I gave Mark a call with a question about my front door. The previous owners of the house had installed a special locking mechanism for it that I've never seen or even heard of. So I thought it was broken. After explaining it to Mark over the phone, he knew exactly what it was and how to lock it. He told me over the phone and it worked! That shows how experienced he is. I have lost my storage key, contacted Mark and set-up a same day appointment. Mark arrived on time and is very friendly. It was a deadbolt that I lost the key from, which was supposed to be the hardest to open. And it was not easy, Mark tried multiple methods and was finally able to open it. I asked him to rekey the lock to fit my house key, which I have tons of copy of and it was done quickly and the rekeyed lock works very smoothly. The lock to my entry door has been broken for a few months, I asked Mark to take a look, since it is a Baldwin lock, he recommend us to call the customer service. These locks have lifetime warranty, Baldwin would send us the broker parts for free. If he fix them now, we have to pay for the parts ourselves. Mark gave us the customer service number and also spent time researching the model number for us. Trustworthy locksmith! Since it is recommended to re-key and/or change your locks after buying a home I was looking to get the job done immediately. Extremely professional and had a great response time for a Sunday. We have a rare old front door lock. He did his best to fix our lock without purchasing a new lock which meant that we would be around $300+ . The dimensions where the two holes for the locks are too close together and the new locks would be too far apart. I tried looking for the same brand on line but I couldn't find it.
