Milton is fantastic, straight shooter and just super nice. All things you want in your rat guy! He took such good care of us, was super tidy when he worked and my Mom wanted him to stay for dinner. Reasonably priced, exceptional service. Support this DC business that has been around forever! read more

Great company! I highly recommend this company for their professionalism, expertise, honesty and willingness to explain the process and answer any and all questions to the customer satisfaction All at a fair price. Ask for Mr. Brown. You will not be disappointed. read more

What a JERK!!! I just called to request a quote and had a bad connection so when the person (a man) answered the phone his greeting was broken up. I asked is this MTB Pest Control to which he rudely responded "Yeah, that's what I just said." I told him he was breaking up so I didn't hear anything he said. I almost began to explain the reason I was calling and then I figured, if this is how they greet customers, I can only imagine how bad their services are, so I said Never mind, Thank You! read more

Ridiculous. I was quoted at $539 annually (on a quarterly service schedule) for inside and outside general pest control for a single family home under 3000 sq ft. In my response to my question of what happens if there's an issue in between a quarterly visit, the answer was that one of the four allocated-per-year visits would be used. Hmmm. Guess if some persistent ants or spiders decide to pay you a visit a few times at the beginning of the year, you're screwed come summer. read more

Milton is the best. He scheduled my Angie's List deal appointment very quickly and was accommodating when I needed to chance the terms from external to internal preventative pest control for my new home. He also was a very friendly and warm gentleman. I couldn't have asked for better service. read more

I contacted MTB about a rodent issue. They were really responsive at first and were able to get someone to the house the next day to close up any holes and leave rodent equipment. However, the first guy was not actually able to close all of the holes, because one was behind the stove. He indicated that his associate would be able to take of it in the next couple of days, but it was very difficult to contact this other guy, and he was not available. So now, I have a half completed extermination process, and MTB is being non-responsive. read more

Mr.Milton was great. I was a bit nervous in the beginning when I called to schedule the appt. but he was very professional and personable. I had a termite pre-inspect conducted for a pre-purchase. He came in and completed the inspection in minutes. Great work. I will definitely refer him to others. read more

I haven't actually had a chance to hire Milton (yet), but I wanted to leave a review regarding his response time and general professionalism. I'm in an awkward situation where I'm on the west coast, trying to sell a house on the east coast, and I have a bunch of minor repairs that need to be done before the date of the closing. One of those repairs is a pest treatment for powder post beetles, and I'm having an insanely hard time even getting other companies to answer my calls or e-mails - including the company that performed the original inspection and estimate! Milton answered my call from inside an attic, and followed up via e-mail within a few hours. He's been beyond understanding with regards to my extremely tight timeline, and the quote he gave me was quite reasonable. Unfortunately (well, sort of unfortunately), my realtor has in the meantime found and scheduled another company to come in and do the work within 12 hours. Milton's turn-around time was more like 24-48 hours. In normal circumstances, that's a stellar turn-around time, but a looming house sale makes even 12 hours matter. If for some reason things fall through with my realtor's selected company, I'll get back in touch with Milton. It's extremely reassuring just to know that a company as professional as MTB exists, and I strongly suggest that you hire them for your pest-control needs. read more

I found MBT through Yelp and read the reviews on Angie's list. I spoke with several companies including Terminex and decided to go with them when I found out I had a pest control problem. I was nervous because the service wasn't cheap using any companies but after speaking to Milton Sr and insisting (initially felt they wanted me to commit without a home visit) that I wanted an inspection before committing, I found him to be very knowledgeable about the issue I was having as well as the 30 day guarantee. After three weeks of weekly treatments in October, I can say that the job was thorough, they appointments arrival times were timely, but the peace of mind finally getting rid of pests was priceless. I am pleased that I have been able to sleep soundly with no further signs of infestation. I recommend! read more

Mr. Milton is great. He has serviced our home twice and its always a pleasure. Not only does he know pests, but he is professional and very down to earth. When we first moved in, we had a family of ants that marched in our kitchen. He easily solved that problem. read more

I so appreciate the attention to detail throughout the inspection and the willingness to share expertise on best solutions. Within a week of the inspection their traps caught the things we'd suspected were still in the house. I recommend that everyone go to MTB Pest Control for their services. read more

Scheduling was very easy via phone and text message, and Milton was available for a Saturday morning appointment. Arrived on time and did a great job. In addition to providing great service, Milton is also a super nice guy. Will definitely call MTB again if needed. read more

MTB was very responsive and were able to come out with a pretty quick turnaround after we contacted them. Milton was very professional and clearly knowledgeable and experienced. We requested a treatment for general pest control - spiders, centipedes, roaches, etc - your typical English basement visitors during the DC warmer months. We've used a few other pest control companies before, but none have been as thorough as MTB. The spraying inside and outside was thorough, copious sticky traps were set, and he even sealed up holes and openings where bugs could get inside from. Nothing's ever going to be 100% effective when you live in a basement, but after a month, we'd say we're as close to bug free as you can get. Best part is how affordable they are for the quality and they don't push you into contract commitments. We'll definitely be coming back to MTB for future pest treatments and issues. read more

Milton and his son are great people, they do what they need to, too eradicate pests and they are not expensive. Will def. use them again if need be. read more

Found MTB through Angie's List. I was so happy to find a pest control company with Sunday hours. I called for a bed bug inspection on a Sunday morning, and within an hour Milton was at my home. He was very professional, friendly, and thorough. Turns out we only had one bed bug, so Milton did some preventative spraying and recommended some steps we could take to prevent future problems. At no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of; he clearly didn't want to sell us services we didn't need. read more

Yellow jackets living in our wall! Contacted MTB yesterday and Milton Sr. came this morning. I had tried to spray them myself but since they were in the wall the spray could not get them. MTB treated with a dust and said if they are not gone in 3 days that he would return to re-treat for no charge. If found Milton to be very friendly, honest, and professional. Hopefully the treatment worked. The cost was $180 but yellow jacket hives are best left to professionals! read more

Contacted MTB based on the reviews here. Milton answered the phone and was able to come out to my house that same day. He diagnosed the problem, presented a treatment plan for a reasonable price and was able to get the treatment done right then and there. He has a warm, pleasant demeanor which really makes a difference. He wasn't pushy at all - no upselling. I would definitely contact MTB again for any pest control concerns. read more

Milton and his father are excellent at what they do and you won't be able to find better customer service. They were at my house hours after I made the call and really saved us from a mysterious mudbug nest that had shown up while we were away on vacation. read more

I went into my kitchen one morning and saw two baby cockroaches - my biggest fear. I was so disgusted and immediately began googling pest control companies, fearing that I had an infestation. MTB had great reviews so I left them a message and got a call back in less than half an hour. I had a pretty busy week so Milton offered to come at 6AM to fit my schedule. We ended up scheduling it for 7AM on a Saturday but I was so relieved that both appointments were offered - no other company would come that early or even come on a weekend without extra charge. Milton did a thorough inspection and told us that we didn't have a huge problem, it was nothing some spray and bait couldn't take care of. It's only been a few days but I haven't seen any more of those heinous creatures so as of now, I am really pleased! Milton was friendly, flexible, and extremely accommodating. Hopefully I won't need another exterminator but if I do I will certainly call MTB first! read more
