We have been twice. Both times on Sunday. Had to wait to be seated both times but the wait was not very long. The food is severed buffet style. You go through the line and tell the ladies what you want. Your drink and dessert is included in the price. We had one plate which consisted of three vegetables, choice of meat, and bread. Also drink and dessert. Two plates with just two vegetables instead of the three. Total price was $50. Fried chicken is delicious. Vegetables were also very good. If you're looking for good home style cooking, this is your place. read more

My wife and I ate there for lunch a couple of days ago. It had been our first time there in a couple of years. The staff is very friendly. Andrea, our waitress, kept our drinks filled and kept checking on us. The cashier was very friendly. Not the rude one who we have experienced in the past. The food was good. I had the fried chicken, mac & cheese, broccoli bites and turnip greens. My wife had the shepherd's pie, broccoli bites and rice & gravy. The Good: Great Value ($10 for 1 meat, 2 sides, desert, drink, and cornbread), Large Selection, AMAZING DESSERT (got the cream cheese flaky crust thing). Friendly Staff. Quick eat. The Bad: I got the Small Plate (Ham, Mac&Cheese, and Rice & Gravy) and honestly not a fan each item lacked a flavor, was BLAND and was just missing something. Wow. Visited to have the lunch plate... Three choices: small w/2 sides, large w/3 sides, and all you can eat. I had the small with greens, crowder peas, and fried chicken. My wife had the same with Mac and cheese rather than peas. A biscuit or corn bread was included, as was a very tasty piece of cake for dessert- I had the banana cake. The greens were absolutely perfect, and the waitress asked if I wanted pepper vinegar for them. The biscuit was buttery- as biscuits should be with fried chicken!! The star of the plate was the fried chicken. Blisteringly hot, perfectly seasoned and fried. Our waitress was Brooke... Friendly, and she kept our sweet teas full! When we asked if we needed a ticket to present at the register, she said they operate on the honor system. Refreshing! The restaurant is 6 miles off of I-95 in Rincon... Found this place by accident! Very short list of places to eat near the hotel; expanded search a bit and this looked interesting. Not so big. Family place. Kinda like a cafeteria- where someone serves your selections from a list. Can choose meat entree and pick one to three sides. Price based on that. Includes dessert. Mine included ice tea. Food was really very good! Very nice people. A little confusing at first but we were advised by a customer to get out plates and then sit at any open table and the waitress will get your beverage. Price was very reasonable. I've paid a lot more for a lot less food at other places. Fair number of families were there. Everyone seemed to be enjoying what the got. Oh. There's a little country store as you enter that has local products. read more

Every time I am I Savannah Ga, I tried to visit Ms Jeans. Their lunches are served cafeteria style and some of the best home cooked southern meals! The prices is very reasonable and it includes a drink and their home made desserts. You cannot go wrong with the fried chicken and the Mac and cheese. The food is ok and I would recommend . except today I had to leave before eating (and I was hungry!) because they do not enforce ANY mask wearing or distancing. the family behind me all with no masks, the obese mother kept coughing in the serving line in front of the food servers... no attempt to cover her mouth.. We were so uncomfortable with their blatant disregard for the elderly present (most of the patrons were elders) I and my wife and friends will not be back any time soon, no matter what the food is like! I wasn't overly impressed by the food, the Mac & cheese was bland, green beans were canned & the gravy tasted like onion soup, while the service was friendly the atmosphere need a little more. The cases out front were empty but looked dirty and the store out front was just odd. read more

Best fried chicken I've ever had, and if you're hungry, the big plate is all you can eat. The sweet tea is perfect. The hush puppies are light, not greasy and delicious. We had some errands to run in the area today and found ourselves looking for lunch. I saw this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. It's real southern home cooking. We really enjoyed our meal. It's a small local place and nothing fancy but something really special. We tried the chicken and while it was good, the vegetables are what really won my heart. My only regret is that I wish we had tried the stuffed bell pepper. I'm looking forward to stopping by here again and trying more of their menu. Great for families. Very friendly service. read more

We enjoyed juicy fried chicken, chicken florentine, green beans, corn bread, biscuit, macaroni and cheese almost-as-good-as-mine that's a HUGE compliment (and Ms. Jeans mac n cheese is certainly better than any restaurant I've had macaroni and cheese as most restaurants ruin their mac n cheese). Each dinner comes with your choice of dessert (there were five to select from the day we dined in) and a drink of choice. We chose sweet tea, of course! We will eat here again! We give four stars because there is a cafeteria style feel to the atmosphere, our server was attentive, keeping our glass full and checking to see if we needed anything more.
