was almost certain that this would not get solved and was worried about my data being lost. I was definitely proven wrong! I read the great reviews about WangPC and dropped my laptop off. Martin gave me an update with the problem and gave me a reasonable quote for the repair. I received my laptop back in a timely manner and everything was working great! Martin went above and beyond to repair other longstanding issues in the laptop that I didn't even ask for (and he did not charge me for this). These weren't easily perceptible issues, but Martin was able to spot them /fix them immediately. Martin is truly and expert/professional. I am very impressed with this service and would recommend to anyone. Really saved me a lot of time and headache. 5/5 stars.

I wanted to find someone who was actually technically qualified to handle this, and I have. I had thought about going the Best Buy or Geek Squad route, but I've had mixed results with both over the years, and honestly I didn't want to make my parents drive somewhere to drop off the laptop, just to have to drive there again to get it another day. They're quite elderly and I needed someone who could just go to them. When I called KC Technologies I immediately spoke with Kael, the technician that would be helping my parents. I liked that I was speaking directly with Kael because I was able to explain the details of what had happened without a call service or some kind of dispatcher trying to recreate the information. He walked me through their process for cleaning and securing the laptop, which in my opinion was comprehensive, and assured me that they had handled this exact type of situation many times. quickly arranged a same-day, in-home visit for a very reasonable flat fee.. He went out to my parents' house in the evening, so I didn't hear anything else about this until the next day. My parents talked about Kael for days afterward. That might not sound like a big deal, but my parents are not exactly known for handing out compliments. They said he was kind, patient, easy to talk to, and that he explained everything he was doing in a way they could actually follow. He never made them feel embarrassed or foolish about how they ended up in the situation, which meant a lot. Kael also didn't just fix the one laptop he came for. When he assessed the situation, he took it upon himself to check the two other computers in the house, found malware and hidden files on those as well, cleaned everything up, and set my parents up with software to help protect them going forward. My dad offered to pay him more for checking the other computers, and he refused to accept it. Perhaps I'm getting cynical in my old age, but I'm not impressed by much these days. That said, I'm extremely impressed by this company and specifically this technician. These folks were professional, thorough, and genuinely kind. As parents get older, the internet becomes a minefield and it's really hard to find someone local who will show up at their door, treat them with respect, and actually solve the problem. KC Technologies did all of that. I'd recommend them without hesitation and would definitely use them again.

They changed the battery and when I turned it on as I was walking out, I found it had a big black dot in the view. I went back to him, and then after another 20-minute wait I was told the screen was broken and i split the cost for his incompetence to replace it. Interesting that when I went back (after another 2 hour wait), he wanted to know my 4-digit passkey to unlock it. He didn't ask for this the first time i picked it up, and didn't realize until later why he did this. As the phone was unlocked the rest of the day, I didn't notice that when it did lock, the fingerprint function no longer works - and that's why he wanted to unlock it when I picked it up. He clearly knew it wouldn't work. In the end, the "new" battery he put in still discharges in a half-day, and so now I have the same phone that only unlocks with the 4-digit PIN, and still has a battery that only lasts about 10 hours. Good thing I went, huh? Incompetent AND low integrity. Wow, what a mix. Go on to another shop...

Our printer stopped working after 1 month-after several messages to him, he told us it was a piece of junk-so why did he sell it to us? Constantly calling, and when I do get him, he gets very defensive and belligerent, acting as if issues are my fault. He hasn't returned my last two calls so we've given up calling him. He is insistent that icons are on my computer that just aren't there, and gets upset with me when I try to explain they're not. We've wasted well over $1200 on a computer, printer, and repairs. When I mention his name at Staples, I was told he was a quack. Really regret dealing with him. Do NOT recommend.

He offered a few suggestions, just about all of which I had tried before and none of which helped at all. In the end, he told me that it did not sound as if he could help with this problem. There was no discussion of charges for the discussion. Neither did he ask me for contact information such as an address. A couple of days later, the mail brought a bill from him for his time. He added no value and did not pretend to. The transaction fails the basic business principles of being forthcoming and above board.
