Last night I saw a giant rat run across my garage so now I've paid $3500 to hazmat clean the 1/2 my garage but still have a rat infestation. I'm now working with a rat removal service but before A2Z allowed me to hire them & get in contract they should have advised me to be sure to complete the proper step beforehand of ensuring the rat infestation was resolved. Now i'm out $3500 for an unnecessary garage cleaning and still have a rat infestation. As a new homeowner (or any homeowner) I'd assume a good business would make sure I've done the pre work (in this case rat infestation elimination) before accepting the job. That's in my view a shitty thing to have done to me as the client. Really disappointed because they seemed professional throughout the process. So for this reason of not holistically proactively making sure the proper prep was done I cannot rate this business any higher than a 2 star. I'm not angry I am however very disappointed and feel that I've been tricked. I cannot recommend this business.

After describing the job, I was given a verbal quote of roughly how much it would cost. Of the 4 quotes, one was several thousand higher than the other 3. The mold remediation company that I was referred to, went ahead and started tearing out drywall before any contract was signed. They also would not answer most of my questions and only sent a single photo of what they found and that was only after I asked them to send me photos a second time. I called Bio 911 and spoke to Kirill, the owner of the company. He told me that he doesn't like to take on jobs that are already being worked on by another company, but he told me that he would be happy to come out to inspect and evaluate my problem. He was incredibly thorough. He checked the drywall where visible mold had been seen, checked a nearby restroom even though no mold had been seen in there, the outside wall of the building adjacent to the affected drywall, and even the walls of an adjacent apartment. He detected moisture inside of the outside wall of the building, which was something that the other company had missed, and he outlined the steps needed to correct the moisture problem and mold issue. Kirill did all this work simply because he likes to help people. He did not charge me a penny. How often can you find someone that does things just to help people? It is super rare and I am giving Bio 911 my highest recommendation as a result.

After removing the acoustic ceiling in my living room, the crew left the ceiling exposed with visible water damage and walked away. I ultimately hired someone else to finish the work because I did not want the crew returning again. During the process, my home sustained additional damage, including a kitchen cabinet being ripped out and left in my driveway, damage to my kitchen floor, electrical wiring being cut (which required a licensed electrician), and custom drapes and blinds being torn down and balled up even though they should not have been removed. An oak cabinet was also disassembled on top of my washer, rendering it unusable. These issues were documented on site by their own representative, who expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the work. Despite causing documented damage, the company refused to reimburse for my custom drapes, sheers, and valences for seven windows. They rejected estimates--first claiming it was fraud--without providing any alternative valuation. To this day, my window treatments have not been replaced. To make matters worse, the company attempted to bill me for a disputed balance while threatening a lien, even though the damage caused far exceeded the amount they claimed I owed. This experience resulted in significant stress, additional out-of-pocket expenses, and unresolved damage to my home. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for professional, careful, and accountable work.
